Smackdown spoilers have been posted. Guess which local jerk wins the US title back? None other than AlBoreto Del Rio! I am so angry Kalisto was fed to some loser who was relevant in 2011, to try to get this lame brained, uncharismatic, piece of stale bread over when he can't receive a reaction if he screamed "I LOVE ISIS" I have so many words to say but I'm going to choose not to say them. I feel your pain.  I guess my Jericho as the next US Champ recent thread doesn't need to be locked because he could still be the next one now that Del Rio won it again. I highly doubt they would have Kalisto win the belt again so soon so I think Del Rio moves on to other challengers after he gives Kalisto his rematch clause. |

Dude calm down. Barrett cheated to help Del Rio win it back. It says before the match, Kalisto cut a promo name dropping Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero and says he will "thrive in the land of the giants." He'll most likely get his rematch at the Royal Rumble and probably win.

I called this one in the "Kalisto" thread for the WWE section on here.
I said that I had a feeling Kalisto's reign would be treated as an upset fluke and he would lose it on Smackdown back to Del Rio. Some times I hate it when I am right.

Theres literally no reason to have Kalisto beat ADR clean on RAW only to lose 3 days later on SD... It does nothing for anybody.

I just don't understand why. It would make more sense for Del Rio to get a leg on the ropes win on Raw and a Barrett aided win on SD to set up a match at the Rumble.
You know, proper heel/face booking.

People need to relax. It's not like they jobbed him. He beat Del Rio CLEAN on RAW, and on Smackdown it took the entire League of Nations to beat him! It's a WRESTLING ANGLE. If Kalisto wins the re-match the STORY IS OVER. Kalisto getting screwed out of the title means WWE has faith in him because they are building a story around him. They will wrestle again, and the story will culminate with Kalisto overcoming Del RIo and the League for the US Title.
How do people not understand this? In kayfabe, when your character is getting screwed, it really means you are being pushed! McMahon trying to screw Austin all those years and trying to keep the belt off of him....the Authority screwing Daniel Bryan.....if Daniel Bryan had just won the title and been allowed to keep it on his first shot, the story would have been over and done with. But instead, they built it up and built it up and built it up to the point where we could have the WM30 moment. The fact that people got so pissed about Daniel Bryan to the point where they thought he was being mistreated and should actually QUIT THE COMPANY just proves that WWE is right and there are a lot of marks out there who fall for this stuff and in 2016 don't understand that it's all a big scripted story.
Kalisto will be fine. I think WWE realizes that they probably have the next Rey Mysterio on their hands, and they want to take advantage of this.

I like Del Rio, but they should have kept the belt on Kalisto. Hopefully he will win it back at the royal rumble.

I don't like when they play hot potato with a title. I also think Del Rio is a complete waste of time and effort, and so everything about this is pretty awful to me.

I'm dreading this feud. I can easily see the writers giving us two months of bad promos and average matches leading to a ladder match at Wrestlemania between ADR and Kalisto for custody of Kalisto's son.
