JPD- Amazing painting, good choice, head works very well, tights seem very accurate, great job look forward to seeing more from you

Megawarlord- Good enough for me, I thought the kishi was a little weak, so I give you the knod.

4lk- Just a sweet paintjob, this match could go either way.

Bartman- AMAZING! Awesomest piece of Macho Man ever! What is that made out of?

Angus- Love the idea, you pulled it off pretty good, looks pretty accurate too.

2. Megawarlord- The mask and "skirt" are very well done.

3. 4lk- Great parts, painting and modding. I would have said CustomKenny, but 4lk's parts and painting is smoother.

4. Bartman- I love Oozing Machismo's idea for Santino, but it was excecuted poorly. Pilko's Bulldog is great as well, but the Savage is close to one of the best customs I've ever see. OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

5. Tibbs1984- I love the idea and the smooth paint job. That's why he gets my vote.

I don't really have any guidelines in terms of that. Last time there was a toybiz. Unless the stip requires it, I'm kind of neutral.

I think it's pretty wide open. You can use any kind of figure to customize as long as it's not against the stipulation. You couldn't use a TTL in a battle of DAs, but other than that I think it's anything goes, parts wise.

Match 1: Im gonna have to go with JPD. that Crush looks incredibly awesome. The paint job, the head choice. very accurate in my eyes. To be honest, it really looks like Crush. I am not too fond with Texacide's head choice for Owen, but the attire looks pretty awesome. I just like JPD's Crush overall.

Match 2: It's a very tough choice but im going with TCKDeen. His Rikishi looks well done even though it looks a bit plain, it's still very dead on. The quality looks better than Megawarlord's. Relik looks pretty good. I enjoy the head choice but the rest of the body seems too sloppy, Painting wise. TCKDeen gets my vote.

Match 3: This one is also tough but im gonna have to go with Custom Kenny's CM Punk. As much as i hate CM Punk, that dont matter here. the figure looks very well done. the paint job looks awesome and very accurate. 4LK's Naomichi looks very cool as well. I hate nothing about it but i just think the CM Punk looks better.

Match 4: im gonna have to go with the man who oozes machismo! that Santino looks incredibly amazing! the way the jacket was painted, the molded on pads. Simply amazing. Jpilkos Bulldog looks great just the hair isnt doing it for me. im not too fond of it but the idea is awesome. never seen a custom with non-breaded Bulldog hair. As for Bartman's Macho man, looks really cool. the idea is very unique and i like it. i just like that Santino better.

Newb Match: since there can be 2 winners this is still a great match for the newcomers as this is my first attendance at a customania! Dr. Angus and NY Dream get my vote on this one. Never ever would i imagine someone doing a Scotty Flamingo. Looks very cool and very colourful. Very unique idea and for that he gets my vote. The early hogan looks ok but there's just something about it that doesnt looks right. the skin tone or the looks on his face . Old school Tista looks pretty cool but too plain for me i guess Still a great effort and he gets my vote. he early hogan looks ok but there's just something about it that doesnt looks right. the skin tone or the looks on his face :-/Ace Steel ...well i dont know who he is??? but looks cool.

match 1: texacide
he did a great job on the painting and neatness. its very smooth a he posted clear pics. JPD could have had a chance of my vote, but he took poor pics...

match 2: TCKDeen
megawarlord actually made a pretty good custom, but he also didnt take very good pics. he also didnt paint some parts very well. like the wrist take has un-painted areas. im not sure how well the mask is sculpted, again, the bad pics. the skirt also isnt very neat.
Deen did great on the body and skintone. it looks really great. it is even and the parts work well.

match 3:4LK
this was pretty close, but 4LKs custom is much more elaborate and has more modding. the punk is very good though.

match 4: OozingMachismo
this is a great match and all the figures look great. the detail on them is very good, but the one that shines above is the santino. the sculpting is dead on, and the painting is even and smooth.
the macho man and bulldog were both great, especially the painting, but there was more modding done on santino

newb matchup: Dr. Angus & shooter
dr angus clearly won this matchup, compared to the others, his custom blows theirs away. shooter needs better pics, but from what i see he has a very nice design. i think i see a bit of extra red on the tights though, but it is not as bad as the other customs. the others arent bad, but the painting is less neat, and the hogans skintone is way off. the chest hair is also sloppily done.
in all the newbs did very good.

Match 1:
Both customs look great. The head choice for Owen isn't that bad.. but it still needs some modifications ( that jawline is way too prominent for Owen) Paintjobs on both look clean, but there is just something about the Owen that seems very.. well "bleh" to me. Maybe it's the attire choice (seeing as that was one of his much lamer (in my opinion) attires), I guess it doesn't translate well into a "Wow" custom. This is a tough vote since I love seeing innovation and originality and we've never seen that head used for Owen. I'm going to go with the Krush here.

Match 2:
Personally, I have not seen "Rellik" on TV, but from the few reference pictures and other customs I've seen of him, I think I get the gist of what he looks like. Right off the bat (Knowing that he's Johnny Stamboli) you're missing the tats. Attire wise, it's pretty accurate. You need to watch your paintjobs though. I see a lot of excess black paint on the knees and above the back of the left boot.

Rikishi is nice, the only thing bothering me is the hair. Did you resculpt it? If so, I would have left the original hair on it (not because you're a bad sculptor or anything but the original sculpt is a really good one. I'm going with the Kishi on this one, simply because it's much cleaner.

Match 3:
Come on? A ROH Punk? I thought those days were over. The Punk is pretty simple, and a tad inaccurate. Between myself and jsh, well, we've done so many Punks that we know which tats he had when. In ROH, Punk didn't have the full sleeve, the coy fish or the blue smoke. I understand that you didn't want to paint them and that Jakks already supplied you with them painted on, but come on... this is CUSTOMANIA, the grand-daddy of them all. I'll commend you on the shorts, they look good and they're painted very nicely.

Naomichi looks great. I love the parts choice, that new Rey torso really has the Japanese feel to it when used correctly. Tights look clean and the modifications to the Tajiri head look good. Great job.

first off, i wana say sorry for the bad pics, i tried to do everything i could to get ahold of another camera to use...

anyways heres my votes...

rikishi-looks pretty much flawless, very clean and smooth painting. the relik looks a little sloppy, its still very good, but in comparison, the rikishi is the better of the 2.

this was tough, but im guna hafta go with marujufi, the part choice looks to be very good, and the painting looks great. cm punk was good too, but just cuz u used the jakks tattoos and stuff instead of painting...

santino - i knew this from the start, not because i didnt like the other two, i just think this one came out marvelous. i see no flaws(other than i think the sealer may be too glossy, but ive had that problem, so i cant talk, and it could just be the flash), i like the head choice for bulldog, but i dont like the hair. and i like the macho man but i feel it may not have been as hard since its of a larger scale.

thats all i can do for now, i gotta run, ill vote on the newb match when i get home from work. thanks guys.

first off, dr. angus had a very detailed and impressively accurate looking custom. tibbs has a very smooth looking custom, tho i dont like the skin tone much, its a bit pale(maybe a more glossy sealer would help). nydream's custom is nice, and truthfully i was thinking about picking it, but what threw me off is that it looks like u sculpted over the hair, when at first i thought u dremeled it off. it just makes the head look way too big, other than that its good. shooter's is pretty good, i would like some more upclose pics of the tights. also, im not sure on the torso choice/looks like the hair could have a bit more blonde in it too. good work to all of u tho!

JPD vs. Texacide

JPD's Crush- I don't think I've seen a Crush with this singlet yet. Originally I thought the head was a Nash head but upon further inspection, it looks to be a Pillman head, which works quite nicely. I think all the colors stand out nicely and pop just right. The makeup on the face looks good.

Texacide's Owen Hart- The parts seem to work well. The painting looks really good, even though it's simple being all lines. I'm not a fan of the head. It doesn't look to be modded at all, just put on there. Doesn't really match Owen much from this time period either. I don't think it bares much resemblance to Owen either.

My vote goes to JPD's Crush.

Megawarlord vs. TCKDeen

Rellik- I like the accessory of the robe in the first pic, even if it is (I believe) a BCA Taker robe, The body choice is decent, I'm not too big on DAs. The head seems to be a Gymini head with the mask sculpted one. I would've much rather seen a more modded head. The wristtape works. Seems like you forgot some tattoos that he has. The attire is kinda plain but the belt makes up for it.

Rikishi- Haven't seen many Rikishi figures in a while. The head is just a TTL one modded up to fit but it works nice. The skintone is a bit off from the TTL figure but it's not terrible. The part choices are the best but the new Umaga torso would've been so much better. He needs manboobs. The TTL belt works well. The bottom half looks good. The kickpads look good. I wish the tights were more like his (wedgie style) instead of the way they are.

I give this match to TCKDeen,

Customkenny vs. 4LK

CM Punk-
I haven't seen many old school Punks using his real scan stuff. The head works good, seeing as it's a realscan. The torso/arms look good but Punk did not have the fish tattoo when he wore these shorts. I don't even think he had the card (ace) tattoo either. The shorts look good. Kudos to you for painting yellow. The PUNK looks a bit chunky. The pepsi logos look ok but they aren't exactly even. The modding on the Noble jeans look good. The black/silver lines look good as well. The lower legs work too.

Marufuji-
The head looks pretty good. The hair looks kind of like a helmet, needs to be a bit more wavy but besides that, it works. The body is the newest Rey body and it looks really good. The torso and arms work the best. The skintone seems to be a little bit off but it's not too bad. I love the pants. The mold works the best. The painting on the pants is the best thing about the figure. All the colors work well and aren't just there. I wish the gray/silver popped a little bit more but it looks good either way.

My vote goes to 4LK and his Marufuji

J Pilko vs. Oozing vs.Bartman

British Bulldog-
First thing I notice, the skintone doesn't match, which bugs the HELL out of me. Instantly makes an awesome custom into a not so awesome custom. I'm not too big on the hair sculpt either. The painting on the tights looks nice. The lines are a bit shaky, especially on the kneepads. The right leg (left in the pic) flag is very bad while the other one is really good. The tassles are a nice touch but I seem to remember Bulldog's going all the way around. Maybe not.

Santino Marella-
I believe that's an angry Angle scan modded up. The cheeks seem a bit too big but it doesn't look terrible. I think the hair is perfect for his Mohawk/Mullet combo. Absolutely genius idea to use the Strike Force torso for his jacket, I would've never thought of that. The painting on the jacket looks awesome. The logo and the font on the back look perfectly painted. The tights look good and took some modding since Santino's tights aren't "normal" like most figures are. There's something on his leg that I can't make out. I'm not sure if that is a tattoo or what. I'm not a fan of the sculpted kneepads. I would've much rather seen some RA/DA pads with the white circle around them.

Macho Man-
I'm pretty sure this is an old WCW figure of Goldberg modded up. Mainly cos I have one still MOC after getting it in middle school. It is for sure a custom seeing how I never expected to see one of those used. The head works very well. The sculpted headband, glasses, and hair really turn this figure from Goldberg to Macho Man. The skintone is pretty good, kinda pale considering Macho Man has always been very tan. The tights/kneepads/boots all look good. Very original idea using the WCW figure.

My vote goes to Oozing. I just loved the Santino a little more than the Macho Man.

NEWB INVITE

Scotty Flamingo-
To say I wasn't impressed would be lying. The head is actually a pretty good idea. The headband looks to be sculpted on, I think it would've looked better painted one, to give it that tight look. The hair piece works pretty well and good attention to detail with the bangs on the headband. The attire looks pretty good. It seems a bit too red and not pink enough. The boots look good. I think elbowpads instead of kneepads would've looked better. Could've shown more of the shin more. I think the older singlet torso would've worked better as well. The only other thing I would've liked to see is a jacket. It just would've been a rad accessory.

Sterling Golden/Hulk Hogan-
To be honest, the skintone kills the figure for me. As you can see in the picture, Hogan was pretty tan and the figure just comes off as pale. He doesn't seem to have a thick mustache in that pic but on your figure he does. The part choices are good. The chest hair should be darker, almost black.

Leviathan-
Seems like it's just a DA Batista with longer shorts. I would've picked another Batista head because it seems like you lost the shape on this one. The head is incredible uneven in the back. From the front, it looks fine but the side view really makes it look uneven. It was a good idea but the execution could've been better.

Ace Steel-
I'm a pretty big indy fan, so I know Ace Steel and the head does him justice, haha. The hair could use a little bit more texture. The parts seem to work. The new rey/Regal torso would probably look better on him. You missd the wrist tape which takes away a couple points. Especially since you would've had to paint the excess wristtape to match Steel's. The ACE and tight designs look very smooth except for inbetween the legs, it seems like the red doesn't match up well. Besides those 2 things, top notch.

My vote goes to Dr. Angus and Shooter.

firstly it must be the camera flash as its a brody torso, with cs 7 davey head and da dykstra arms so it has to be the flash

the details in these are amazing espcially jaypilko's as i can remember being young and growing up with bulldog and apart from the cs7 figure this is purely amazing 10/10 can see no flaws
