Still wondering if this a silent hill or metal gear gameplay kind of game.

This game looks very...intriguing? And why, why does Mads Mikkelsen have to have something in his eyes in everything I see him in, haha?

My mind isn't blown. Now what? I don't really care. Game looks like something you'd enjoy after 6 bags of cocaine at the end of a 8 week heroin binge. Much like the Last of us, it's a niche game for a very niche playerbase.

Metallica has it right in that they know I chop my breakfast on a mirror. I've followed and loved everything Hideo Kojima has done since Metal Gear Solid on PS1 and to get something this wild (in my opinion) and so soon after the high that I had with Metal Gear Solid V, I personally can't wait.

As somebody (me) who plans on starting that back up once I'm finished with my RE:2 scenario playthrough, I'm wondering this as well? I began TLoU when it first came out, but was too enamored with Bioshock Inifinite for 360 at the same time. Flash-forward to now, and all I own is the original PS3 version of TloU with its download content (a $9.99 add-on I believe I caught on sale, but it's $9.99 currently...the main add-on I guess). I am down a 360, and my XB1 needs a brick. WiiU is getting a bit old. Was thinking of trying to restart TLoU or maybe even give the Uncharted series a chance, but something always keeps me away... Then this. Is is a niche game in that the gameplay is just like Uncharted? Is it the whole zombie apocalypse thing? For all that I played (under an hr...maybe just over) of TLoU upon release, it seemed incredibly addicting and I stopped so I could enjoy (and finish) Bioshock....which I did (save for DLC because the 360 bricked and XB1 really bricked--pun intended). I get niche games when it comes to survival horror...like Condemned, Outlast, etc.... They can be fun--some better than others. I even understand how stealth games can be a bit niche-y ....but how is TLoU outside of the entire overplayed zombie routine? I only ask because I may as well save myself time and I seriously don't know if I want to give it another spin. p.s. is the op game exclusive to PS4 or XB1...?

As for gameplay, there hasn't been any shown yet, however it creator also created the absolutely perfect Metal Gear series so you can expect the game play to be at least like Metal Gear Solid V. If you don't want to start the Last of Us and are on the fence about Uncharted, then give the 2013 Tomb Raider a chance, its the best of both worlds.

I have that 2013 Tomb Raider for Xbox 360 AND XboxOne, but the 360 isn't reading discs (well, if I bang on the top 20 times or so, it will load one up SOMETIMES) and my XboxOne is bricked. I've long wanted to try that game. TLoU was really fun from the tiny bit I played (an hour into the game, maybe? ...I don't even think I made it to the two main characters, Elle and the guy...? I was a f/ in a shanty town to begin that game if I recall).... and I liked the gameplay a lot. The Uncharted series looks great, and I bought all 3 used when I nabbed my PS3 ages ago (also used on sale), but never started them up. I think I own #2 on download for free, too, but my disc version has more or something. I dunno. As far as Metal Gear goes, it's weird. Absolutely love #2. I have never beat any others... I have the HD disc for 360 but cannot get it to read. I have 4 for PS3.. I wanted to play those I had not on the HD collection (I don't own it for PS3...d'oh), mainly #3 (which comes before 2 in the timeline, I think?).... but I'm tempted to just begin 4 for Ps3. I've heard it's great, too... and I have never played a MGS since PS2 era at this point. Or the remastered ports. Curious if I'd be missing a ton... I really like Snake Eater* but my 360 went on me as I was getting into it.

I have it pre-ordered from an Amazon E3 promotion. When it gets closer to release I might cancel my order. Not 100% sold on this one yet. Time will tell

This game is beautiful but also very weird. After a nearly nine minute trailer I am still clueless as to what it’s all about.

I'm a little late to the party on this but I just found out that 1 this has a release date and 2 Nicolas Winding Refn is in it. I'm assuming @ham already knew this about Refn.
