Scott Erickson Part II. Joe Torre, Brian Cashman. If we're not calling up Joba or Britton or even Edwar Ramirez, I would have rather just kept Myers.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Red Sox call upon Myers again, unfortunately.

I think the Yankees will trade him and get whatever they can. Myers will be able to help a contender down the stretch if he can get his craptogether and start getting out lefties again. To be honest, I think Torre and Guidry screwed up his mechanics and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to another team and finds his stuff again.

What mechanics? He throws one way and is only supposed to throw to lefties

JIM IGN BROWER??!??! what the ! Watch Torre use him right away in a close game. Hes going to trust him from the start and hes going to ing blow it just like Scott Erickson did on a constant basis.

Yeah, that's the problem. Guidry had him start moving to different sides of the rubber and it got to a point where 4 Rings rarely brought Myers into face one lefty. He'd leave him in there to face righties, too, which was the reason I was always worried when we first signed Myers. Joe has no idea how to manage a normal relief pitcher, much less a lefty specialist. He's already thrown more innings this year than he threw all of last year and in 2005.

I don't mind outright releasing myers if Britton was brought up...
Here is a valid question. Kyle Farnsworth is the worst reliever on this team. Why is he still on the roster?

Even better... I just got the answer to that from Green Tea Guy himself...
"I think he just needs to have a couple of good outings," Torre said. "He's been around a while, and you see signs of stuff. His slider and his fastball are powerful pitches for him. He just needs to locate on a regular basis, and I think once he gets a couple of good outings under his belt, [he will be fine]."

So once Glavine gets 300, that is probably it for a long long long time, maybe for our lifetimes Pedro Martinez was the closet, if he didnt get hurt, 33 when he went to the NL, and hes at 206 now, if he was the Pedro of old for 2-4 more games he'd be at 260-270 before he turned 38. Anyways, so now the possibilities for 300: Barry Zito Age 29 110 Wins Mark Buerhele Age 28 106 wins CC Sabathan Age 26 95 wins Lets say Zito pitches 11-13 more years....soft tossing lefty can pitch past 40. Its gonna be tough for both Zito and Burherle, both have been very healthy. Sabathia is probably the best bet, but hes fat so hes bound to get hurt After this season, the YankMes will sign Chicken Chow Mein Wang to a 13-year, $169 million contract and he will be the next pitcher to win 300 games in 2020. nyyrocks=dafilthymofo?
