I won't argue that. But that is the problem. Vick WAS the offense. Vick should have been leading that offense, not a one man show. They failed to teach him how to pass, which would have made him an effective weapon. Instead, he didn't put the effort in to become a good quarterback, nor learn how to read defenses. Sure, we piled up lots of rushing yards essentially running the option. But, when we REALLY needed the yards, we could never get them, because they would force us to beat them through the air, which we could never do. Vick had all the talent in the world to be a great quarterback, but his lack of work ethic and stupidity put an end to that. Now we have a team built around a one man show, which was a mistake to begin with, and now that one man show isn't even there anymore. Unfortunately, it's going to take us a few years to build a real football team.

Orlando Pace might miss the year, yikes Yeah, very unfortunate. I think Adam Goldberg, my neighbor who used to teach me how to play when I was about 5 years old, is going to replace him. At least, I think he replaced him during the game... Goldberg is no where near the talent that Pace is, but he's definitely servicable. I think he would prefer to play right tackle or either guard position over left tackle, but I think he will be OK.

I'm still really pissed that the Eagles lost. I'll try to enjoy watching games tomorrow though. dude, it's one game. the eagles will be fine. haha. I know, but it's the way they lost. Their defense owned the Packers for the most part and they have nothing to show for it. The Eagles should have taught Greg Lewis the basics of punt returning, because he looked like a guy who had never seen anyone return a punt before. And seeing what Lewis did, you would think J.R. Reed would know not to dive for a punt when it's not necessary at all. And I'd like to know what the the Eagles see in Correll Buckhalter. 5 yards on 4 carries yesterday for him is a good game. He's horrible, I wish he was released.

Like Tim said, their punt returning problems were because of laziness in the coaching staff, and not giving the players who returned the punts adequete time to familiarize themselves with the position.

Like Tim said, their punt returning problems were because of laziness in the coaching staff, and not giving the players who returned the punts adequete time to familiarize themselves with the position. I agree with that statement on Greg Lewis. They obviously didn't put enough time into it. But any idiot (apparently not J.R. Reed) should know that you don't dive for a punt when you are surrounded by five opposing players.

So tim, what do you see the Eagles doing this week? If we can fix the Special Teams problems, we should be decent, but the offense needs to play better.

Oh yeah Bengals vs Ravens Tonight, Ill be there, I got season tickets... I think I'd go to a Monday night game if I had the chance... But not a Sunday game. I prefer to watch football at home so I can watch numerous games at once.

Everyone's too hung up in Matt Leinart hype, I expect San Fran will easily win this game with the better all round team and additions in the offseason.

man I am in pumped for the Ravens/Bengals game. If Baltimore wins this one they could have a pretty long winning streak.
