The Jarrett looks good so far, and the Helms head works ok for him. I've found that the Heidenriech head with a painted or modded goatee works better JJ. Just a note on the trunks as that design had a black line that ran diagonally from the point on underneath the J's on the side to the middle of the crotch and ass of that particular trunk. Example: He also had a unique kneepad design: Otherwise it's looking great. Can't wait to see Owen in the "OH" design.

I have the kneepads done, and have to do the striping as you mentioned in your post. Funny you should be using that pic, because that's the ref pic for my owen!

Just saw the steiners, I'm not happy with them as they are completely inaccurate, but that is all I will say, otherwise good job.

Is Savage for sale? I don't need packaging made as I open these up anyway, but he would need shades, a headband, and a robe.

mmm...
Don't really care for any of them really.
If you made them just to play with them or for your own personal display then that is cool...but if you made them to make a profit and to try and fool some of these kids who think you actually painted the logos and designs, then that is wrong. Because if nobody would have asked you, you would never have said anything about using decals.
It pretty much defeats the whole purpose of a "custom". What used to be an art form has now been reduced to something that anyone can do by the use of decals to make a quick buck. It sucks.

What used to be an art form has now been reduced to something that anyone can do by the use of decals to make a quick buck. It sucks. that's a big load of crap. i ALWAYS HAVE BEEN OPEN TO EVERYONE ABOUT USING DECALS! (I have even had many requests for them). I have to make the decals just the same as anyone would have to paint theirs. Try to make a brock lesnar back tattoo from scratch in illustrator, It took nearly 8 hours. I never just pull an image from the net and call it a decal, that would not only be stealing, but lazy as well. each and every decal on my figures is custom. it's not like they are stickers, they are actual waterslide decals that are very delicate, (the kind used on models) and are sealed to the figure. I put just as much work into my stuff (maybe more) that anyone else. The result speaks for itself. They are supposed to look as good as they can, and by using a greater array of tools and tallents i have at my disposal, i can achieve a look that would be better than traditional techniques. It's like saying: "hey yours doesn't count you used a paintbrush smaller than the ones i have". or using a head from a hulk hogan to make a hollywood hogan. It's not my fault that i am very experienced in graphic design and choose to express my artistic views through another medium. You may not choose to use these methods, and that's fine. But to cheapen someone elses work by calling them a fraud is completely unnecesary and an insult to those of us that can think outside the box. good day to you..... I SAID GOOD DAY!

I SAID GOOD DAY! riiiiiiiiight.... so this is putting just as much.....wait no....MORE effort than any of these guys ever did? That is such a ridiculous statement. Don't be fooled by todays product on the customs board. This place actually used to be filled with guys that could not only print cute little decals but could paint and sculpt. So for you to say you put as much effort if not more than anyone is a complete slap in the face to guys who would work for weeks on a 1 damn custom.

yeah, been there done that i can sculpt and paint, but look at that stuff, they are more statues than action figures. where is the playability? do they fit well with existing product lines? no. not that they aren't good, but they are not what i would go for. the pinhead was done years ago i am much better now I have other stuff i can take pics of too, that show my progress (i did a complete 12" GWAR line, that was in mags.) Customs, should be as close to or indistinguishable from the existing product line. and yes, i would say i do put in as much effort
