Hi there I live in the UK and have been thinking about emigrating to Canada I was wondering if any of you guys or your parents had done so and if you could give me a little info about the process. Also is Canada a hard country to get into cause here in the UK we let anyone in. Any advice would be great cheers.

My grandparents are from Portugal. They moved here when they were about 35, so I guess around 40 years ago. I havent asked them about the process, but I'm sure Canada isn't the hardest country to get into.

I personally have not, but many people i know's parents have.
if you have the proper credentials, i don't think it'd be too hard.

My dad came here from Hungary when he was 12. Canada is a pretty welcoming country i think.

Cheers it is something me and my girlfriend are giving thought to I am a Personal trainer and a qualified football(soccer coach) and basketball as well as sports nutritionist and my girlfriend is a teacher so it is not like we would just show up and not have any skills to get a job. Do you have to have a job to go to before they would aprove you to move there
