UFC in Albany is now famous for the first ever haircut between rounds (!)
Shane Burgos got his cornerman to cut his ponytail off between the second and third rounds. He won, thankfully.
As a guy with long hair, that's pretty ballsy, I have to say.
😬

I've been missing so much MMA lately because of work.
Did the haircut mid-fight dude get the win?

Lando "Groovy" Vannata's Spinning Wheel Kick KO over John Makdessi might be the KO of the year. He almost beat Tony Ferguson in his UFC Debut. He's pretty legit.

Anyone see the new promo vid for Ronda? 207 looks pretty good. They're pumping them out too fast though now I think.

Ronda's promo is amazing. I still hope Nunes smashes her though.
Awesome event today! Cerrone/Brown, Vennato's finish (spelled wrong most likely), Swanson/Choi and Holloway's performance were all fantastic. REALLY excited for next weeks card. Hoping PVZ, Faber and Sage get the wins.

^ also announced is Holly Holm Vs Germaine de Randamie for the inaugural women's Featherweight championship. I don't quite understand how Holm (who's lost her last two) and Randamie (who is ranked #14 at Bantamweight) are the top 2 for the division, but there you go...

I mean i know Cyborg hasn't been announced for any fights, but they could have found better choices. I don't really follow Invicta, but they could have always gone there to pick the two fighters. Personally, i would have had these two face two Women Featherweight fighters from Invicta in a mini tournament to crown the first champion. Should be a good fight nonetheless, but i agree it is two odd choices

It looks like if Holm wins the Featherweight title and Ronda Rousey regains the Bantamweight title, there will be a champion vs champion fight, hopefully no belt is on the line

Hopefully Holm finds her form again - her performance against Rousey was superb.
I'm picking PVZ to bring it to Waterson in a big way...

I'm picking Waterson for a dominant upset in R1 or R2. But having said that, my picks have been awful lately, so just ignore me! haha.

I gotta say, sometimes its hard to take VanZant serious cause she's just so god damn cute, but then they show her knocking out Bec Rawlings and then i remember "Oh yeah, she can kick ass" I'm hoping VanZant can win. She needs to beat a top 5 fighter, maybe top 3 fighter to convince me she can take Joanna Jedrzejczyk

I feel bad for VanZant, but John McCarthy made the right call stopping the fight before she passed out. God damn she's tough for trying to hold on while she was in that rear naked choke

Don't you find it baffling how UFC is putting all their baskets in one basket with Ronda? The entire hype about Ronda's fight with Nunes is that it's her comeback fight and they've done absolutely no promotion of Nunes, who could be a huge problem for Rousey. If Amanda destroys Ronda in one round, I think she's done.
