I got it pretty much day one I think; I really really liked it, for what it was it was fun af and a good alternative to the WWE games.

I enjoyed it. The X Division matches were always most fun

I recently played this for the first time in over 10 years. It’s actually a really good game and I always enjoyed it back in the day. I loved it because it was the first game with Sting in it since the WCW games. The gameplay was nowhere near as good as the SvR games tho.

The graphics have aged pretty well for the most part - they had some solid foundations, some of the matches were super fun, with a few more variations more additions like GM mode etc could have been a great game with more additions to the series but didnt really happen. Hopefully AEWs game gives 2k a boot up the backside and does well.

I remember playing through the story mode. Went on for a good while and was an interesting story considering how different it was for the time.
On the other hand, the AI was brutal. I remember it taking an hour or longer just to beat Styles or Jarrett at the end of the game.
The graphics are easily the highlight of the game and the additional video content (behind the scenes, first ever TNA match and Midway Exclusive matches) was a plus.
