Extreme Rules Preview:
Vince McMahon reveals the SmackDown Live GM: During his match at Payback, Triple H was called to the back by his wife, Stephanie. We found out the next night on RAW that it was because of her dad, Vince McMahon. He had called her & told her he was once again separating RAW & SmackDown into two rosters and that SnackDown would now be live on Tuesday night's. He told Triple H & Stephanie that they would run RAW and that he would reveal the GM of SmackDown at Extreme Rules. Who will the Chairman choose to run the blue brand?
WWE Championship Extreme Rules Match: Dean Ambrose(c) vs Roman Reigns. After unsuccessfully challenging for the WWE Championship at Payback, Reigns brutally attacked Ambrose the next night on RAW. Triple H granted Roman another shot at the belt, in an Extreme Rules Match. Vince McMahon then added the stipulation that if anyone interfere's, they'll be immediately suspended. Will the 'Roman Empire' rise again or will the Lunatic continue to run the asylum?
Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz(c) vs Cesaro vs Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn. After Miz retained his Championship against Cesaro at Payback, under controversial circumstances, Cesaro wanted another shot. He was interrupted by Kevin Owens, who pointed out that he never got a chance to reclaim his Championship. They were put in a #1 Contenders match but Miz made sure it was a No Contest. This backfired and he was told he'd defend against them two and a man who deserved to have his hard work rewarded too.....Sami Zayn! Owens was livid at this, as was Miz. Can Miz retain once more? Or is it time for a new Champion?
United States Championship Last Man Standing Match: Kalisto(c) vs Sin Cara. Sun Cara had a rematch the night after Payback, but that ended in a No Contest after Kalisto took them both out with a Hurricanrana to the outside. So this match was set and the ref has been instructed to not end the match with a double count.
Tag Team Championship Table Match: Enzo Amore & Big Cass(c) vs The Dudley's. The Dudley's won a Tag Team Battle Royal then Bubba Ray defeated Big Cass to earn the right to pick the stipulation for their match. He picked his & D-Von's speciality, the Table match. Can the Dudley's add another title reign to their already impressive résumé?
Women's Championship Submission Match: Sasha Banks(c) vs Emma. Emma earned this opportunity by pinning Sasha at Payback. She demanded a title shot and Sasha agree'd. Both have made women tap to their finisher's in recent week's but who will be taken to their breaking point tonight and who will walk out Women's Champion?
#1 Contender's Match: AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins vs Chris Jericho. This one is simple, all 3 wanted a WWE Championship match so Triple H told them to fight for it.
Falls Count Anywhere Match: Baron Corbin vs Zack Ryder. Corbin attacked Ryder last month on RAW, citing him being eliminated from the André the Giant Battle Royal as his reasoning. Corbin has been on a tear since, even defeating Ryder on SmackDown but Zack keeps coming back for more. Can the 'Long Island Iced Z' overcome the 'Lone Wolf'?

The Club then lay out Cena. This Match is back and forth the entire time, as is the crowd with duelling 'Let's Go Cena/AJ Styles' chants the whole time. Styles uses his speed to take control but Cena overpowers him and takes it back. The referee gets bumped as Cena hits Styles with an AA. Despite Styles's guarantee they wouldn't interfere, Gallows & Anderson run in and hit Cena with The Magic Killer and place AJ Styles over Cena then leave the ring. The ref comes to and counts the 3. Owens hits the Pop Up Powerbomb but Zayn kicks out at the last possible split-second, shocking Owens and whipping the crowd into a frenzy. Owens attempts another one but Zayn dives over him and staffers into the corner. Owens charges but Zayn moves, runs to the other side and comes back with a Helluva Kick and Owens collapses onto him. Zayn puts him back there and goes back to the corner and stares at Owens as if, even through all that's happened over the last 19 months, this is still breaking his heart. He hits a second Helluva Kick and pins Owens. (*****)
