Celtic went more than that, they did a whole domestic season unbeaten I meant in a league that actually matters, aka the PL.

Yeah, happy with that. Pep does seem to feel like he is the chosen one, it's a bit cringe. I can see Everton spending more! They will be close this season but whether they make top 4 or not, I don't know. Between Pep, Conte and Klopp, the league is really filled with some odd characters on the sidelines these days And that's without mentioning Rafa This is true! They certainly are characters! The media like to portray Mourinho as the problem one, but if people actually watch the majority of the games, he couldn't be more diffent to these guys, running around and celebrating each goal like they've just won the lottery! Klopp is on another level though. I just find myself staring in a bit of a daze when he runs around and displays those weird facial expressions. Great for the league though.

Alright he's won leagues with Barce and Bayern whoopi doo, my granny could manage both of them to win the league, Juventud Guerrero could manage them and win leagues. He's another one in a long list of managers that will meet their demise in the premier league where they all get found out. When he starts doing trebles with Inter Milan and winning champions league trophies with Porto then ill toast to him but until then hes a nobody, a peon, a blemish on Mourinho's buttocks as the Rock would say. Woooooooooooooooo, Utd's going to win the league! Can you smell it? Haha! This did make me laugh. I think a few are starting to notice this now. He needs to be successful in the Premier League, I feel, to leave a more substantial legacy. Don't get me wrong, the playing style at Barca whilst he was there was amazing, however, this was also implemented in earlier years by the likes of Cruyff. As you say, that Barca team and any Bayern Munich team would have won those titles with almost any manager in the world, except maybe Steve McClaren.

The signing of young Oliver Burke from Leipzig is very promising.

What a goal from Bournemouth They've not given City a minute to play their game so far (only 15 gone though). Aguero only on the bench.

Loved the ending to that Bournemouth/Man City game. Pure drama.

United get the job done against Leicester, in what was predictably a much tougher test than the first two games. Going into the international break with a goal difference of +10 after three games, and two points ahead of City and Liverpool (after they beat Arsenal as usual tomorrow). Spurs should get the job done against Burnley whilst Chelsea vs. Everton should be interesting (but isn't on TV tomorrow ) but whatever happens tomorrow, United have at least three points on both of them now. However early it is, United have done their job so far.

Loved the ending to that Bournemouth/Man City game. Pure drama. Was pretty crazy. Felt Bournemouth were unfortunate with the quickly taken free kick from the wrong spot and additional added time, but credit to Man City, they kept going until the end. Sterling getting a second yellow for celebrating was ridiculous, in my opinion. The crowd came to him! Like they said on MOTD, why weren't all the other Man City players booked as well for it? Aguero shoving the steward as well! I dislike City, by the way!

Like I said before, they won their first 3 league games last season as well and the league didn't end great, however, you get a different feel about this United side, they attack and attack and keep trying to score even when they're ahead, like the United of old. Looking forward to today's games, Chelsea V Everton and Liverpool V Arsenal should be tight. Liverpool do seem to always get one over on Arsenal for some reason, if they lose again today, Wenger will be under massive pressure and we're only 3 games in.

Unfortunately I have zero faith in Wenger setting his team out to do anything other than play right into Klopp's hands. TBF the only top 6 manager who did set-up to address Klopp's obvious way of playing was Mourinho, and he of course got all sorts of crap for doing that from the usual critics But at least with the other managers there's a chance they might adapt next time and learn from the result, but with Wenger he never seems to learn anything.

As I was saying... Wenger starting with eleven men would be a start at least - why on earth would you play Ozil in a game like this, let alone keep playing him in games like this; for all his quality, he's completely wrong for this match. At least Liverpool look as suspect defensively as ever.

To be quite honest, its sad seeing Wenger's demise. He was a manager I had a lot of respect for ever since 97 when he did the double and then the team he built with the invincibles but I have to say in recent seasons he has continually proven himself to be tactically inept and failed to evolve his teams.

Oh Arsenal, never change.
Liverpool's attacking play is fantastic to watch, most enjoyable team to watch in the league hands down.

Liverpool 4-0 Arsenal - same outcome, different season It was a strange one today, as literally everyone except Wenger could see what was coming. They do look in trouble and we all know where the fans direct that frustrations when it goes wrong at Arsenal...

Completely agree. He was once a huge adversary for all the top teams and they've now been a bit of a joke in the league for quite a few years. It was ever since the stadium change began. He's already proven what a great manager he is but seems to have lost his tactical knowhow for some reason. I could see him walking if they're out of the top 3 race by Christmas.

Yeah, as poor as Arsenal were today, and I've got to say that's the worst I've seen a 'top 4' side play in quite some time, Liverpool were awesome going forward. That breakaway goal from the corner was particularly good. If they do sell Coutinho and invest that money well, they could be a force again in the league. As much as this pains me to say!
