I am an AppleCare Advisor for mobile devices. So if you have an iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Apple Watch, you could be speaking with me. It definitely has its pros and cons. The biggest con is no company I have ever worked for believes in the concept of the "Customer is Always Right" like Apple. Your job as an AppleCare Advisor depends on what customers think of you in their survey. If you give them the world, they may leave you a positive survey, or no survey at all. But if you don't give a customer 100% exactly what they want, doesn't matter how great you were with them, they will leave you a negative survey, but be pissed at the company. But you were the one in charge of that conversation, so no matter what, the fault is on you. Enough of those, and you're out. It definitely does not matter how good you are, it's a matter of how cool the customers are.

I work for an IT Managed Service company. I’m a senior tech so I take care the IT needs for about 20 to 30 business.
I’ve been working here for about 8 years. Company has been great to me. They brought me in with little experience but I have learn and they have provided with me a lot of resource to grow as a Tech. Salary is good. When time was tough, I still got a little raise but when we have a successful year, they pay it forward.
The job is not bad either. I don’t have anyone micromanaging me. I work from home sometime when I can or I just travel to my client sites.

In my case, I get to work from home, so that's definitely a pro, and I personally know the product like the back of my hand, so that definitely helps as well. The pay could be better for what I have to deal with, but it's not the worst. But yes, it is very frustrating when you think you just had a great interaction, then the customer finds something to be pissed about, usually not about me, and lets us know about it in their survey, and I take the hit for it. That part really sucks, especially when you think you're doing a great job, and for whatever reason, the customer wants to be mad about something, and it's all your fault.

I work for the largest corporate concierge company in the Americas.
It’s a great day job that affords me the freedom to do what I really love:
Acting.
I’ve accomplished quite a bit that I’m proud of in the acting world, acting in some off Broadway stuff, starring in a feature film that closed out a pretty sizeable film festival here in NY. The same feature is currently doing festivals all around the country and has already won a few awards, including best cast at a festival on the West Coast. I’ve also been in some short films that have been screened all around the world, as far away as Italy!
I’ve also been featured in a Lifetime Network documentary about JonBenet Ramsey!
Overall, I’ve had it pretty solid with acting!

I work at Walgreens. Ive been with my current store for a little over 2 years but I've been with the company 5 years. I am mainly a phototech but I do everything except pharmacy.

Full time at a grocery store.
I do pretty much everything. Frozen, dairy, grocery.
I've been there 18 years and couldn't ask for a better job

I'm an Assistant Manager at an Arby's. The 24th of April made 1 year since I started there. I was promoted to management about 3 months ago and was the first one promoted since summer of last year. I'm the youngest manager there.

Licensed REPUTABLE massage therapist. I take my profession seriously and loathe those "therapists" who tarnish it. Got licensed in 2015. Also a janitor part time since 2005. Meanwhile in fantasy land,my music is paying the bills and I'm jamming with Megadeth on weekends.

i'm a stay at home dad to two awesome little boys, ages 4 and 2
i also referee high school and middle school soccer, and a little bit of travel (i hate travel soccer, those parents are buttheads)

My uncle coaches a travel baseball team. He says all those parents think their kid is the best and everyone else's kid sucks.

I work for Walmart. Ive been there for 3 years. I was planning on leaving once i graduated from college last year cause i was planning to go straight to bartending school right after, but after i graduated, i got lazy, plus once i graduated, i moved from the bakery department (where i was going mental), to the produce area. I do love the coworkers i have now, so thats kept me from wanting to leave. However i just began bartending classes last week. Cant finish as fast as i want due to my schedule, but im hoping to finish by the end of June so i can start job hunting.

Don't remember who it was but it was in the Mattel days, and I said - quite loudly - "THAT'S NOT THE GUY PICTURED ON THE PACKAGING!" They stared at ME like I had 3 heads. And then processed the return. Guy walks away from the customer service desk, laughing because he got one over on them.
