are people seriously complaining about them releasing an Undisputed Era 3-pack? I'm legitimately starting to become embarrassed at being a part of this community. This isn't opinion, these are facts- 1. Nobody is forcing you to buy it. 2. It's not taking the place of some other amazing 3 pack of repaints. 3. It doesn't ing matter what the name of the pack is called. 4. We're getting 3 debut figures of guys in the company whom a lot of people are fans of. No different than literally anybody else on the roster. I'm a big fan of the Epic Moments concept. By putting a random faction in the line, it's a way of just saying "here's 3 guys in a box" and not being true to the concept. I don't want them to do that. I want them to all be literally moments that are of great significance. Otherwise why not just bring back the generic Walmart 3 packs? But what does it really matter? Every line and name of that line is simply a way for Mattel to market and sell their product to make money. And you, as the consumer, choose to either buy said product or not. That's the be-all, end-all of it. Comments like yours make coming to this board incredibly frustrating at times. Enjoy the figures you like, and ignore the ones you don't. And to address a previous comment, just like there are people like you who prefer the entertainment aspect over the in-ring, there are people like me who wake up to watch Night 4 of the G1 Climax. There is room and toys enough for both of us.

Did a search and couldn't find answers so here we go:
1) Are those diecast cars/trucks/vehicles coming with figures? Or are they like the old WCW/nWo Hot Wheel Cars? I think the latter, but was curious.
2) Why do the protos for the Retro Michaels, Angle, Sheamus, and Jericho look...off? They don't look like they belong with the actual retro line. I know it's protos, but something about them (dimensions? cartoony?) look weird. Is that the style they're going with from this point forward?

When I first heard about the Epic Moments line, I got really excited thinking of the great moments throughout WWE history that could be memorialized in figure form. The modern equivalent of the Job Squad was not exactly what I had in mind -- infact it wasn't even in the top 1000. So yes I have every reason to be upset, especially when the tide is overwhelmingly turning towards one type of fan and if I don't speak up Mattel will think that's all people want.

"Wrestling nerd" and smart mark aren't necessarily the same thing. Not everyone who loves wrestling cares about 5'10" guys doing flippy moves--theres more to the artform then that, a lot more infact. Not only is Undisputed Era an embarassingly bad choice for Epic Moments (seriously what did they do that was epic? have "good matches"? who cares?) but it shows that MDT is getting irritatingly smarky for my tastes, and I'm sure many others as well. War Games was pretty epic. The first time the match took place at a WWE event and it delivered. In name only, by no means did that match capture the essence of the old War Games. It was a very good cage match, but it wasn’t “War Games” to me.

I think I'm gonna sit this one out and spectate from Instagram where I don't have to read the commentary. Seriously, this has been a embarrasing read so far.

You would think this forum would be more peaceful. Bad enough we get a lot of crap from people for being wrestlig fans. Let alone collecting toys. Should be happy to be able to engage in conversation with people who share the same passion as you. I wish everyone on here would take this on board.

It was a very good cage match, but it wasn’t “War Games” to me. It was more "War Games" than anything WCW did during their dying days. And what essence are you talking about? It didn't have a roof & had the 1998-Esque Line Up of 3 Vs. 3 Vs. 3 instead of the usual 4 Vs. 4.

You do know that other people have access to figures right? Like, they're not just making the entire line for you. "If I don't speak up Mattel will think that's all people want" might be the worst comment in this thread. Don't like it? Don't buy it.

It was a very good cage match, but it wasn’t “War Games” to me. If they do it again, hopefully they do 4 on 4 with alternating participants. They probably should’ve had Strong team with Sanity and UE recruit someone on their team and leave AOP out of the match. That being said, it still had the essence of War Games to me. I didn’t mind the changes to the format to accommodate a triple threat.

If it was the main elite line I could understand.

And I'm betting they stick to that going forward, to "uniquely brand it" to use awful corporate speak. Wouldn't be surprised to see British Strong Style -vs- Undisputed Era -vs- War Raiders & Ricochet this year.

It's not ignorant. They perform in NXT which is WWE's minor league. Meaning...? Meaning there's nothing epic about what they do. They're minor leaguers. If the name doesn't matter then why have 8-10 lines? That's boring. They just blend into each other that way.
