WFWF presents: Breakout LIVE from TD Garden in Boston
The WFWF presents a night of matches where the rookies test their mettle against the veterans. Who will score the break out win that catapults their career to the next level? The Main Event!--------------------------------------------------- Frank Lynn vs. MeshMesh may have two wins to her name but they have come the hard way at the hands of Hamilton K. Clarke and Ryan "Needles" Payne. Nothing brought home the harsh reality of the WFWF that winning isn't always everything more than her very own tweets of the damage Payne inflicted when he broke her nose. Will Mesh still be LOLing after she gets her big break in the main event against one of the hardest hitting technicians on the roster: the reigning International Champion Frank Lynn. Lynn is trying to regain the trust of the fans who supported his revolution all those months ago by being a "fighting champion". He was up to the task when he staved off his first challenger, Mak Cross. Now he has to take on the effervescent enthusiasm of a popular newcomer quickly rising up the ranks. It's Frank Lynn vs Mesh in a non-title match! Will Frank continue to prove he deserves to be champion or will Mesh be posting more LOL tweets after scoring the upset win? Did we mention that Boston is Frank Lynn's hometown? He's gonna' be fired up for this one! Ruthless Aggression!--------------------------------------------------- David Brennan vs. Ryan "Needles" PayneRyan "Needles" Payne made quite the impression in his debut at End Time. He showed that he will fit right in with the ultra-violent tactics that are a trademark of most WFWF superstars when he attacked Mesh with a baseball bat. Sure, he lost by DQ but if you go by appearances he came out looking more like a winner than Mesh did, what with her broken nose gushing blood all over the arena. Now "Needles" gets his chance to score a break out victory as he takes on the World Champion David Brennan in a non-title fight. And it is sure to be a fight. David Brennan has been THE dominant force in the WFWF for over two years, showing no signs of slowing down when he defeated Kyzer in a bloody, brutal brawl that included a dragon and a crazed karate kid. Watch out Mr. Payne. David Brennan is a man known for not pulling his punches. Payne could be entering a whole new world of pain in this match. Or he could shock the f*cking world. One way or the other, we expect this one to be a hard hitting affair that the loser could be leaving on a stretcher. Did we mention that Boston is David Brennan's hometown? He's gonna' be fired up for this one! The Return of the Bloodied Eagle!--------------------------------------------------- Ante Whitner vs. Reina KenshinLast time we saw Ante Whitner in a scheduled match, he was playing with fire... literally! Who can forget the flaming barb-wire match between Ante Whitner and Phillip Schneider, one of the most vicious matches in WFWF history? Now it's newcomer Reina Kenshin's turn to play with fire as she gets her break out opportunity against the former National and Golden Opportunity champion. Reina showed that she has no respect for past WFWF superstars when she threw water on and slapped Cameron Stone in front of the MSG crowd. Ante Whitner won't be disrespected so easily as he will want to score a victory in his return match and get back into the title picture that Frank Lynn rather rudely removed him from when he "stole" the Golden Opportunity Championship. The biggest question entering this match is how is Ante's health. Is he still held together by chewing gum and paper clips or has the time off allowed him to heal? Ante will need to be at his best to counter Reina Kenshin, who makes no bones about the fact that she enjoys hurting her opponents. Roleplay Deadline: Sunday June 17th, 2018 at 11:59 PM EST Promo/Match/Segment Deadline: Thursday June 21st, 2018 at 11:59 PM EST

Only three matches but they should be good. I am looking forward to seeing which of the rookies responds to the challenge so get to writing peeps.
I'm going to assume @ballparkb0b wants to write the main event. If anyone wants to write either of the other matches, reply below. Otherwise, yours truly will take care of it.

This is a great card. All three matches have almost nauseatingly clear favorites and equally clear underdogs, but the chance to usurp one of the top guys in the WFWF is always a tantalizing prospect. Come on, rooks.

Come on, rooks. It was exactly this type of scenario that gave me the push I needed last year. I drew Trace Demon for a match and was almost positive I was eating the loss. I put in my best effort and guess what? I won. It was without a doubt the turning point in Frank Lynn's career.

Not to slight you or my old running mates Ante and Bren, but if all three rookies upset the three of you this show that'd turn the place on its head. That being said, with Lynn in back pedal, suit up or shut up mode with the title he should have put it on the line against Mesh. How better to prove you're a fighting champion than defending the title against all challengers?

How better to prove you're a fighting champion than defending the title against all challengers? I'm gonna be both honest and provide a little glimpse behind the scenes of how this new owner thinks with regards to title shots. I like the idea of reflecting real life pro wrestling in that a wrestler frequently fights the reigning champ one or more times before getting an actual title match. It's part earning the opportunity, part building up the suspense of the chase, and part a return to having a "big show" every four months or so for payoff matches. I think CM Poor agrees with me on the last point as he has mentioned having big event shows to me in PMs. It's something we planted the seeds for with the hype for the MSG show and will be repeating with the London show that ends the World Domination tour. There's also some concern with regards to new members that they might disappear after a few months and it sucks to have to deal with a vacated title. I'm not saying @ballparkb0b is going to cut and run because I firmly believe he is in it for the long haul but he does have to earn his stripes. All that being said, if Mesh knocks off Frank Lynn you can be sure there will be a rematch sooner rather than later and the title will be on the line, just like what happened with Mak Cross.

My concern with the world title only goes as far as what Drakz, Kyzer, and myself are working on. Beyond that, Dex can have it back for all I can care, as long as I don't have to write Brennan anymore.

That's why I kinda post later, haha.

Hell, I rarely read partners pieces for tag matches till I was done. And we saw how an unplanned event can come together quite nicely with me and Bren.

Halfway to a full showing.

And don't forget, a lot of segments and one main event match have been promised. Let's get those in by late next week, 'kay?
