Again it has nothing to do with her being Heel. She could be a face and do face things people will still boo her. She has X-Pac heat. X-Pac had heat because of how he turned on Kane though, after befriending him and teaching him to be human. I don't think Eva Marie did any of that so far. Eva has Honky Tonk Man heat. Where fans want her off the screen and far away from them as possible. That's not X-Pac Heat, dude. You should know about this being such a fan of HBK/Nash, surely? As a clique guy I mean. X-Pac heat is when a character refuses to grow and change, casing point; X-Pac. The same character from his return to the WWE in 1998, to when he left in 2002. DX, X-Factor, InVasion, NWO. All the exact same character.

Eva's killing it right now. I'm almost well aware she knows she's not the greatest in the ring but let's give credit where credit is due. She's improved a ton. That match she had with Asuka at the last set of NXT tapings that didn't air. She did a pretty damn good job. Not even gonna lie, I honestly hope she is crowned the new SmackDown Women's Champion. Why? Because the person who takes it off of her will be an instant favorite and will probably result in the pop of the century. Also, if people feel the need to crap on Eva....just watch this:

Dude xpac had heat because they put him in that angle where he was abusive to Tori. But that's Not X-Pac heat. I guess I don't agree on the term then. Xpac was very popular until the xfactor run.

I think what they are trying to do is have Eva have all these problems leading up to that big main match and then have her dominate the match and win.
Of course, she could pull off the greatest women's match ever, but those who hate Eva will still find ways to say she sucks and what not.

People dislike Eva because she's a throwback to the era of women's wrestling everyone would rather forget - really hot women who can't go and make a mockery of what the talented girls do in the ring. Whether or not Eva is that bad is debatable, but putting a Women's Championship on her, especially making her the first person to hold the title, will immediately undermine the credibility of that title and send a clear message that it's not to be taken seriously. The dislike for Eva Marie transcends beyond being a heel. It emanates from her being really bad at her job. She's not a good worker. She's not a compelling character. She's not believable. WWE has spent the last year trying to condition the fans to believe that women's wrestling matters. Putting Eva Marie in a prominent role where she's allowed to hang with the likes of Becky Lynch and Natalya would completely undo that. It's not believable. That's not to say I believe Eva has no place in the company. They obviously like her, and she's good for Total Divas. I just don't think her place is in the ring in a women's division that exists as it does in 2016.

She's hot as hell...but still terrible in the ring & on the mic. Agreed... It's totally expected that people are trying to hard to talk themselves into her, though. She isn't the least talented diva/women's wrestler ever, for sure, but she's probably the least talented on the roster right now.

There was a 2013 Diva search?

I still like Eva. I've learned to not let what anyone says bother me or rethink my opinions. Especially people on wfigs.

i'd say at this point, Eva is growing on me.. although really slowly. She's continued to improve in the ring and in character. I do think she still doesn't look completely comfortable with her character yet. it seemed to show in the last Smacktalk when she was on.

No no no........X-Pac got heat because he turned on Kane when they were THE hottest thing in the company not named The Rock or Stone Cold...

We were closer to seeing Eva Marie's titties than ever this week and you are all talking about X Pac.
This storyline is her way out of the X Pac heat and into legitimate heel heat. She did a decent promo and I think that her (inept, undeserving) character can be built upon and give people a reason to hate her other than just the fact that she sucks.
