Without a way to add new games pretty useless for me. I have a functional NES us a combination system that plays NES, SNES and Genesis games. Good for people who want to check it out though. It would be the type of thing I'd buy to leave at the grandparents house or something but that's about it. It's going to be HD-TV compatible, meaning you can play it on a big ass-modern TV and it won't look like ass.

But no way to put on more games makes that a moot point for me personally. I have extra tube TVs I keep around for old systems. I have a Wii with a bunch of purchased games as well. This just doesn't matter for me.

You can't dump me I to a "cam hates everything" on this one because i don't. I would just need to be able to add more games for this product to make sense for me to buy. It's good for people who want to try out these games though

I'm getting this because I wasn't around when it came out. The first console released after I was born was the PsP or DS whichever came first. The Xbox, GC and Ps2 were in full swing when I was born. That last one was my first console. Out of this list I've only played the first Super Mario Bros. The price point is right up my alley because it's the price a AAA game would be.

Moved this to the Classic Gaming board so we can liven it up a bit. I'm sure you guys will be talking in here a little so might as well, haha.

See this is exactly why this is a great idea, younger generations get to experience old gaming. I think its great by Nintendo and they've done well with they're price, admittedly I haven't bought a Nintendo product since the Wii on launch day

It's gonna be HDMI Output for sure so you could use an Elgato with it. I thought I read it was using the red and yellow cables because logic. I could totally be wrong though, and just looking at the picture of it it has ports unless that's for the controls. www.geek.com/games/nintendo-is-re-releasing-the-nes-as-a-mini-console-pre-loaded-with-games-1661730/If you read the bottom of this website it states that it's gonna be HDMI output, also I wonder if I could use the controller on my proper NES? Would be nice to have a crisp controller, although it might very well be USB.
