I wouldn't be surprised in today's world. Hopefully if that one stupid voice speaks up this time everyone else can actually use basic common sense and rational to see that it's interchangeable heads. Brother, that’s not even “today’s world”. Moms and parents have always been absurdly stupid with wrestling toys. Remember that Al Snow figure back in the day that got pulled because people thought it was a severed woman’s head in there? They even did an angle on TV about it! Lol. I could never forget that one lol. I still look at my on card Fully Loaded Al Snow figure and laugh about that. |

Reposting this from the other thread because this thread seems to have more traffic and I spent a little time on this.
My thoughts on this set:
Ronda- The headscan looks better than it did originally but I still don't like the way the hair mold sits on her head it pretty much looks like she's a bald woman with a wig on. The table is a pretty cool accessory. I'm anxious to see how it looks set up and what the breakaway action is like. I wish the jacket was removable
Eric Young- I LOVE this figure. All the detail is second to none. The tongues of his boots hanging down, unlaced, is just the icing on top. That being said, I don't have much desire for him in my collection. Maybe once we get the rest of Sanity OR MAYBE ONCE HE GETS SOME TV TIME.
Roman Reigns- This is a perfect, quintessential, current Roman Reigns figure. I'll probably wait for it to drop in price before I buy it and then won't have to buy another Roman until he beats cancer and comes back to win the title
Rusev- This figure is a total butter face. It's so perfect in every way except the head. Which is a pretty big deal. The beard is too big, kinda like the new Rollins scan, and honestly the face doesn't really look like him to me. Disappointing cause the rest of this figure is superb. Love the thighs and the way the tights are painted.
I'm already starting to notice that the interchangeable hands are getting out of control. Do we really need them with someone like Rusev? Or Eric Young? I understand it on Shinsuke and Cena and Balor and people with hand taunts but some of these are just unnecessary. Especially the ungloved ones on the WM35 Taker.
Aiden English- The headscan looks beautiful as does the design on the scarf, but I would have liked one of his more intricate attires as far as his tights go. He's had some pretty cool airbrushed ones that would look so sick on a figure. Much like Eric Young, I like this figure but I don't have much desire for him in my collection.
Nia Jax- I don't collect women figures (I literally have zero but might break that streak with the new Carmella in the money attire) but this Nia is maybe one of the best figures Mattel has ever produced. Seriously. All 3 of those headscans are spot on and I love all the detail on the attire. Good work on this one Mattel. You knocked her out of the park. The multiple heads will make this a really sought after figure.
Roman Reigns and possibly Eric Young for me.
All in all though, I really like this set. It shows great promise for the future of this line. The True FX is really easy on the eyes and the interchangeable body parts definitely have great potential.

Not one of my faves tho Nia and Aiden both look great. Not gonna order now but may wait for retail and possibly Aiden or Rusev but I gotta see the Rusev scan in person to really give true judgment

An more open hand looks silly when punching. I think it’s great. A figure can be posed and played with. Much better for stop-motionists for the same reasons. The cool thing for people that want more is that people that don’t want them will likely sell them too. Everyone wins then. Theoretically, you get extra cash/money off your figure, I get extra hands. Interested in your thoughts on that. |

I bought 2 sets of Bludgeons, 1 set to open and the other to keep MOC. I have a feeling that they're going to be one of the best MOC looking figures ever made, Figures wearing the jackets with the Mallets, extra hands and (maybe) the SD Tag Titles next to them. Can't wait. |
