The At Bats the Red Sox have already wasted on him is going to cost them a shot at the playoffs. So Nomar got a WS Ring from 2004 even though he was traded? I thought to get a ring, you need to have appeared in at least 2 games in the season and still be with the team on the last day. Why would you have to be with the team on the last day? Because that means the player is still with the team. I guess Carlos Delgado got a WS ring in 1993?

The Cubs put in a waiver claim on Scott Podsednik and could be attempting to work out a trade for the left fielder.
If acquired, Podsednik would probably become the Cubs' primary left fielder and leadoff man until Alfonso Soriano returns. He'd figure to have a diminished role and value if Soriano could return in September. The White Sox could call up Ryan Sweeney to take over in left field, though perhaps not until he proves he's over a sore wrist. Aug. 10 - 1:55 pm et Source: Chicago Tribune

He'd do fine in San Diego, a terrible hitters park might be the only thing that saves him because he sucks that bad

Astros need a lot more than the Padres little bud Ralpho if it werent for the fact that 90% of your posts were meaningless little cheap shots intended to argue like this one i would get upset. However as i said many times, its a tired act already... I was laughing at the thought of both on the same team since at the start of the season its not expected. im just gonna take Krushs Advice and not explain myself anymore, im just gonna quote you and say " You" starting now when your posts are annoying.

Pods can steal a bag, which is an upgrade over a select few bums we chuck out there in LF every here and there, so I say go for it.

Great game tonight. Hughes was great after the first. He threw only 17 balls in his last 5 innings. He looked like he was getting tired around the end he was leaving some balls up. Chamberlain looked filthy. 4 k's in 2 innings. He reached 99 a few times. Overall nice performance.
