That would be a very nice gesture. I've long assumed that Vince McMahon respects Double J, probably more than others, both for founding TNA and for the supposedly infamous negotiation at the end of Jarrett's WWE run.
Plus, Double J is an all-time great intercontinental champion.
... I'd go for one more match against Kurt, too.

I've been watching Double J since he was 17 years old. And through that time I've had various amounts of fandom. Ranging from someone I liked to someone I can't stand. And while I do not think he was as big of a name as he thought he was, I do think his career is HOF worthy.

He smashed a thousand guitars and never drew a dime. Jeff Jarrett isnt a Hall of Famer. More dimes than a few guys already in the Hall. Not a huge Jarrett fan myself, but the guy has had a pretty solid, very lengthy career in multiple organizations although I'll always prefer his original WWF run from 1993-1996. People need to stop holding the Hall of Fame to such high standards. There are no statistics or voting committees. It's simply meant to honor guys who have had good careers in the business and are on mutual terms with WWE. Just as importantly, the ceremony itself fills an arena with paying fans. Easy money for the company without having to even feature any wrestling. Not one of my favorites, still I think Jarrett has more than enough credentials to be inducted. |

Perhaps he deserves to be there. He opened the door for any and every ex-WWE Superstar possible and allowed them to continue their careers until the chance arose for them to go back to WWE.

He deserves it. The WWE Hall of Fame is essentially the Wrestling Hall of Fame and that's something Double J should be in, and I always liked him so I'm game.

I think he should be in there. There was one point in his WWE run where I genuinely thought that in a few years he would be headlining Wrestlemania against Owen Hart, but WCW and fate had other plans. I just thought those two guys were really hitting a stride to go on pace as great rivals to Austin and the Rock but just wasn't in the cards.
