A pic fed may not be out of the question, especially after I get a few more folks added to the roster. My workbench has currently got 4 more in the works that I hope to post here soon!

How did you make the Dick the Bulldog Brower figure? That head looks amazing!

How did you make the Dick the Bulldog Brower figure? That head looks amazing! Many thanks for the compliment! It took a little while, but I settled on a DA Fit Finlay head in the end, and re-sculpted and painted from there. His body was an RA Ric Flair. Finlay actually turned out to be a very useful figure, I paid dirt cheap for him on ebay, and he donated his calves to Tex McKenzie, when his boots weren't turning out how I liked, and his shoes went to Igor, to replace Kurt Angle's Nike Airs.

It's been awhile since my last update, but the workshop's been far from quiet! Joining the ranks of my IWA collection, a revamped Mighty Igor with new shoes, joined by his manager, Ivan Kalmikoff. Igor is still carrying that keilbasa, but he's added a cap, too. Also in the ranks, Big Tex McKenzie, big man from the Alamo! Tex stood a mighty 6' 9", and once even tagged in Dallas with the Big Cat, Ernie Ladd, who was of like height. And a real bruiser, the man of the hour, Dick the Bulldog Brower. Brower was a colossal heel in his day, known for fighting dirty, and being an absolute nutjob during interviews. And last, more of a guest spot for the IWA collection, the Giant Haystacks pays a visit from Great Britain, crushing the competition internationally (the Giant Haystacks tights by Ralph's Figure Clothing, fur wrap by me). Mean Gene Okerlund is a minor custom here, as I added a neck swivel to the WCW figure. This needs to be a pic fed:) Blown away, phenomenal..

Great to see more from you garbagemon! I just happened to watch a little bit of IWA action on Youtube recently, and then I see this post - I'm totally stoked over these! As mentioned in a previous post, Mighty Igor is a great likeness with awesome accessories, just a top notch job. And I never in a million years thought I'd ever see an Ivan Kalmikoff custom (how many people here would even know who he is without Google search? Lol!)
You told me some time back you had a Tex McKenzie in the works and what a fantastic job you did. Another great likeness which is sometimes hard to pull off with someone like Tex who despite being fairly tall, had a bit of a generic look.
Bulldog Brower? Damn, this is one great looking custom. Brower was absolutely nuts and this custom captures his deranged look perfectly! I honestly can't think of one thing about this custom to complain about.
Giant Haystacks was another added surprise another wrestler that I don't recall seeing a custom of. And once again, a tremendous likeness - the clothing from Ralph's and the fur vest really does the trick here.
With so many IWA mainstays, have you considered a custom of IWA announcer, Jack Reynolds? And any updates on the Mil Mascaras custom we spoke of some time ago? I have a Jakks scale Mil Mascaras casted head that I was hoping to send to you, but we moved into a new house back in April and all of my custom fodder has ended up in storage for the time being.
There are some great customs on these boards, but I'll always have a fondness for "old school" guys like these. Can't wait to see who you have next!

Thank you both MSF and ravensflockwcw! Half the fun of these figures came in poring over google image results and old videos trying to figure out details. Jack Reynolds, MSF? Hmmm, that may just have to go onto the list!

Back for more at last, some other notable guests to the IWA. First off, we have my rendition of the October 1978 cover of Wrestling Monthly, Bobo Brazil meets the Mighty Igor!

And finally, hot off the presses, the Big Cat himself, Ernie Ladd gives his two cents about his next match with "Andre the Dummy."

A new addition, fresh off of the bench. He likes to hurt people, he's known for his heart punch, it's the fabulous Ox Baker!

I wasn't completely happy with how my Ernie Ladd turned out, it seemed like his eyes were not exactly the way I wanted them. I watched a lot of his interviews, and he squints a lot! I tried to change my own to match:

Good lord, these are amazing! That Ox Baker is spot on! And as much I detest Shirley Crabtree, you've nailed the likeness entirely.
I really enjoy your work! Great job!

Great, great work to see Sir. Excellent to see figures of so many wrestlers that most on the board will barely have heard of. Having grown up on World Of Sport on ITV Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy are my favourites, agree that the updated Ernie Ladd is a great improvement as well. Keep up the sterling work.

Ox Baker was a lot of fun to put together. I'll admit, I wasn't even planning to make Big Daddy. But, with the Giant Haystacks being put together, I couldn't very well leave out his arch nemesis. More surprises to come!

I really enjoyed the World of Sport intro, I've only recently gotten into watching some of the old ITV matches. Big Daddy seems to have been the Hulk Hogan of the UK!
