ok, since im trying to build a huge sabu collection, i was obsessed with the "high flyers" unreleased figure. so rather then throwing in the towel, i made my own! let me know what you all think. first heres the link to a pic of the fig from the database: www.wrestlingfigs.com/figure.php?id=3280now heres mine! heres the other sabu i made. its nothing fancy, just a different color for the pants and a "just busted open" look. used flash here to really show the wet look of the blood. i sealed the paint then used a gloss coat and a small brush to give it that shine. now heres a finishing moves styled sabu. was really hard to get him to hold the chair for the araibian facebuster! the cloth pants came from some knock off barbie/bratz type doll.

The front looks oversculpted to me but the back is perfect. Painting on the tights looks good though.

chop off the arms at the bicep and and hands and have them look mormal to have a normal look instead of a monkey looking set of sabu arms, but i like it so far, if i had a sabu of OSFTM i would slice the head off out a RA and change the arms like i said above and also remove the action button on the back of the sabu.

i wanted to keep the fig looking exactly as is, so it would look like an actual OSFTM fig.

Very near perfect replica of the unproduced prototype.
If you were a dishonest person you might pass it off as authentic and sell it on eBay.
Very well done!

That looks great.
You should use your other Sabu to make a custom of him from his infamous barbed wire match with Terry Funk where he wrapped barbed wire around his own leg! You could some take the paint off and mod the leg as such so it looks like ripped pants and put the barbed wire around it. That'd be sweet and a challenge to try!

Very nice! I loved the San Fran ECW figs and I think I have 1 of each that were released. They are all opened, though. I really dig that Sabu!!!
