Announced tonight at The Game Awards! It's a Switch exclusive too, being published by Nintendo.
I'll look for the trailer and add it.

Looks great! I love that it’s a Nintendo Switch exclusive. I will happily support it.

I really want to support this as I really enjoyed the first game, but I hate when companies take a series that was multiplat and make it system exclusive. What a good way to turn away a large portion of the fanbase just because they don't own a Switch.

Just like we'd never have seen Bayonetta 2, because Sony and Microsoft didn't want it, so Nintendo picked up publishing with Platinum Games. And we're getting Bayonetta 3 because of Nintendo.

Is there any proof to that? Not saying you're wrong because you're probably not, but Nintendo also has all that sweet Wii money to make financial decisions like this.
Also don't see how it's ever a good thing for a game to be exclusive to a system. Marvel is a much bigger license than Bayonetta ever will be that I'm sure it wouldnt have just been turned down by most other publishers, especially in this day and age. It's just as annoying as Spider-Man being a ps4 exclusive.

So for the game to be PS4 exclusive makes every bit of sense. *https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/marvel-ultimate-alliance-3-the-black-order-switch That link, at the bottom of the page, you'll see this:Platform: Nintendo Switch Release Date: 2019 No. of Players: up to 4 players Category: Action, Role-Playing Publisher: NintendoDeveloper: KOEI TECMO GAMES / Team NINJA ESRB: Visit www.esrb.org for more ratings information. It sat dormant for 10 years. Other publishers had more than enough opportunity to snatch it up and make the game and have it be multi-platform. They didn't. Nintendo did, and they're the only reason we're even getting the game.

Nintendo did, and they're the only reason we're even getting the game. Only sat dormant for two years. The first two games were rereleased in 2016 with a few minor changes. There's still nothing that really says no one else wanted it even if it is likely Activision just stopped caring about it because, well...they're Activision. Having a completely new developer does lend to the theory, but right now it's still just that. Like, I'm not completely knocking on the game. Team Ninja make good games like Nioh and Other M (from a gameplay perspective anyway) and if they add some of my favourite characters I'll pretend I was never triggered and get it promptly. I just have a pet peeve I suppose. Also, yeah, I completely blanked on the fact that sony has the rights to Spiderman. Sometimes game and movie rights are different, but yeah, that makes sense.

Yeah but as far as a new entry, the series sat for almost a decade. And no one had any interest in continuing the series, namely original publisher Activision. So Nintendo grabbed publishing rights.

Finally got a reason for my Switch to stop being a professional dust collector. I'm so down with some Ultimate Alliance.

Well, they did the one thing that would win me over: put the Fantastic Four in the game. Even if it's going to be as DLC.

Glad they're going to add more X-Men too. I think right now it's Wolverine, Beast, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Magneto and I guess Scarlet Witch.

I got the game but barely played it since I've mainly been playing Skyrim.
I'll finish it eventually. I saw they added Colossus and Cyclops so that is cool. I'm a big fan of X-Men.
Anyone else liking the game so far?

Seeing as this is Nintendo Switch exclusive & i don't own a Switch, it makes me miss Marvel Heroes Omega even more.. I played Omega a few good years ago when it was nearing the end of it's life cycle on the Xbox until the servers finally shut down that one fateful day, oh how i miss riding through the grocery stores on those random street maps as Ghost Rider on his hell cycle just like my dads crazy drunk friend rode his motorcycle through Woolworths back in the 80's.. good times, his legend will live on!.. <;'}
