get some testors dullcoat and respray it. its way to glossy.
as for the custom, it looks nice. skinton seems good, mabye too pale. the black looks very clumpy though...

I didnt know how to sand stuff off clean and i just tried it. It is a lil pale but at least it matches.. I would go back and fix it but i like it the way it is..... |

If you sanded it, then sand it more with a finer grid. So it would be smoother.
As for it being so shiny, if you get testors dullcoat, it knocks down the shine. You should really use it on your figure

interesting idea, but I still think that Rulers of the Ring series 2 isn't worth messing up. sure it's a TTL, but it's got the bendable elbows and came with the fightin' sticks. And in my opinion it's got the best (and most rarely used) torso of pretty much any and all figs from the BCA days to now.
I have it right along side of the best figs I have and it's fine to me.

pretty unique idea. i never seen a Steve Blackman custom so this is pretty cool. just the figure looks too shiny. but it's still pretty awesome.
