Congrats to the Sharks on winning their first ever Stanley Cup game. But . If the Pens can't take game four, trouble's brewing I think. The Sharks are finally alive, and that's terrible for the Pens.

As much as I want to get excited, I'm not going to yet. I don't want to end up feeling like Detroit did back in 2009. Christ, between you and NBC mentioning it whenever they get a chance, we get it you guys won the Cup in 2009. Obviously 2009 is still a fresh wound in Detroit and if I offended you my apologies, that wasn't my intention. My point was I don't want what happened to the Red Wings then to happen to the Pens now.

It's gonna. If the Sharks win tomorrow, the series is over barring injury. I can't see the Pens being able to mentally cope; you could tell last night they were almost ready to waive the flag. Still hope, but I'm scared. I've said from the onstart of the playoffs their inability to hold leads would cost them. It almost cost them with Tampa...San Jose might just be able to do them in.

No worries dude lol NBC just takes any advantage to mention that Pittsburgh beat Detroit in 2009 and it got annoying fast.

I know you and I normally play nice despite your hatred for the Pens, but them talking the Pens Cup history during the Cup...kinda...ya know...makes sense.

SURVIVAL PT. 3!
The Cup will be in Pittsburgh for the first time since 2009. Here's hoping they can keep it there with a win.

Matt Murray crapped the bed in game 3. In game 4, he had a monster effort. Didn't let the bad game phase him. So calm and composed in net. Gives the team in front of him confidence. The cup isn't a given yet, Penguins can still blow it. But this season shows how much the Penguins needed depth up front, especially in the bottom six. Rutherford has made some poor trades, but he also built this team to be a better playoff squad. Props to new coach Sullivan as well. Plays to the players strengths, and doesn't try to force players into situations or playing systems that they can't succeed at. It's night and day compared to Bylsma and Johnson.

Well, the big day is here tomorrow. See if the Pens can win it at home.

I just hope Pittsburgh doesn't burn down like it did when they won the Cup in 2009...in Detroit.

I don't have enough words to express how excited I am about what I hope happens tonight. I will not say what it is because I don't want to jinx anything.

The Pens are still up 3-2, so I'm still going to remain calm.
However, if the Sharks win on Sunday, that's a different story.

We all know winning that 4th game is always the hardest.
But if you fail after three tries then you definitely don't deserve it.
RIP Gordie Howe

Pens dominated possession and shots. People are overreacting. They outplayed San Jose. Jones stole a win
