Mama Bear’s house; Los Angeles, CA
“Hey champ! How are you?”
“Hello, Ms. Sleater. I’m doing good, just came back from the gym. What about you?
“That’s good to hear! I’m doing okay as well, thanks.”
The WFWF Vanguard Champion enters her room, exhausted yet energetic at the same time. Her glossy gym shorts are shiny as they reflect off the lights from her blinds. It’s another monthly call from the boss – the one who ultimately decides Mesh’s future.
“So, I have some great news for you!”
Coming from Sleater, that could be a good thing…or a bad thing.
“Umm…”
“Does the name Penny Shannon mean anything to you?”
Mesh’s eyes widen. Memories from her late teens and early days in wrestling start to come back in full force.
“Umm…yes. Why?”
All Sleater can do is laugh.
“At Event Horizon, how does Mesh versus Penny Shannon sound?”
“OH MY GOD!!!” she shouts at the top of her lungs, forcing Kimchi to run for cover, "OH MY GOD!!!"
“Penny’s coming back?!?”
“Yes! She contacted us on the twenty-first, right a-“
“She hasn’t wrestled in…a few years.”
“I know, it certainly startled everyone in the office too!”
“Thank you, Ms. Sleater! Thank you for making one of my dreams come true!”
“Don’t mention it, champ! I’m confident that you two will steal the show!”
Lila Sleater must have been an MMA fighter in a past life. She’s the type that delivers a knockout shot to the face and walks off. A female Mark Hunt. She hangs up the phone, leaving Mesh alone to her thoughts.
She’s facing Penny Shannon.
The Velocity Grrrl.
One of her biggest inspirations.
Standing still in total shock, Mesh immediately shoots Kat a text.
Or two.
Or three.
“What happened? Are you okay??” Mama Bear asks, peaking her head through the door with a look of concern, considering her daughter yelled at the top of her lungs.
Twice.
“Yeah, sorry. I’m okay – I just got some really great news…”

“PENNYTRATOR TIME, A**HOLE!” Penny shouts out as she drives a hard stomp across Trace’s chest, much to the delight to the crowd.
“LET’S GO, PENNY! LET’S GO!”
Clap, clap.

Penny secures Trace between the first and second rope and makes the climb up the opposite turnbuckle. Penny takes a deep breath as the thousands in attendance rise to their feet now as Penny takes the plunge, but in the last minute Trace manages to wiggle himself to the safety of the top rope, leading Penny to crash into the canvass.
The Velocity Grrrl tries to push herself up but is met with the red mist across the eyes, blinding her as Trace follows up with a hard elbow drop from the top rope.
Viciously, Trace drags Penny to the center of the ring, secures the double underhook and breaks her into the canvass with the Demonstration of Hell!
“OH NO!”
Big ovation from the thousands in attendance!
The referee makes the count!

3!
“And the winner of the match, Trace Demon!” The always ravishing Christa Adina shouts into the microphone, her sparkling gold dress glistening under the lights.
“Seizure of Power” resounds across the arena as the referee rushes in and raises Trace’s arms in victory. Trace pushes the wrestler off and stumbles to his feet, looking down at Penny now.
“DAMN IT!!” Mesh’s fists clinched into a ball, sitting on the edge of her seat suddenly leans back in her chair, feeling defeated and deflated. “DAMN IT!!”
“She put up a good fight!” Kat, on the other hand is sitting back in her chair, chill as a cucumber.
“Yeah she did.” Mesh looks disappointed, punching the palm of her hand, “Man, I really wanted Penny to win!”
The rest of the crowd boo and jeer Trace Demon.
Trace rolls out of the ring and makes his way to the back, clutching the back of his head as he tries to shake off the effects from the match.
“YOU SUCK, TRACE!” Mesh shouts at the top of her lungs, now standing from her chair. Her eyes are directed at Trace Demon who walks right past her. “YOU SUCK!!!”

“I don’t like this.”
“I know you don’t, but I have to do this.”
“No, you don’t." Kat grips the steering wheel to her jeep and looks at Mesh who's extremely anxious.
Very uncharacteristic of her.
"F*** her, she tried to ruin Mama Bear’s life and now, she wants to be a part of your life too?”
“I know but trust me, I’m not going to give in to whatever she says." she looks up and makes eye contact with her overprotective, concerned friend.
“I know but trust me, I’m not going to give in to whatever she says." she looks up and makes eye contact with her overprotective, concerned friend.
"I know how much pain she brought to my mom and I’ll never forgive her for that.”
Mesh looks out the window and sees a beautiful place. It looks like paradise, at least that's how Mesh imagines paradise looking like.
“I need closure. After this, I’ll never talk to her again.”
Kat shakes her head in disappointment. She’s only doing this because it’s Mesh. Kat would do anything for her, even if means taking her to the woman that destroyed her mother’s marriage.
She sighs.
“I’ll be right here then.”
Mesh sighs and takes a deep breath.
“Okay, thank you. You're the best.”
Mesh shuts the door of Kat’s jeep that has pulled up to a nearby park. The sun is out and about, shining down with rays of light. Lake Balboa Park is beautiful, seas of cherry blossom trees poke out from under the ground. The grass is a dull green color, but it complements the pink from the trees perfectly.

Wearing a red plaid shirt, black skinny jeans and black combat boots Mesh blends into her surroundings. As the bottom of her boots crunches leaves and twigs, she looks around, observing people in the park.
There’s a young couple walking past the pond where dormant geese lay, and ducks sail around in circles. Off in the distance is a father with his young daughter on his shoulders, taking in the breathtaking view.
Mesh notices the irony too.
An older woman wearing a red raincoat, tosses pieces of bread into the lake as ducks immediately rush towards the savory bits, quacking in approval. Mesh makes her way towards a small wooden table near the lake, under a tree.
A tall blonde woman suddenly appears from the other side of the park. She starts walking towards Mesh. Her wavy hair is almost translucent as the sun glows through it. She has a pretty floral dress on with converse. Her purse looks expensive. Name brand too. The closer she gets; the more Mesh recognizes her. All those memories start coming back to her.
It’s Joy.
“Hello sweetie.” She says in a faint yet raspy voice.
“Hi.”
She goes in for a hug but Mesh leans back, standing apart from Joy with her arms crossed.
“I, uh barely recognized you with that blue hair but those beautiful brown eyes belong to only one person- you.”
Normally, Mesh would blush at such a compliment, but she can’t. Her brain is telling her, don’t you dare.
“Thank you for coming out. I really appreciate you taking the time to talk to me. I’m sure you’re very busy, being as you’re a champion now.”
“Yeah, sure.” Mesh says with little to no enthusiasm or emotion in her voice.
Joy realizes the awkwardness of the situation too, clearing her throat.
“Look, I’m sorry that things went the way they did, sweetie.”
That last sweetie really steamed Mesh’s broccoli.
That's a really cute way of saying, Mesh is getting angry...
“Please don’t call me sweetie.”
“What should I call you then? Champ?”
She isn’t amused. In fact, Mesh is getting even more upset. Her arms underneath the wooden table, she starts to make a fist, her legs shaking as she bites her lip.
“Why now?”
“What do you mean?”
“Now that I’m a champion, I find it funny that everyone from my past decides to come out of hiding and pretend to care about me and my mom.”
“I’m not pretending, I do care about you. I always have.”
“I find that hard to believe.”
Joy ducks her head, sighing relatively loud.
“To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I should have sent that text in the first place-”
“Why did you send it then, and how the hell did you get my number?”
“Your aunt and I still keep in touch. She wrote about your big win on Facebook.”
Villareal family logic: Mesh’s aunt can’t stand her brother’s ex-wife, but she can tolerate the mistress of her brother-in-law? K.
Mesh just nods, she isn’t surprised by that.
“Besides, I think about you from time to time. Ever since William passed, everything changed. My life has never been the same.”
She cocks her forward, making a face.
“And things haven’t been the same for my mom and I?”
“You know what I mean.”
Both women are quiet and so is the rest of the park. Nobody seems to notice the heated discussion going on just a few feet away from a couple walking their bulldog that's probably named Butch.
“I know that you probably hate me for all that happened but all I want is to say I’m sorry. You were too young to understand –“
“I understand everything now. You’re a homewrecker.”
“Your dad came to me first, I didn’t approach him.”
“Like that even matters? You’re the reason why my parents got divorced in the first place!”
Mesh is starting to raise her voice, shattering the glass ceiling that is the quiet stillness of the park.
“Your father was unhappy before he met me, at least that’s what he told me. He was planning on divorcing your mother anyway.”
“That doesn’t change anything!”
“If that's how you feel then why even agree to meet up with me?”
Good question, Joy.
“To be honest, I don’t know. Ever since your text, I’ve been nothing but antsy. That’s all I’ve thought about.”
“I have a big match coming up with somebody that I’ve been a fan of for many years," Mesh says before stopping again, "Someone that I’ve wanted to wrestle for a very long time and I should be at the gym getting ready for it but I’m not.”
“I guess I wanted to say the things I’ve said to your face.”
“Well I’m sorry. I would have really liked to have a positive relationship with you –“
“You wanted to take me from my mom! How the -” Mesh groans, fighting the urge to have a public meltdown. Joy is quiet. She really wants to drop an F bomb but there's kids around. “How were we ever going to have a positive relationship when you tried to take – no, steal me away from my mom!”
“Your father and I thought it was for the best. Your mother was never home, she was always at work.“
“Yeah, to support me! My dad was always giving you his money, leaving my mom and I with nothing!”
“I quit my job, so I could stay home and raise you while your father worked to support us.”
“You quit your job, so you could become a homewrecker!”
“Now, that’s not nice.”
“Nice? You’re the one that has the nerve to act like you did nothing wrong when in reality, you tore my family in half!!” Mesh raises her voice again, almost shouting.
“You knew my dad was married, yet that didn’t stop you did it?”
She can feel her heart pounding through her chest. Her breathing is starting to slow, her head feels like an inflated balloon.
“I fell in love with William, despite his situation. The heart wants what the heart wants.”
“You didn’t love my dad. You married the first guy you met a month after he died.”
A verbal equivalent of a mic drop. Joy is taken aback.
“Yeah, I know about that. Did you really think I wouldn’t find out? My gramma told me everything.”
“I did love your father-“
“Oh, bull-” Mesh says, pounding the table with her two clinched fists, causing the wooden table to shake. Some of the people at the park turn their heads.
“You have no idea what he and I went through!”
“And my mom didn’t go through stuff too??”
Joy is quiet.
“When he died, my mom was working for ten dollars an hour!”
She really emphasizes the monetary value.
“Ten dollars. What are you supposed to do with ten dollars and a three-year old?”
“I don’t know.”
“Exactly so don’t you ever say that you had it bad because you f***ing didn’t!” she shouts but then stops to check and see if anyone heard her…
Numerous phones are pointed right at them, more specifically Mesh.
This is awkward.
She turns and quickly hides her face. People know that it's her now, yet she’s completely blasé. Her heart beats rapidly, she can feel the adrenaline spike in her veins.
“I’m sorry you’re upset. I didn’t think-“
“That seems to be a trend with you – never thinking.”
All emotion has left Joy’s face. She’s heartbroken, looking like she's fighting back tears.
“You ruined my mom's marriage. I will never forgive you for that!"
Joy buries her face in her arms, Mesh gets real close to her.
"Never contact me again.”
Mesh scoots herself off the wooden table with such force that it shakes. The mob of phones back off in fear as she walks past them in a blind rage. Some stragglers give chase to the blue haired pixie, tailing her with their phones leading the way. She huffs and puffs, catching her breath as a sharp ringing deafens her. All she can hear is her rapid breathing, she can feel the eyes of those watching her as if they were sharp daggers.
Kat waits patiently in her jeep, sitting with her arms crossed as the last few minutes of Spiderbaby (Yeah-Yeah-Yeah) blasts through her speaker. Her eyes and closed, her head bobs slightly back and forth, losing herself in that amazing riff until she looks out to her right and sees a blue haired pixie being followed by a nosy crowd.
“F***!”
She reaches across the opens the passenger’s side door, Mesh sees this and picks up the pace. She hurls herself into the car with the crowd getting really close to Kat’s jeep. Some of the amateur paparazzi recognize Kat and immediately start pointing at her.
She turns to face the crowd who are still recording. She holds her hand out and points a finger right back at them.
It’s not the index or pinkie or the ring or the thumb, it's the one you put up when you don't give a f***.
“Record this, motherf***ers!”
The jeep roars away from the crowd in a frenzy, leaving them stunned as smoke from the exhaust pipe spits onto them.
The doors to Mama Bear Castle barge open, a distraught and distressed Mesh walks into her mother’s arms and hugs her. News of her freakout has traveled extremely fast as her mother was already waiting by the door.
“I love you.”
“I love you too, sweetie.”
The only person that’s allowed call Mesh sweetie. She gently pats Mesh’s head as she holds her daughter close.
“I love you so much.” Mesh says, almost muffled due to the side of her face leaning against her mother’s chest.
“I told you not to go but I’m glad you did.”
“Why?” Mesh says, looking up at her mother.
“Because now, you’ve seen it all with your own eyes.”
Kat walks in behind Mesh, slowly closing the door. Her usual deadpan look is now a look of concern. She walks over to the living room, pacing back-and-forth with her arms interlocked.
“Whatever she told you, just know it isn’t true.”
“I know. You did everything to support me.”
Mama Bear notices Kat not looking like her usual self.
“Are you okay, Kat?”
By now, Kat found a seat on the khaki colored couch, her head down with her arms crossed. She quickly looks up and makes eye contact with Mama Bear.
“Yeah, I’m…fine.”
“You sure? According to Facebook, you flipped off the entire mob of fans that recorded the whole thing.”
Kat just smiles.
“I did, and I feel bad…only because it made Mel look bad.”
With her arm around Mesh, they both walk over to Kat and sit next to her, sandwiching the redhead between mother and daughter.
“I’ll always appreciate you for taking care of my baby when you two were on the road,” Mama Bear puts her arm around Kat as well, “As far as I’m concerned, you were just looking out for her today as well.”
“I always let my temper get the best of me.”
“Don’t beat yourself up over this – it happens.”
Mesh’s face is an uncomfortable one. There’s a slight constant buzzing emerging from her pocket. Mama Bear and Kat can hear it too.
“My phone’s blowing up! What do I do??”
“Nothing. You just have to ride this out. Give it a day or two and then apologize.”
“I should be the one that apologizes.”
"That's so...not you, dude."
Kat makes a face.
“It’s okay, this is the first Mel has really done…anything like this before so it shouldn't affect her too much.”
“Once they hear the full story, I think people will come around, although some people will never let you live this down.”
“Yeah, I know.”
“Besides, it’s not like you hit her or anything. You just yelled and said a few f words – I hear that kind of talk every day coming from you!”
Mesh giggles. Mama Bear smiles at the sight of her daughter.
“There’s worse things that could’ve happened. Just ride it out for now and issue a statement – make a vlog about it, actually.”
“I’m sorry that…all of this happened.” She turns her head and looks at Kat.
“No dude, I’m sorry.” Kat turns her head and looks at Mesh.
Mama Bear swing her arms around so they’re both wrapped around Mesh and Kat.
“You two sometimes manage to get yourselves into some sort of trouble but...”
The tension is surreal.
“You also manage to get yourselves out of it. This is no different.”
Both women laugh as her mother turns and looks at her blue haired daughter.
“Next time though – really listen to what Kat and I tell you. We’ve been through stuff, man.”
All three women laugh.
"Thanks, mom."
"Don't mention it, sweetie."

Gramma Kari’s trailer; Los Angeles, CA
Penny follows after him, scaling up the sides where Carter intercepts, knocking her with stiff kicks across the side. Penny pushes him off and gingerly makes it to the second platform where Carter Contra meets her with more shoot kicks. Penny fights back with shoot kicks of her own. The two continued to exchange kicks until one kick too many forced them both to stumble away from each other. Giving themselves a moment to deal with the sting across their shins, Penny and Carter collide into each other again- Carter with a clothesline that Penny counters with a hurricanrana, but Carter catches her and goes for the hurricanrana, but Penny fights back. Carter now stumbles too closely to the ledge and with one final blow straight into Carter Contra's nose, Penny Shannon hooks herself over and nails the hurricanrana, sending the two of them crashing two stories down to the thumbtack ball-pit!

“OH MY GOD! DID YOU SEE THAT, GRAMMA?!”
Gramma Kari just nods her head, taking a sip from her plastic cup, filled with Pepsi. The old-time wrestling fan isn’t too impressed with the craziness of modern wrestling. It was much more believable back in her day, but nothing brings her more joy than watching wrestling with her only granddaughter.
Melanie sits in her own chair – The Throne; a red and gold antique chair from the 70s that her grandmother would always grab for her from the back room. That was where Melanie and her grandmother watched, discussed and later broke down what they had just watched on Gramma Kari’s small TV.
“What are you two watching?!” Mama Bear chimes in, laying on the couch besides Gramma Kari’s recliner. Mama Bear used to watch wrestling with her daughter when she was younger but her interest in the sport had waned.
“It’s Penny against Carter Contra!”
“I know that but…why are they fighting outside?”
“Because this is the Ultraviolent Playground! Duh!”
The 'Awwwwwwwooooooooh!!!' from the crowd perfectly captured just how sick the spot is: Carter Contra crashed into the thumbtack ball pit, screaming in complete agony as Penny crashed over him, screaming herself as she landed, sinking Carter Contra deeper into the thumbtack ball pit. Carter's legs dangle upwards, shaking. Convulsing, Penny swims herself to the other-side, pushing herself off the thumbtack ball-pit. Slumping to the ground, Penny shakes as appropriately armored referees reach into the ball-pit to reel Carter Contra out.
“YEAH, PENNY! WOO!” Melanie nearly jumps out of her chair, startling her mother.
“It’s stuff like this that makes me regret letting you go to wrestling school…”
Melanie’s eyes remain glued to the television, not ignoring her mother but not acknowledging her either.
“They don’t have…Ultraviolent Playgrounds in GSW, do they?”
With a light in her eye, she responds with such enthusiasm in her voice, “Unfortunately, no.”
“Unfortunately!?”
“This match is over! Get him out of the ring!” shouts Referee Dean Phoenix. Penny stumbles back now to the Thumbtack Ball-pit and pushes away the referees. Officials scrambles in all directions as Penny jumps up, bounces off a referees shoulders and takes into the air one more time with her patented Liberty Cap, the jumping stomp to the back of Carter Contra's head, damn near killing him as he sinks into the thumbtack-ballpit.
Penny hops out of the thumbtack ball pit and shouts into the air, raising her hands. Bikini Kill's "Rebel Girl" playing once again. The camera zooms close on Penny who takes a fresh light-tube with a grin on her face.
“The world is mine!”
And just like that, Penny breaks the light-tube over the cameraman's head, who falls perfectly on his back. Penny holds up the shards as she continues to grin.
“WHOA!”
“What is wrong with her?”
“Nothing, she’s awesome!”
“The world is mine, you f***ing bungholes!”

From the Hickenbottom Report:
Stop the presses! We have some hot news for all wrestling fans. WFWF superstar Mesh is in the news... and it's not the usual positive stuff the Good Vibes Tribe is famous for. Mesh had a public blow-up leaving even the most diehard fans shaking their heads. Mesh's former tag team partner and the former AWF Television Champion, Katharsis, added fuel to the fire when she flipped off the mob of Mesh fans! Following her infamous dispute with management which led to her walking out from the AWF in 2016, Katharsis has kept a low profile. Click the link below to see the full video. Who was that and what did she do with the Mesh we've all come to know and love?
It makes me wonder if the bubbly blue haired pixie who took the WFWF by storm is starting crack under the pressure of being the first ever Vanguard Champion? Could this be the opening that her mysterious tormentor is looking for? And while we're talking about her mystery tormentor let's be honest. Anybody who has followed the indies over the past decade can put two and two together to figure out who this mystery figure is. We're not gonna' do it for you.
Be sure to check back for more updates on the increasingly volatile situation centered around Mesh.

Hey guys, it’s Mesh.
So, I’m pretty sure you’ve all heard the news already…
About my little…blowup at the park.
….not my best moment.
She sighs.
I’m not going to sit here and make excuses or anything, that’s not who I am.
I did what I did, and I want to apologize for it.
I’m sorry to those that were hurt.
I’m normally not like that, it was just a bad situation that I put myself in.
I would never talk like that to any of my fans.
Members of the Good Vibe Tribe know that.
Mama Bear and Kat both told me not to go but I did.
For those that don’t know what happened, I decided to meet up with my dad’s mistress, homewrecker, affair – whatever you want to call her.
There are years of…anger there and I just couldn’t control myself.
I blew up and I said things that I shouldn’t have.
Not publicly anyway.
Kat did flip off some of the people there, some of which were big fans of mine, I found out later.
It was just a big mess altogether and I’m so sorry to those that were hurt.
I know talk is cheap, so I only hope that my actions will show everyone who I really am.
Again, I’m sorry to those that were hurt by what I did.
She pauses.
Funny how all of this happened when I’m wrestling PENNY F’N SHANNON.
Ohmygod!
The mere thought of me wrestling her just….I dunno.
Gets my blood flowing?
This is something I’ve wanted forever but never thought it would happen.
When I think of the wrestlers that inspired me the most as a kid, it was La Pantera Negra.
She looked so cool and she beats everyone she wrestled.
I’ve even met her a couple of times, once when I was just a little kid.
I know the little games that she’s been playing with me lately, but I really wish she would just come out and show herself.
As…annoyed as I am with her straight up hatred of me, maybe a match where I beat her will make her…I dunno, like me again?

At Event Horizon, I'm calling you out!
Mesh stares into the camera.
Anyway, as I got older and became more and more of a fan, two other women inspired me: Scarlett Quinn and Penny Shannon.
I’ve been a fan of hers since…before I even came to the WFWF! I was at Show Time, right in the front row when she wrestled Trace Demon. I’ve never been so invested in a match, ask Kat – she’ll tell you!
I went to Battle at the Garden with some of the people I trained with, that’s where she beat DevilKiller.
I went there with some of the guys I trained with; Ronnie, Sal and JD.
Fun fact: I was that blonde girl with the “I <3 Penny” sign that she kissed after her match.
I was nineteen at the time and umm….I fainted.
Quick smile.
Seriously.
Ronnie freaked out.
Mesh giggles, her eyes looking out into the distance.
Ronnie was a lot like Kat, but this was before I met her.
He was always looking out for me, saying that he wasn’t going to let the wrestling business “ruin me”.
He was such a good dude.
I miss those days sometimes.
Going up and down the road in a crappy van with three, four other wrestlers. Wrestling in front of a few hundred people for barely any money.
She sighs.
I haven’t thought about my indy days in a while and considering what’s happened recently, it certainly helps keep my mind off things.
Anyway, back to Penny…
So yeah, I’ve been a fan of hers for one, hot minute.
You guys know me, I’m just super hyped to face off against one of my inspirations.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to win.
Beating someone like Penny will only continue to show everyone that I’m not a joke.
Even if Penny does go away again, at least I’ll be able to say that I wrestled The Velocity Grrrrrrl.
When I first joined the WFWF, I was asked by my girl Kay-Kay about what goals I wanted to accomplish.
I said: I’ve never main evented a show and I’ve never won a championship.
Well, I’ve done both of those, which I still find hard to believe sometimes.
But now, I’m adding more goals to my list.
1: Wrestle Penny Shannon.
2: Wrestle La Pantera Negra
3. If Scarlett Quinn ever comes back….wrestle her too.
4: Somehow, convince Kat to join the WFWF. I know she’ll do good here.
That last one might be the toughest, but the WFWF deserves to have someone like her in the company!
Kat’s a much better wrestler, better talker – better everything.
I, for one would love to see the return of The Brimstone Slugger!
Spitfire’s return!
Her eyes light up, almost sparkling at the mere thought of her best friend coming back.

Yeah, she hates those nicknames...
but I just really want to see her back, doing what she does best: kick ass!
I will convince her though. I will.
At Event Horizon, I’m in one of the biggest matches of my career – this is Breakout level big!

Oh wait - we know what happened at Breakout...
It’s so sad that Shugs isn’t with the company anymore, he would’ve loved this show being that it’s a sci-fi themed show.
I’ll try and make him proud of me.
Win, lose or draw, I got to wrestle PENNY F’N SHANNON.
A selfie afterwards would be nice too.
She giggles again.
That’s it from me, everyone. I feel like this vlog is kinda me just rambling, but I really want to say I’m sorry again for what happened this weekend.
It won’t happen again.
I’ll never put myself in a situation like that ever.
I never want to disappoint any of my fans again.
I love you all infinitely.
Byeeeeeeeeeeee!
With her signature farewell, Mesh blows a kiss into the camera and ends the vlog.

Madison Square Garden; New York City, NY
“THE PENNYTRATOR!”
Penny drags DevilKiller to the center of the ring and places her boot over his chest, raising her hand into the air as the referee makes the three count.
1…
2…
3…
“Here us your winner, Penny Shannon!”
“Fast and Freighting” rips into the arena as Penny keeps herself where she is, as fireworks begin to erupt across from all four corners of the ring.
Penny slips out of the ring, panting now as she smiles knowing that she fought well tonight. Penny makes her way up the isle, high fiving whatever fans are closest to her.
Mid-way up the isle, a cute blonde girl is holding up a “I <3 Penny” sign. Penny reaches over the security rail and lays a big kiss on the strange girl’s lips. Penny keeps the kiss for a good moment and then pulls herself away. Running her finger over her lips, Penny smirks and walks through the curtain.
The cute sign-girl faints.
“Hey Mel, are you okay?”
No response.
“Mel? MEL!?”
I’ll try and make him proud of me.

This baby’s got a temper, you’ll never tame her....
