Wrestling columnist Mike Mooneyham is reporting that legendary announcer Gordon Solie will be the final name announced as being inducted into the WWE hall of fame this weekend. Jim Ross will induct Solie.
Solie is the best announcer to ever call a wrestling match

Solie was the man. I often buy CWF bootlegs, so it's fun seeing how much credibility he was able to bring to the wrestling.

They kind of built up the last inductee on raw, TBH its a bit of a let down if its true

They kind of built up the last inductee on raw, TBH its a bit of a let down if its true Because you likely didn't watch until the Attitude era and have no idea who he is? Solie is the first legitimately awesome commentator, without him, we wouldn't have Jim Ross, Gorilla Monsoon (You probably don't know who he is but trust me here), among others. Just because you don't know who he is doesn't make it a letdown. Honestly, Solie alone would make this HOF class worth giving a crapabout. |

Yeah, Jim Ross is a terrible version of Gordon Solie.
Solie and Styles are my two top commentators of all-time, off the top of my head.
