Then, look at the Raw where he saved Orton, it's his singlet. The scorpion claws are nowhere to be seen.




On his Raw Debut, he's clearly wearing the same pants/tights from Survivor Series. (I just couldn't take a clear screen cap. I got these pics from a Google Image Search).

He's literally never wrestled in these tights. We've literally never seen him without a shirt. If he had a cloth shirt, you'd be able to remove it. Then not only would you have an inaccurate look, but Mattel would be taking a shot in the dark trying to figure out what he's wearing underneath--if anything. And, if they were lucky enough to get a confirmation, it'd be a look we never saw on tv.

I just don't see how it could be done more right without sacrificing accuracy.

It could have been just tights cause he has wrestled shirtless and topless. But now we're just nit picking. The figure is growing on me.

Sid = Looks great! Kinda bummed that I just spent a bunch to make a custom version.

Bulldog = Looks great!

Godfather = Looks great BUT...the vest looks strange with no design on the back of it!

Sting = I HATE the molded shirts on Elite figures (See APA). Can't they save that for basic or Wal-Mart series?

Ziggler = Eh, looks okay I guess.

Mizdow = Looks fine to me.

That face sculpt of Bulldog is a work of art, well done Mattel. The most impressive part of his face has to be his chin, they nailed his fat head and double chin, awesome...simply awesome. 10/10

Sid lol...at first I was like wtf but the more I look at it the more im growing to like it. Makes a change compared to the boring straight faces on some figures (Mattel you should have gave HOF Eddie a cheeky grin).

Sting - his lips are too tight together giving the impression he is puckering up to kiss someone...Mattel, you need to change that. Im willing to see how the painted on shirt looks because them rubber vests like the one on Ziggler are awful I hate them, it gives the appearance of a really bulky looking character.

Mizdow looks fine but easy pass

Ziggler another that looks good but them rubber vests have got to go they are AWFUL!!!

Flashbacks look great, Sting needs a face chance, Zigglers rubber vest makes him look too bulky and Mizdow is fine. Overall a good set of figures, flashbacks only for me though.

overall not bad, Godfather and Bulldog are the better ones, Sid, is ok, the smiling im not a fan of, but ill still grab it because ive waited this long for it. New Sting , not sold on yet. I hate these molded coats. blah. and the tucked in look of the shirt isnt a choice i wouldve done. but budget as always not cloth shirt. and the others are easy passes.. Dolph looks average plus hes already changed attires. Mizdow lol , shelf warmer.

As a big Sting fan, I try to document the attires hes worn for when I mod or create him in Wrestling games, and I'm glad I ain't the only one who knows about the singlet.

I hope they don't screw us over when they make more current Stings like 2K have done in WWE 2K16 and give us his late 90s WCW/Early TNA singlet as the one hes worn ever since saving Orton is different than those. I still cant get my head over 2K doing that even with the resources they have.

Oh I know. I'm just trying to show why I believe Mattel went the route it did. I actually like the figure a lot, and I know I can be a bit bias since I'm a huge Sting fan. I Just think it's a very accurate representaiton.

Plus, we get a little bit of his TNA run thrown in there thanks to the glove details.

Wow that Sting looks like trash. I stared at it for a good 5 minutes not even believing my eyes. Has to be the worst figure I've seen from Mattel, esp in the elite line. I do want a modern Stinger, but I'll wait and just get the DM. I need to say I join everyone else with the annoyance with rubber jackets. You can't move the figures in them at all. It is basically a pointless addition. I'd take 2 less figs in a series to get better gear. This is ridiculous.

Godfather looks great, definitely buying it. I still find it hilarious there's a pimp in a children's toy line lmao.

Bulldog looks good too. Might pick him up, but Sid I will need to see more pictures of. I'm more of a Sid Justice blue tights fan, but eh, whatever lol. The figure seems right but at the same time, it doesn't. Weird.

Those shirts are trash, Mattel. They only fit heavyweights like Lesnar yet they throw them with everyone. What the hell happened to cloth shirts? Whatever, that's what Ralphs is for I guess.

I don't mind him being that ripped, as long as Cesaro gets an upgrade and stops looking like he missed 20 meals. Be consistent at least lol.

Good set on paper but it's a bit of a miss overall for me. I don't like getting Jakks vibes from Mattel lol.

I very clearly said ring gear Sting. Would you rather have ring gear Sting with no shirt at all or what we're getting? Because I would certainly pick ring gear Sting.
