Kurt Angle is having an affair with Stephanie McMahon and Papa Hunter is gonna break his freakin' neck with the help of all his NXT kids.

It would make sense if Kurt is talking to Stephanie McMahon to rekindle their relationship all these years later, and he just happens to get caught in the mix which is why he wants to come forward with it which could lead to Triple H-Kurt at SummerSlam... like rumors suggested. I personally think that's fine and can only imagine how awesome the promos and segments will be leading up to the Pay-Per-View

I know many will argue, but I think this was a pretty good RAW tonight. Still think 3 hours is too much, but the show delivered. Some storylines progressed and the main event was solid. Loved that Joe is still after Brock. Neville got pinned for the first time in months. Revival & the Club both looked good. Bayley got a win. Bray looks to have finally won a feud. Good stuff.
To be honest, I don't have anything negative about it. Besides the 3 hours of coarse.

Dang it, WWE got us. When was the last cliff hanger like that? It's fear based. Not suspense.

In all seriousness, though, I hope this isn't an affair angle. WWE can't play these things with any sort of gravitas and it ends up making everything just feel hokey and stupid.

I wonder if they're going to rehash that Storyline in 2000 with Kurt, Steph, and Trips.....

You guys think they could try to be "edgy" and make Angle have a gay lover ? Honestly that's what that call sounded like "Let's just go out together and tell the whole world and see how they feel" etc

My gut tells me it's Steph. The problem with that is it's been done and there's not really a way to make Kurt out to be the face in all of it.
Won't happen but would rather see it be Dixie. Vince could get on to Kurt for "sleeping with one of their former enemies". Then HHH and Steph come back. Vince makes HHH w\Steph vs Kurt w/ Dixie at summer slam.

So the number one contenders match is between a guy who lost to the champion the night before and a guy who also lost the night before, while at the same time trying to literally murder the person who beat him.
Way to make the matches last night mean absolutely nothing. Some great story telling right there.

Does anyone else see Joe somehow winning next week and Reigns being inserted into this feud with Miz and wasting a Shield reunion on Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas?

I enjoyed Raw tonight actually. The main thing I liked is that they actually put effort into storylines some tonight and it wasn't just pointless match after pointless match.

Good raw tonight. For the first time in a while I can't wait to see what happens with angle next week. My first thought was that it's Dixie Carter. But do enough of the audience know who Dixie is? Maybe having her on the network tonight will introduce her to those who are unfamiliar. Then Stephanie is another possibility. Maybe it's somebody that nobody expects? Should be interesting to see what happens. Either way I'm sure it finally gets Kurt back in the ring.

I really hope the Kurt Angle storyline isn't something stupid like an affair or him coming out as gay.

While Stephanie would make the most sense and would work well with rekindling old network story footage, at this point it would just be completely unrealistic and nobody would buy into it. Unless of course, Stephanie is essentially egging him on, and it ends with Triple H beating him down for trying it. Maryse could well be an option, but in my opinion would be somewhat anti-climatic having Kurt Angle vs The Miz. We're definitely getting Angle in the ring though, the timing of this along with the Angle homecoming network feature definitely shows they're trying to build his stock as much as possible.
As for Reigns vs Joe, I could see Strowman costing Reigns the Match. The problem I have, is that there's no real stock in Lesnar vs Joe II (I don't have any interest in seeing Joe be the one to beat Lesnar), and if it's Reigns then we know Lesnar wont be retaining. At least we'll likely have a fresh Wrestlemania main event though.
