UPDATE: Ric Flair is WWF Champion, Rowdy Piper is IC Champion, and The Legion Of Doom are WWF Tag Team Champions UPDATE: This sim has now entered 1992 with the WWF Championship vacated As the 80's wrestling boom was coming to an end, the WWF had started dwindle in popularity and would be sued for sexual harassment and the illegal use of steroids. Even it's chief competitor WCW had fallen on hard times with it's own scandals with steroids and sexual harassment. Despite not being popular as in the 80's, Hulk Hogan was still a top draw in the early 90's. That fact was apparent when the Hulkster left in 1993 causing the WWF popularity to go down even further. With Hogan leaving and jumping ship to WCW others would join, soon 1990's WCW would end up looking like 1980's WWF. With this development Vince McMahon would soon start pushing for a "New Generation" of wrestling with stars like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Lex Luger, Razor Ramon, etc. But what if Hogan never left for WCW? How would the WWF in mid 1992-1994 (or even 1999) look like with Hulkamania running wild?

WWF Prime Time Wrestling November 28th, 1991 Post-Survivor Series Special Round Table: Vince McMahon, Lord Alfred Hayes, Gorilla Monsoon, and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan
Vince: What a Survivor Series that transpired last night! Let's first talk about the New WWF Heavyweight Champion , The Undertaker! Heenan: Who cares about that! Last night the real World's champion was the sole survivor of his team! I'm of course talking about Ric Flair! Gorilla: He also helped the Undertaker win the WWF Championship by hitting Hulk Hogan with a chair! Heenan: Oh so whenever Hogan does something dirty you cheer for him! But when Flair does it, it's suddenly bad! Gorilla: Oh will you stop! Vince: Fellas fellas! Calm down! Let's be civil about this! Hayes: Yes gentlemen! Please! Anyways I have to agree with you Gorilla, if it wasn't for Flair the Undertaker wouldn't be champion! Heenan: Oh just blame Flair! It's always Flair's fault! You make me sick! If Flair was here he'd make you eat those words! Vince: Heenan calm yourself! Ugh. Let's get the Hulkster opinion about these turn of events. Hogan promo: Well you know something brothers, even though I'm no longer the WWF Champion anymore I'm still taking my vitamins and still saying my prayers! Ric Flair if you wanted the WWF title you should've stepped up at Survivor Series instead of sending the Undertaker to do your dirty work! You claim to be the "real world's champion" but your not the WWF champion! So whatcha gonna do Ric Flair and the Undertaker, when Hulkamania runs wild on both of you! (Flexes) Heenan: Oh brother, give it a rest Hogan! You've been doing this shtick for 8 years! Gorilla: Yeah and you've called yourself the brain for 7! (Rises out of his chair) Vince: Fellas not again! Hayes: Why can't we be civil? Gorilla: Sorry fellas, but sometimes I just get the old feeling. (Brain gains a confused look) Gorilla: The old feeling to fight in the ring! Vince: Wait. Your not suggesting. Gorilla: Yes Brain I challenge you to a match at Saturday Night's Main Event! (sits back down slowly) Brain: Uh, I think I forgot my bowtie! (runs out of his chair) (Gorilla laughs) Skinner def. Dale Wolfe The British Bulldog vs. The Mountie (w/ Jimmy Hart) ended in a Double Count Out The Big Boss Man def. The Warlord (w/ Harvey Wippleman) by DQ I.R.S. def. Sonny Blaze Ted DiBiase (w/ Sensational Sherri) def. Greg Valentine Jake Roberts def. Chris Duffy Repo Man def. Mark Boswell The Mountie (w/ Jimmy Hart) def. Phil Apollo Tito Santana def. I will not fight, I'm not a competitor! I'm an announcer and manager nothing else! Vince: Well Bobby I have bad news for you, because Jack Tunney has an announcement to make about that! Official Statement from President Jack Tunney:
It has come to my attention that last week's episode of Primetime Wrestling, Gorilla Monsoon had issued a challenge to Bobby The Brain Heenan and I've decided to fulfill Monsoon's challenge. - I still think that Hogan being in the WWF past 1993 is a mistake and why I say that? Because with Hogan still in the company the likes of people like Bret "The Hitman" Hart, HBK Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Yokozuna, Lex Luger, Razor Ramon, Perfect, etc. will never get over especially with Hogan still in the company because Hogan is shoved down our throats and at that time he was shoved down everyone's throats...it is played out but that is just my opinion anyway
- Because these new generation of stars will never be made because Hogan will just hold them down
- But anyway that is enough of my rant...where was I? I think Flair vs Taker especially in 1992 was a Dream Match so to see it happen for the WWF Championship with The Undertaker defending his title against Flair I wonder if Flair will have Heenan and Perfect with him during this match?

Gorilla Monsoon comes out of retirement to shut the mouth of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!!! And for our main event the WWF Champion, The Undertaker defends the title against the #1 contender, The Nature Boy Ric Flair! And many more as we kick off the 30th edition of Saturday Night's Main Event!!!! The Brooklyn Brawler (w/ Harvey Wippleman) def. Greg Valentine Koko B.Ware def. Rick The Model Martell via DQ Hercules Hernandez and The Warlord def. Hacksaw Jim Duggin and British Bulldog* The Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich def. Kato I.R.S. (w/ Jimmy Hart and Ted DiBiase) def. The New Foundation (Owen Hart and Jim The Anvil Neidhart) to retain the WWF Tag Team Championships Bret Hart def. Shawn Michaels via submission to retain the WWF Intercontinental Championship
Releasing the Gorilla: Gorilla Monsoon (w/ Hulk Hogan) v. Bobby The Brain Heenan (w/ Mr. Perfect) Ventura: You know something Vince, I never thought I would ever see this! Gorilla Monsoon comes out of retirement to fight, Bobby The Heenan?! Vince: I'm shocked too! Let's see how all this developed over the past weeks! (Shows footage of November 28th edition of WWF Prime Time Wrestling and footage of Hogan training Gorilla) Ventura: Of course Hogan's got to get involved somehow, thank god he's no where near the WWF Title match cause he'd screw the Undertaker out off the WWF title and keep it himself! Vince: Oh common! You're being ridiculous!! (Real American starts playing) Vince: And here they come!! Can anyone hear say they aren't excited? Ventura: What?! I can't hear you!! They're too loud!! Hogan and Gorilla make their way to the ring as Gorilla rips his shirt just like the hulkster. Mr. Perfect and B obby Heenan come out but unlike Gorilla, Heenan's not in a wrestling attire. Mr. Perfect climbs into the ring and starts attacking Gorilla Monsoon untill Hulk Hogan climbs in and attacks Perfect. Heenan seeing the chance, grabs a chair and nearly hits Monsoon but is pushed back by Monsoon. The ref rings the bell as Monsoon grabs Heenan and starts messing with him. Heenan tries to run away but Monsoon is always there to stop him, eventually Perfect hits Hogan with a chair and climbs back into the ring. The ref tries to stop Perfect but is knocked down by Heean running into him from Gorilla irishwipping him. Perfect accidently hits the ref with the chair knocking him out cold, Perfect kicks Monsoon in the knee knocking him down. Perfect raises his chair to hit Monsoon but suddenly it's gone. Jesse Ventra, realizing Perfect's gonna give Monsoon brain damage, he gets up from the commentary table and gets in the ring and grabs the chair from Perfect's hands and hits him with it! Ventura shakes hands with Monsoon and both of them clothesline Bobby Heenan. Monsoon gives Heenan a military press slam followed by Ventura's body breaker. Hulk Hogan who only just recovered from Perfect's chair shot, delivers his leg drop to Heenan allowing Monsoon the pinfall. Only there was no ref, so another ref made the call.
Winner: Gorilla Monsoon
Wooing the Deadman: WWF Champion The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) v. Ric Flair After a promo about the match, The Nature Boy Ric Flair makes his way down the ramp but without anyone with him. Vince immediately questions this but Ventura assures him Flair has something up his sleeve. Next comes out the WWF Champion, The Undertaker with his manager Paul Bearer with the urn that controls Taker. The Ref rings the bell as Flair and Taker recreate the opening to Hogan and Andre at Mania 3. Eventually Flair gets Taker to the corner as he does the flair slap (is that it's name or?) but Taker does not fall instead his grabs Flair's throat and throws him into the corner and starts choking him. The Ref threatens to DQ the deadman but backs off as soon as Taker stares deadpan at him. Flair uses this opportunity to kick Taker in the leg. Flair kicks Taker until Paul Bearer hits him with his urn, allowing Taker to rise up and kicks him in the stomach delivering a DDT. Undertaker grabs Flair by the throat and pulls him up. He sets up for the Tombstone Piledriver when suddenly the lights go out. We hear someone hit the mat possibly Flair, but when the lights come on it turns out it was the Undertaker who hit the mat. The man who put him on the mat turns out to be Sid Justice?! The ref doesn't see this to due him being knocked out. Justice tries to wake the ref up while Flair puts Taker in the Figure 4 soon a ref comes out and declares Flair as the winner
Winner: Ric Flair and the new WWF Champion
note: This would be set up a tag team between the two called the United Nations

I agree to a certain extent. If you look at the attendance numbers it was crap (outside of RAW) and the WWF was focused mostly on small venues. Even with Hogan gone, there were instances where a Bret vs. Yokozuna title match late in the year drew crap. Hogan brought in "some" numbers with Beefcake, but not what Vince likely hoped for. Hogan needed a re-imagining, either go heel or just leave. He had faced everyone he had to. I honestly thought when Hogan came back in '93, that the Mega-Maniacs would be a real tag-team and they would win the Tag-titles at Wrestlemania 9. I liked the idea even though it was weird seeing Jimmy Hart at first I was a fan. Hogan could've continued in the company as a Tag champ because that was the best thing for him if he was to stick around, but nope it didn't go that way he got the title the same night as to when they should've gotten the Tag belts.

And all you want to do is talking about Monsoon? Vince: I was just getting to that. Now Mr. Flair, a lot of people are upset for what you did at SNME XXX. Flair: They're upset because I won? Vince: No, it's because you made Sid Justice turn his back on his fans and the WWF? Now m- Sid: Why did I do it? Because The Undertaker has no right to dare think he keep the WWF Championship! Flair ordered him to fight Hogan at Survivor Series, win, and give the title to Flair. But what does he do instead? He keeps it! If I were in Taker's position I would've gave Flair the title! Vince: Well what your describing reminds me of a certain controversy that happen on the Big Event three years ago. (shows footage of the main event 1988) Flair: You dare compare me to Ted DiBiase? Jake enters first and with his bag that contains Damien, then does his signature laying back on the 3rd turnbuckle. Sid Justice's theme comes on but no Sid Justice. Jake laughs for a minute but is attacked by a camera man. The Camera Man is actually Randy Savage in disguise and stars kicking Jake untill Sid Justice comes out and powerbombs both men. Sid orders the ref to ring the bell and pins Jake. But before the ref slams his hand down for the 3 count the lights go out (gong) As the crowd goes wild, the lights come back on to reveal The Undertaker is standing where the ref was and delivers a tombstone to Sid Justice and drags the unconscious Jake onto Sid and once again the lights go off. The lights come back on and a another ref comes out and counts 1,2,3. Winner: Jake The Snake Roberts
Bankrupting the Million Dollar Man: Hulk Hogan v. Ted DiBiase (w/ Sensational Sherri) Sensational Sherri)
Ted enters first with Sensational Sherri as the crowd boos them. Ted laughs as his shows off how rich he is. Real American hits and the crowd goes wild. Gorilla tells us that this place has gone crazy, and Hogan rips his shirt. The ref rings the bell as DiBiase tries to clothesline Hogan but is thrown over the top rope. Hogan goes after him and a brawl in sues, eventually Ted gets the upper-hand and throws Hogan into the ring post and into the ring. DiBiase quickly goes for a pin but only gets a 1 count. DiBiase starts punching a down Hogan but is pushed back by Hogan into the corner and is setup for the corner punches. Hogan gets 10 and then jumps down off DiBiase to let him fall down into the mat. Sherri starts whinning to the ref on the apron until Hogan picks her up and drops her back on the ground which allows DiBiase to unhook the turnbuckle. Hogan sees DiBiase get up and immediately runs towards him only to hit the removed turnbuckle. Hogan falls down grabbing his back in pain while DiBiase laughs and starts kicking him in the back while he screams in pain. The ref threatens to disqualify him if he doesn't stop, DiBiase stops only to pick Hogan up and slams him into the turnbuckle. While the ref checks on Hogan DiBiase goes to Sherri and receives a pair of brass knuckles. He hides them in his trunks before the ref can see what he is doing and drags Hogan away from the ropes to pin him. 1! 2! Hogan kicks out and starts Hulking up while DiBiase is shocked. Dibase secretly pulls out his brass knuckles and tries to hit Hogan but Hogan blocks and delivers the three punches. Hogan goes for the big boot but DiBiase ducks and punches him in the face and knocks him down. DiBiase covers Hogan for the 3 but is pulled out of the ring by Ric Flair? Flair knocks DiBiase down and climbs into the ring and puts Hogan in the figure 4 lock causing both Hogan and DiBiase to both be disqualified. Winner: None by disqualification

The 1992 Royal Rumble Match and it will determine who the new WWF Champion will be...30 superstars in one match and the winner will not only be the last man standing but will be crowned the new WWF Champion
I think that that's great
But Flair he should have never have been stripped of the title in my opinion...I mean this obviously has Hogan written all over this Hogan no doubt went to Tunney and Tunney like a parrot listens to Hogan and Flair gets stripped of the title not even fair at all Flair didn't even lose the title it was taken from him stripped without him ever defending it like how the hell is that fair?

WWF Wrestling Challenge January 5, 1992 Corpus Christi Memorial Coliseum, Corpus Christi, Texas Hosts: Gorilla Monsoon and Vince McMahon
Gorilla: Welcome everyone to another jam packed episode of Wrestling Challenge!! I'm Gorilla Monsoon and with me is Vince McMahon! Vince: What year this is turning out to be Gorilla! I'm still in shock that Ric Flair was stripped of the WWF Championship! Gorilla: That's what Flair deserves. If he's too cowardly to defend his championship then he doesn't get to be champion. Vince: Wel- Is that Bobby Heenan?! (Bobby Heenan makes his way out to the ring as the crowd boos him) Gorilla: Well here comes the Weasel.
Heenan on Ric Flair being stripped of the WWF Title: Heenan: I'm sick and tired of hearing about how Ric Flair deserved to have been stripped the WWF Championship! (Crowd boos) Heenan: And I'm sick and tired of all of you! So shut it! (Crowd boos even louder) Heenan: There was a conspiracy to screw Ric Flair out of the WWF Title!! Gorilla: Give me a break. Heenan: And Hulk Hogan is in the center of that conspiracy! (Crowd boos even louder and starts chanting Hogan) Vince: I don't think the fans appreciated that! Heenan: And the fact that no one is doing anything about it is making me sick! This isn't fair to Flair!! (Crowd starts chanting get out) Heenan: You all can't move me! I'm not moving until Ric Flair is made WWF Champ again!!! (minutes pass until a gong is heard) Vince: The Undertaker is here!! (The Undertaker makes his way out to the ring with Paul Bearer) Bearer: Your Nature Boy isn't the only one who was screwed out of the WWF title!! If it wasn't for Sid Justice my Undertaker would still be the WWF Champion!! Heenan: (Notably scared) , uh. The Nature Boy should have stayed Champion! The Undertaker is a nobody! Flair's a somebod- (Taker grabs Heenan and sets up for a tombstone piledriver somewhat turning face) Vince: He tombstoned Bobby The Brain Heenan!! Gorilla: Thank god! (As Taker prepares to exit the ring, he is attacked by Sid Justice) Vince: No! Not Sid!! Gorilla: I knew he'd show up! (Sid delivers a powerbomb to Taker as Wrestling Challenge cuts to commerical)
(After recapping what happened in the past 2 months we cut back to the ring to see Bret Hart ready for action) Bret Hart def. Barry Horowitz via submission The Warlord (w/ Harvey Wippleman) def. - Undertaker with him Tombstoning Bobby The Brain Heenan that no doubt has to be a slow build towards a babyface turn for not only Taker but Bearer as well
- But then seeing Sid Justice attack Taker soon after...it seems that this rivalry between Sid and The Undertaker is just heating up
