i guarantee the dimensions of the Sting proto pic is skewed.
Stretch the photo lengthwise and it looks more like a Mattel pic. I think that Paul site messed up the pic when he put his logo on it in Photoshop.
Sting will look better than what that photo makes it appear.

i FULLY expect Elite 40 and some of 41.
40 and 41 will probably both be out by the end of this year, and if we don't even see Elite 40?
It'll be ridiculous especially since we've seen everything and because Elite 39 will be out a 1-3 weeks after RSF...

Second Sting pic on page six looks good. I would have done his black shirt as he only wore the red one once in WWE. Personally I would have preferred a cloth short over a singlet rather than the half assed jacket.
Sid face perfectly captures his psycho grin.
Godfather and Bulldog look awesome.

Some of you guys are doing way too much. The Sting photo is stretched and skewed. Sid had that crazy smile that look like he was shitting himself. Some of you are making this forum really unbearable. Now what's unacceptable is how the IC title is using two different logos.

I see what's wrong with Sting.
His face is too wide. If it was thinner, I think it would be a huge improvement.
Still, I like it the more I see it!

Not digging Sting's scan at all. It looks way too cartoony and the hair is too flat and should be higher up on the head. I'm not a huge fan of the attire choice, but I'm assuming they wanted to do him in this look since they'll eventually do a WM31 figure and didn't want them to look too similar to each other.
Godfather, Sid and Bulldog all look fantastic and are must-buys for me.
Ziggler is a huge disappointment. We waited all this time for an updated Elite Ziggler and all they gave us was a previously-used head scan with longer hair? He doesn't even have his brown roots showing even though his hair has looked like that for years now. The t-shirt is also way too big and bulky for him and isn't even the style of the on that he wears to the ring. They should've given him a hoodie instead like E29 Punk's. I won't even bother to complain about the oversized arms/torso/legs because that's been beaten to death already since E19.

Sting looks a little better from the other angle:  I think Ziggler is supposed to be from the Survivor Series 2014-ish time frame. Those look like the silver trunks he wore for that match but the boots are wrong. Pretty sure he switched to that boot look at TLC 14 for the first time. I don't want to be too critical because he could have worn that specific attire combo between TLC and January, and maybe I just don't remember it, but it seems like a mash-up. Not what I was hoping for and they still used the too jacked torso and arms. Meh. I'll probably just get a Basic with the newer scan. Pretty let down. Sid should have 100% had a serious look on his face. That being said, I'll buy it and it looks pretty good but just not the way to go imo. Godfather and Bulldog, and really Mizdow, are fantastic. Ziggler started wearing the black boots at TLC 2014. He wore the Survivor Series trunks with the black boots in January/February earlier this year, so it's accurate. And they couldn't even do a t-shirt sleeve mold for Sting? |

It just looks like a basic t-shirt series, and that is terrible considering this is the first current sting figure everyone has been wanting... They're waiting to do a current Sting in wrestling gear until the Wrestlemania 31 set, most likely. If they would've released E39 in wrestling gear, nobody would buy the WM31 figure when it eventually comes out. |

My thoughts:
Godfather: fantastic. Like the accessories, scan is flawless. Wish he had an orange vest but no biggie.
Bulldog: again fantastic. Glad they went with the blue and white. The SS 92 red and blue pants always bugged me. Kinda disappointed they didn't paint the union jack on his wristbands but small price to pay.
Sid: Not 100% likeness but there's something I really like about this figure. I'll be picking it up.
Mizdow: looks great under the jacket, if a little too shredded, musclewise.
Ziggler: Best Ziggler yet imo, minus the overly large shirt. Like the non-yelling/mouth open scan for once.
Sting: Even with the updated pic, just not feeling this one. probably because of the painted red shirt. I'll just wait on WM 31 Sting, and if not, I'll be happy with my DM one.
Overall great set, lots of flashbacks here. Best set in a while.

Mattel should be embarrassed to release that Sting figure. That is one AWFUL figure. It's REALLY bad.
I really don't even know where to start.
The molded on shirt?
The smushing the design onto his crotch?
Why couldn't they just give him a singlet top with a cloth t-shirt? Really it's not hard to make a Sting figure. He's been wearing the same type of outfit for almost 20 years.
The rubber coat is what it is. That's just a cross we have come to learn to bare.....
But the t-shirt top is RIDICULOUS.
There had better be another Elite Sting coming SOON.
