I signed up in a league on the NFL Fantasy Football and its in a live draft. I hhavn't ever done a live draft before though. Do you just go to the site for the live draft or what? Any help is appreciated.

I always take a RB with the first pick. That is usually your best bet.

Peyton Manning will produce alot more points then any RB would.

Peyton Manning will produce alot more points then any RB would. Right, but unless you're banking on him throwing 49 TD's again, he's not going to score enough to put him at a rank above Tomlinson. Tomlinson is clearly the best back in the league and the drop-off from him to say the #5 back on most people's Running Back list is pretty significant. Whereas, with QB's, there's so much depth. You could pick the guy who you believe to be #6-10 on your list and he could still be a high scorer. This may not be the case with RB.

peyton manning will NOT produce a lot more points than any RB, especially an RB who's involved in the passing offense like tomlinson, james and alexander.
manning won't have another 49 TD season, don't fool yourself... 4,000 yards, 35 TD's, 10+ INT's this year. anyone who picks him before the 10th pick in the draft is crazy.

Agreed. But then again, I am pretty sure that in the two "real" drafts I do with different groups of friends, that he will go top 6 for sure.

Good, let him go and take a QB like Brett Favre, David Carr, Marc Bulger, etc. Those guys put up pretty ing good stats and aren't considered top fantasy picks. You should be able to pick them up after you've drafted a few good RB's and receivers.
