Personally i want to give the reboot of Impact Wrestling a chance. We can't truly judge based on spoilers. I have said the episodes taped look eh, but maybe after i watch, my opinion will change. So before we start claiming Jarrett will run TNA to the ground (as if it wasn't already), lets give it a chance.

TNA is more of a bush league if you ask me From the sounds of the next set of tapings...I have to agree. I said Del Rio was a piece....NOT THE ING CENTERPIECE! And why is he a face? He makes an AWFUL face. He nails the snobby heel character. No Eli Drake, who is one of your BIGGEST assets right now. Is it too early to start calling for the return of Dixie Carter? JJ is running TNA into the ing ground again. #PUSHELIDRAKE

If TNA had millions of dollars to throw around like WCW had, guys like Randy Orton and maybe even John Cena possibly would have jumped ship to TNA for a lighter work schedule and to collection fat pay checks like Hogan, Nash, Hall, Savage and them did.
When Alberto is your main guy you snagged when rebuilding your company.... meh.
Nothing against Alberto, he is a former four time WWE World Champion, but compared to Cena, Orton, and even someone like Sheamus, he still falls underneath all those guys.

Obviously Cena & Orton are much bigger stars then Del Rio but I think he's clearly a big name and draw around the world then Sheamus and also more talent inside the ring and on the mic. With TNA losing The Hardy Boyz and Galloway real the only big named guy out their to be had thats still in his prime was Del Rio.Their was talks about bring back Bubba Ray Dudley which I would have been fine with but he's five or more years older and clearly close to the end of his career then Del Rio.I guess you could have also went after Rey Mysterio but again he's older then Del Rio and has had major health issues with his knees. I think Jarrett did the best he could with what was out there to be had on the open market and signed the best guy available that also probably still had a longer career ahead of himself. But theirs still some question with Del Rio personal life and all of the stuff he's gotten into over the past year, but if he's cleaned up his act again great signing for TNA and a guy that while probably not your franchise player is a big building block and piece to the main event picture going forward.

Heard they're thinking about bringing in Shark Boy.

Orton and Cena would never leave WWE. Too much money with opportunities to make money within the WWE universe due to WWE Films and the connections that the company has with various Hollywood projects. Plus, they'll always be main eventers involved in the main storylines for as long as they're around. When it comes to TNA and Del Rio, he's simply a safe option and was probably their best bet at this stage. He's a former world champion in WWE and has main evented every promotion he's been in. Furthermore, what seals his deal is the fact that he appeals to the Latino demographic, which is a big demographic for wrestling audiences.

They don't really have many options right now and I think they would be better served using what they have right now with people like Eli Drake, Bram, Cody and EC3.
Two people that came to my mind though were Candice LaRae for the Knockouts Division and Lio Rush who look's like he could be a star of the future and would create some excitement. I don't really feel there's any "big names" they could get- other then maybe bringing Bully back but he appears to have signed with ROH.

At this stage, who is there to sign? Me. Jarrett likes me (which is the weirdest thing ever.)

I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but is it possible to sign Matt Riddle? Dude has a huge following on the Indy scene from what I know.

They need some major acquisitions at the announcer's table first. I couldn't give a crap if it was EC3 vs Moose for the next year nonstop if it meant Josh Matthews just f'kd off This... I would probably watch TNA if it weren't for that god awful Josh Matthews.

I've been watching lately, I think they definitely need to sign more guys but their X-Division throwbacks were pretty cool.
I also am really excited to see Abyss as a singles star again. I just want him to wear the mask again.
I will be curious to see what happens with Paige, that could be a big signing for them if things don't work out with WWE, which I don't think they will and I know she'd follow Alberto into a school gym with 5 fans.
I think for the time being that generates enough new things going on/potential.
Oh and JR as commentator would be cool with me!
One thing I'd really like to see from TNA is some Legends broadcasters and managers. I always like seeing the old guys involved and hearing their over the top voices.
