Did you ever see any wrestlers as a kid that were "popular" but you just never cared about them? Im not talking that you hated the because they were bad guys, but guys that other people seem to like that you just dont have any interest in. For me its Kevin Sullivan. I would see him come on tv in the early 90s with that dungon of doom crap and just roll me eyes and not pay attention. And I was young at the time, prob 7 or 8. I never hated him i just diddnt care, he never got a reaction out of me. Another one for me is Chris Benoit. All murdering aside, i just never cared for him. He was boring on the mic and just seemed to have a boring personality overall. Good wrestler but what a downer. Even after he came to wwe I tried to like him but i just couldnt get myself to care about him.

Diamond Dallas Page. I never understood the hype behind him. Curt Hennig. Yes, I'm the guy that never liked him.

Ric Flair would be the main one. I still don't get it.
Obviously this isn't as a kid as this is a modern guy. Kevin Owens.

Edge. I've seen chicks who can hit a better spear than him. Plus, I was always more of a Christian fan.
The Miz. I could watch my sig all day.

He ended up growing on me and i started liking hin in about 98 but til then i never cared about him. My brother always called him the beach bum guy cuz he looks like a guy that would panhandle on the beach.

Ric Flair would be the main one for me. I do consider him a "great" but I've never connected with him on any significant level. I've never cared for his style, which to this day feels all over the place, I've never cared for or connected with his character, I've never enjoyed his mic work compared to the better mic workers of his era(s), I hate his cartoonish selling which often breaks the believably of a match, he just didn't hang up the boots soon enough from a look and believably standpoint for me. That said, I am a sucker for his chops, "wooo" and his iconic look. @cabbageconkers Scott Steiner, Sid, Demolition, Crush, Warrior, The King, Goldberg... In general I'm not the biggest fan of your more prototypical power guys. I can like notably strong guys, but they are more along the lines of guys like Vader, Taker, Bulldog, Kane, Show, Nash... It took me a looooong time to warm up to HHH, Orton, Eddie, Goldust..... like all of them now, or in the 2nd half of their careers. (Eddie and maybe even Orton make my top 25)

Goldust seems to be the one that's at the top of my mind. I can't really think of anyone else right now that I've disliked that other people enjoyed...

I don't get the hype for edge, christian was way better.
Although I respect him I don't feel anything for the undertaker.
I've never watched a full dolph ziggler match, I always fast forward whatever his doing.

The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Goldberg, and John Cena. All mega popular and I totally get why they reached the level they did. But, I've never thought any of them had mega star level talent and generally shy away from watching most their matches.
Brock Lesnar was one too, but to a lesser extent. I liked his initial run alright enough, particularly when there was a brand split in effect. And I'm fine with his occasional modern appearances as he has had some really fun matches during it. However, I firmly believe that he has no place in the title picture. Was definitely inevitable that he'd be in it because WWE wrote themselves into a corner on it, but...

I could go as far as to say Steve Austin, except that was as a kid. I got that he was popular, but I never got behind him. I always liked Rock more (still do). After watching back stuff from then, I can appreciate what he meant to the industry and how the male audience connected with him as a beer drinking blue collar worker who gets to stick it to his boss. Obviously as a kid I never saw it as that, so The Rock with his funny promos always entertained me infinitely more. I kind of like Austin now, but not as much as others.
Flair is a good shout as others have said. Couldn't care less about him in the WWE. Initially I think (2003 and prior) I saw him as an old legend, who had come from WCW to be in the WWE once more, but after 2005 especially, he just was there. I felt he tarnished his legacy by regularly competing at such a drastically lower level than what I had heard he was capable of (since I had never seen any of his matches prior to late WCW). I just kept hearing about how he was the best wrestler ever and it made me scratch my head. How you could rank him above, say Angle is beyond me. Even Sting is outperforming him now than Flair was at the same age of 56.
And finally I'll say Benoit. Great entrance music, great attire (late WCW-WWE 2003), cool finisher and moveset, looks jakked, but never did anything for me.

I'm going to be that guy and say John Cena. Never cared for him, when I first saw him in his first WWE game, I just thought of him as a generic badly created CAW. I still think that to this day. Do I hate him, not really no, though when I got back in to wrestling in 2008, I immediately got fed up of him, but I just never saw him as "The guy" like Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan or even, if I dare say it, Bret Hart.
The Miz- Just has a generic modern wrestler in trunks & kickpads vibe to me. Nothing stands out, that's probably why he's rather disliked, he's a bit bland to me. Heck he just looks like a random guy they decided is going to wrestle, he doesn't look like a wrestler to me. Just my opinion. I'm surprised he's even remotely popular.

I was the only kid in my town that HATED Hulk Hogan is the 80's and early 90's. People thought something was wrong with me. I heard this exact quote numerous times: "How can you like wrestling but not like Hulk Hogan?"

Daniel Bryan.
I just don't get it. He's the one guy that if you dislike him, it comes across as unholy to his fan base and they grab the torches to defend him.
I just don't get it. I think he's bad on the mic, he comes across as somewhat corny, and I just don't get it.
I have the utmost respect for his relationship with Connor The Crusher and the way he interacts with fans, but as far as his character goes? I'm totally lost as to why people love him so much.

I came into this thread to say that I also dislike Daniel Bryan. I completely agree with everything you have said.

Hulk Hogan is easily at the top of this list The Young Bucks
John Cena Shawn Michaels (Ironically, it was only in between his runs. As a kid, I liked him but always preferred Bret. I didn't like seein ghim randomly appear as Commissioner or anything but loved his second run)

Kane & Bulldog spring instantly to mind.
In a more modern setting it has to be Cena & Zack Ryder.....never got the hype concerning ol Zack.
