I can speak, read, and write, fluently, with out an accent both Spanish and English. I can speak 2 different native tribe languages from Mexican Native Americans. And I can read/understand/ speak some Italian and French.
If I'm at work tho..... I only know what ever language you dont know.

I was born in Iceland to an Icelandic family, but we moved to England when I was two years old, so I speak Icelandic and English each about as badly as the other. At school I had five years of German, which I never used until I visited Dusseldorf in December 2016 - I was surprised how much German I actually remembered, so maybe it wasn't as much of a waste of time as I thought as a kid. Whilst studying my Masters I also took a year of French on the side, since apparently I thought it would help my employment prospects to be able to say "I have a red car" in French or something. But I've since replaced that car with a silver one, so Probably the first language I tried to learn at a young age was Spanish as my parents have had a villa there since I was like seven or something, but never had any actual lessons.

English, and I can speak Spanish very well, but I mainly stick to speaking to my family in Spanish. I could speak very intellectually in English, but no where near the same quality in Spanish.

Nope. Took 2 years of Spanish in HS, as it was the graduation requirement, or I wouldn't have even taken them. I'd like to learn Italian but don't have the patience.

At university I taught German and French. I can speak a little French and German. In general I like to learn languages. So I spent a lot of time on it and therefore didn't always have time to read books in English, but professional book review services helped me in this. I am happy because I visited France and found two friends who are now helping me to better understand and speak French!

American and English are quite different as far as vocabulary. Iām good with understanding both and itās a bit underrated how hard it is for Americans to understand British people in the UK. I think itās easier the other way around because thereās a lot of American speak on tele.
All Americans should experience the UK imo.

English, closest I've come to anything else would be learning the sounds of most Hebrew letters, and being able to read some biblical terms and names. Very, very minimal. Wish I had gotten to have a Bar Mitzvah - which would have led to a lot of good instruction in Hebrew - but I turned 13 right when my parents were divorcing, and it just never worked out.
