Jake Roberts is scheduled to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame next month. Apparently he will be given a temporary release from his rehab treatment to attend the award show.
There are also rumblings that Scott Hall, who is in the same treatment facility as Roberts, might attend the H.O.F. ceremony with Roberts.
Roberts is one of the only wrestlers who openly and publicly accepted WWE's rehab offer, and even sent out a thank you letter to Vince. We don't have an update on Roberts' condition, but Scott Hall is said to be doing exceptionally well and looks forward to mending broken business relationships when he completes his treatment.
Its about time Jake "The Snake" Roberts is being inducted. By far the best on the mic of all time, and I think he could of been a major heel if stayed in 1992.

Awesome to see Roberts might go in the HOF this year, hopefully Scott Hall as well.

If Hall is mending fences with the WWE, it would be cool if they used him again. I'd like to see him come in and mentor Carlito.

If Jake got it together, WWE would hire him for their writing team in a heartbeat. Even if he's not writing the storylines, Jake is the kind of guy who could REALLY help the younger talent when it comes to crowd interaction, promos, etc. He's easily one of the most underrated stars the business has ever seen.
In DDP's shoot interview, he cites that Jake helped him become the star he has become. He also says that Jake told him how big of a star Rocky Maivia would become.
I hope Jake knows that if he stays on the right path, he'll no doubt be involved in the WWE in some capacity. He has so much to offer and I'm sure he could use the $.
I'm extremely happy about this. Although he's had quite a rocky path, it's admirable how many times he has refused to give up. Flair made me think about it, but add Jake and I'll definitely get a ticket to the HOF. Good for him, the man deserves it.

I know Hall didn't exactly do much in the 'E, but what was that little angle he had in WCW...oh yeah the nWo, which was huge and made WCW beat WWF in ratings back in the day. And what has Eddie Guerrero, Mr. Perfect, King, and a few others done for this business other then having kick ass matches? |
