Only on the gear (old style) hip joints. The new style is molded to the crotch piece.

Edit: Just checked, some are molded and some aren't I guess it's the luck of the draw.

because until recently it wasnt used very often so im guessing most people didnt notice the difference until recently (i never even heard anything about Luke Gallows joints until recently and ive been lurking on these boards for years before i joined)

E43 Bret and Anvil are both old style (gear) hips

Quick question. I was trying to put the Elite WM Lesnars legs from the hips down onto the Elite Lesnar with the black and red shorts to make a black/red underwear Lesnar but the hip joints were too big or something because they didn't fit. They both are new style joints BUT anyways I put the WM Elite legs back in their hip joints but theyre super loose now and they just flail around like a wacky waivable inflatable legged tube-brock. Anyway to fix this?

Also I really appreciate this post. Some people will learn from this and by others mistakes like mine lol. Here's a few reference pics of the old and new joints. I found out the hardway that they're not the same.




OT: I'm pretty sure these Batista Elites are now garbage unless I can find a way to put the new Lost Legends Ultimate Warrior legs onto him somehow. Probably a lost cause but we'll see.

Take the legs back off and put some superglue on the hip joints. Once it dries the piece will be a bit bigger. Keep adding glue all around the ball joint until it's a tight enough fit.

You could also sand down the red and black Lesnars hip joints to make the other legs fit.

can anyone confirm if the DM Hogan and Batista have the same skin tones or not?

or if E33 Bluetista has the same hip and thighs as the other elite Batista figures minus the ball joint obviously, Im talking strictly musclular design.

Batista and Hogan's skintones match(check out the old fixup thread) but Bluetista's legs are unique to that figure. They're a little leaner than his previous Elites.

thanks. I knew his shins and below were different but I couldnt tell about his thighs from pictures. Trying to find a way to make an Evolution Batista Elite with new ball joints without switching out the hip pegs. Hoping for a simple torso swap. Not likely it seems.
