RSF is in like a week and a half. There's no way that the Sting head looks so square and StackDown like in real life. It has to be the way the proto was photographed.

I'm coming around to Sid a bit more each time I look at the pics. Still wish he was straight faced/angry and parts weren't so ripped.
I honestly think that all of these will look much better in hand. Sometimes mattels proto pics are really photoshopped and they look shiny and washed out.
Not to mention the fact that one of Sid's biggest issues is the paint on his face, and I think that honestly will change from proto to final product.
We'll see soon enough!

MattelDesignTeam With Elite 39 Sting and Sid being in prototype phase is it still possible to get Sting in a singlet top instead of the molded red t-shirt? Is it possible to use the less ripped Hillbilly Jim body type for Sid, with some chest hair in the same skin tone you picked? Thanks. I would really appreciate it. Love you guy's hard work and dedication. Keep it up.

I highly doubt it though because EVERY wrestler with that torso is tanned except for the early Cena's |

I see a lot of people calling the British Bulldog figure the greatest in the set & even of all time. I would love to agree, but the face is all wrong. It's clearly Harry Smith, not Davey Boy Smith.  Hopefully the final product will look better in person. |

Harry is Davey's son, if the face doesn't look like the dad to you, then it's a dead ringer for the son so it's all in the family and all good in my books...but it looks like Davey.

Am I wrong for thinking we can get a black trunks Hulk Hogan out of this? Probably a bit on the ripped side for a youngish Japan-era Hogan, but it looks like it could work, no? Did he ever wear black boots with that or was it only ever white or blue? If you want a 7-foot Hogan. EDIT: It doesn't look like the skin tones would match, either. Unfortunately, this figure will be shorter than Hogan. |

Sid had a broad waist and and chest like Hogan, Kane, Taker, Nash. I think they made him too narrow. It looks like a Triple H or Ultimate Warrior with longer legs which doesn't really fit Sid in my opinion. |

The designs on his torso (muscle cuts and skin folds) might match a smaller torso but that doesn't mean he has the same proportion. We'll have to see him matched up against other figures, but if Mattel made a 7-footer in their scale look like he's 6-5 that would be a huge departure from the norm. To me his thighs look as long as Kane's or the Undertaker's. EDIT: And those knee sleeves are petty long. Look at them on Razor compared to Sid. He has plenty of leg room. |
