lol. steve stone is actually a really good announcer. Shame that DJ will be replacing him next week. He's FAR superior then Hawk and Jackson combined.

the greatest stories of the year would have to be ankiel coming back as an outfielder, dimitri young with the nationals, and jon lester returning from cancer.
i'll be at the game on Tuesday when lester pitches his first game at fenway, since his return. it's going to be insane the ovation he's gonna get.

Lester needs to go back to AAA, wonderful story and all but hes God awful this year, he never should have been brought up in the first place. Let him get his standing O on Tuesday then send him down.

well right now I'd rather have Lester starting rather than Tavarez, I like Tavarez as the long man and mop up for the Sox. Who would we replace Lester with, we don't have Gabbard anymore, and I don't see them calling up either Hansack or Pauley.

Hansack, Pauley, ing Buchholz, Snyder all better than this kid. He is not ready, his contract is awful and he is going to get rocked each time out. He is a liability. Great story, but send him down

A Game of Roger Clemens MVP Baseball I would pass up sex for. It's pretty close, but I'd go for the game aswell. Bitches come and go, Roger Clemens MVP baseball is here to stay.

I didn't think of Snyder, if we sent down Lester, he's the guy I'd want in the rotation.

Ankiel is a great story. I hope they keep him up because he can be productive. Hes come a long way since that awful night in the playoffs.
Clemens suspended 5 games for beaning Rios. I dont know if it was reported yet.

A-Rod was fined, lol. Apparently you're supposed to take the pitcher out for a steak dinner when he intentionally throws at your knees.

uh-oh, A rod won't be able to light cigars with thousand dollar bills for a few days now..
Matt Stairs was sitting on the gatorade tub on the edge of the dugout the inning after the 1st bench clearing. Looking right at him at 3rd base lol

He could ignore it and just move on because he's making millions? Nobody forced him to give Towers Attention If they want to throw a pitch behind him, that's one thing. Going after his knees because of a play that happened 3 months ago is just intellectually- disabled. I don't care if he is making a billion dollars or league minimum...trying to injure someone is the same thing no matter the dollar amount on your contract.

Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh he wasnt going for his knees, he was aiming below the belt which is actually the right move for when you throw at someone.
My point is if he wanted to be a tough guy, drop the bat. Hes a bitch anyways, dont try to defend him on that because hes been one for years.

Matt Stairs would up A-rod so bad.

It's easy to sit there and say that since the top hitters on your team never get thrown at, much less even brushed off the plate. I'm not expecting anyone to feel sorry for A-Rod, I just think the fact that he was penalized at all is stupid when it's not like there were even any punches thrown.

Matt Stairs would up A-rod so bad. I was hoping Farnsworth was just going to come running out of the bullpen and bullrush somebody. Doesn't even matter who, he just needed to someone up. Not only for pure entertainment, but mainly because he would have gotten suspended from it.
