I know alot of people are shocked w/ them being 2-0 but I was able to watch the game Sunday and they really look good. The defense stiffened up after the 1st quarter and the offense was just going non stop. The Colts looked good in week 1 but the Titans held them to 22. What odds to you give Houston?

no, the colts offence is too explosive for the texans. andre johnson might also be out for the texans and he's been producing a lot of points lately.

It is going to be an uphill battle, but I think it is possible.
One way is if the Colts underestimate their defence and Peyton is throwing incompletion after incompletion.

It could happen. The key to beating the Colts is keep the ball moving and keep Peyton off the field. Don't let the offense get rolling because once the Colts start scoring they don't stop. I don't expect it to, but it could happen. I did however tell everyone last weeks game against the Titans would be close and it was.

Can they....yes. Both the defense and the offensive line are much improved. Schaub gets rid of the ball much quicker than Carr and gives the Texans a chance.
Will they......nope. Mannning and his offense are just too much. The holes on defense have been quickly plugged by smart drafting and great backup players.
Colts improve to 3-0 in a much tighter game than they expected. 24-17

the disconcerting thing for Houston is the fact that Andre Johnson isn't playing. you can't underestimate how much that limits Houston's offensive gameplan. none of Indy's corners can go one-on-one with Andre Johnson, but they'll be able to man-up on Jacoby Jones and it won't be necessary to keep Sanders and Bethea back as safety blankets. Ahman Green and co. have to open things up on the ground, or Schaub is a dead man walking.
but you can't discount the fact that its a divisional rivalry and Houston's fans actually have something to care about, this late into the season. anything can happen in divisional games, and Houston could very well be swept up in their momentum and eek one out against Indy.

No, not without Andre Johnson. You stack the box and let Schaub pass, which isnt a good thing without Johnson.

I just finished watching the recording of the game since I was at church. I think if Houston had all their starters in, they would've found a way. Still a great effort.

It was a very good effort, IMO. I'm still mostly proud of the way they played.
