I think I might get 2 of Bulldog. I'll put legends3 Bulldog head on e39 body and makelate 95 - mid 96 look.
I'm gonna get Sid no matter what but idk why his hair is red? Doesn't make sense. This is definitely a 97 Sid...he'll go nice with DM hitman, L1 austin, ect.
Godfather the flashback I was looking forward to the LEAST actually turned out the best. I think it's a perfect figure in every way. Definitely getting it now!
Sting. .. a disappointment, will not get.
the other 2 I wasn't planning on getting anyway but Ziggler always looks the same and mizdow looks cool.

Man...so many simple mistakes lately have ruined what should have been great figures. Mattel set their own standard so high, and now so much of what they are doing is a let down. Makes it easy to keep my money.

Why is everyone complaining? They went for the "Sycho Sid" look and I feel they pulled it off.  Because people on are spoiled and feel entitled and feel they should get "HotToys" Quality figures for Mattel prices....
I personally feel like the Hasbro scan beats this one.

sid needed to be on the hillbilly jim buck. the vascularity on the sid figure looks ridiculous head to toe.
goofy smile sid is definitely the last expression i expected. does not look good.
and sting yikes. come on man

I think for Sid, they were going for this look from Sid:  Not a typical happy 'smile' as much of his crazed, nutso look. i can see this expression in the sid sculpt but eyebrows on the proto have this cheeseball goofy sitcom effect. eyebrows need to be painted better to convey the sinister look |

Sid does not look Sycho. He looks screwball, like he should be in a comic book or something. Definitely not the mean, dominating character I remember. This one is Screwball Sid!! Such a huge disappointment after waiting so long for Sid. This feels like the Barry Windham reveal, only 10x worse.
Sting is so bad, I think the lineup would be better off to drop him entirely. As a matter of fact, I think I would pay $20 to keep him out of the assortment and pretend Mattel never made him. hahahahahahahaha
Bulldog looks ok, but does anyone else think he looks like he has a double chin? I mean, you could almost put his head on a platter like you're serving up stuffed pig. |

The Kane torso has a very slim chest and tricep. Which isn't accurate for Sid. In that respect the HHH torso looks better. But the HHH torso has that deep chest ripped muscle...and those super ripped 6pack abs. Which obviously the bulkier Kane torso looks better in that area. So its kind of a toss up. One thing u get with the Kane torso though, is height. Its a taller torso than the HHH torso. So they wouldn't have had to put the figure on stilt legs and tall boots to make him big. |

Sid - You know it's a bad figure when you keep looking at the pictures over and over, hoping that you will change your mind. As for Sting, there's no point in trying.

Godfather is the best figure in the set for me by far. I haven't read the whole thread, but am I the only one who thinks that Bulldog's face looks more like Harry Smith than Davey Boy Smith? Hopefully the final product looks better in person.

Godfather and Davey Boy are perfect. Can't wait to get them. I know some people aren't happy with Sid's headscan. I actually like it. I know people are saying he is smiling, but I kinda see it as his like I have snapped face, which if anyone has seen interview or him doing promos he did that face a lot. I think the underrated figure out of all of them is Mizdow. Besides that torso that seems to be the pick of every HOF2 set it is a AWESOME! Now for Sting, yeah odd choice to have the red painted on shirt. Not really 100% sure what is going on with that. I given in WWE I don't think he has even wore a red shirt not sure what's up, and again I know people aren't the happiest with the headscan, but I don't think it is that bad. As for Ziggler. I have to be honest I hate the headscan. Once I saw it on the basic I knew they would make an Elite with that scan and I just hate it. I mean if it is cheaper to buy the whole set I will buy it but if I don't have to I don't want that Ziggler.

If they made Sting with a singlet instead of the shirt torso, wouldn't you guys be complaining "I just got that Sting in Defining Moments" and "Making me overpay for two of the same Stings is ridiculous!! MATTELLLLL!!!!!"
Maybe Mattel realized this and wanted to give us something different.
As for the Sid torso: Didn't we end up getting a fat Rey Mysterio from jakks because people were complaining about inaccurate torsos?!?!?!?

Now some time has passed since I first saw these, I will say I think that Sid head is a pretty good likeness. But I still don't think the expression choice suits the general demeanor of the character and will continue to ask for another Sid with a serious/mean headscan.

Sid spent the majority of 1996 doing this  not giving SYCHO sid a crazy looking scan wouldn't make any sense. thats like if Mattel make Gangrel and he has his fangs showing.....i best not see u asking for a serious gangrel scan  |

I think the head is just about perfect. It just needs a different look on the face. I don't mind the smile but the eyes don't match. i think it's just the eyebrows are too curved |
