I think Playmates only had it for a year, but quite a bit of varied things out. They didn't have it for long at all. And I guess when Jakks took over the license they acquired all of Playmates unsold stock. Many Playmates items have Jakks Pacific stickers on the back. Have prototypes for Ringmasters Andre and Stone Cold ever surfaced? I always wanted both of them and they were never released. I love all of the obvious Hulk Hogans where they didn't even try to hide that it was Hulk Hogan. Some of those thumb wrestlers look like straight up LJNs. And I will always love cross-eyed Benoit and Goldberg wearing a mask on some of the packaging art. I have seen a few of the ones with Jakks stickers. I have tried to steer clear for continuity's sake. I have never seen the protos if they are out there. Hogan and Sting were generally the most obvious. Apparently I have not looked closely enough when you mention the Goldberg with a mask. |

Woah!!! This is an amazing collection & Post, it brings such nostalgia for me as a kid. When my parents couldn’t afford WWE toys they’d get me everryyyy character of those “Wrestling federation” guys at the top. I created fake feds and character names with those. I’d love to have these back in my collection someday Thanks! You could have used their ECW names for most of them, if you followed that or are of that age range. They had Sheamus before there was a Sheamus! |

Although I used to get some things overseas from Europe, I did not follow it enough to find many ever coming up and they do not come up often here. I also collect a large number of lines, so they were not at the top of the priority list. I was buying what I saw available. |

I have just sorted out a lot of figures from my youth (were in storage), have some Hasbros, TTL (which a lot of ppl dont like), but my favorite are the 3 bootleg ones I have wish they were MOC like yours ( am now thinking of starting a collection. Bad time to start but just now i can admire the ones i have and look through my Diesel sticker book.
