Allrite… Customania time again… Looks like a bunch of good stuff this time around… Let’s kick it off…
Tibbs1984 vs. Dr. Angus
Tibbs1984… a good showing here. I enjoy the Rip Rogers a bit… It’s definitely something we don’t see every day, so kudos for that bro… The figure itself is executed fairly well… Obviously you are still relatively new to the game, so I expect errors… I like the head for him a lot. The Spanky head bears a great resemblance to Rogers after the board and added hair. What I like most about the head is the color of the hair… IT just screams bleach blonde without doing what many people do and make is flat yellow. Moving down, the parts choice is decent but not excellent. The size of the torso is good, however the ab and pec definition is not on point… If you were insistent on using that torso I would recommend modding the definition. Arms are decent and give him a bigger look. Not a bad choice. The lower body consists of the obvious choices… The paint job, I have mixed feelings on… While the colors are nice, the consistency of the paint is very thick. I can’t say I am a fan of the skintone on the chest at all… the different tones on the torso looks bad… almost diseased. Other than that the skintone is decent… The pink paint however looks really thick. On the tights, it appears as though it would rub right off if the joint was moved, that’s never good. I appreciate that you added the lace detail and the boot lettering but both are on the sloppy side… Just work on getting your paint consistency smooth, and work some on your detail painting… It’s really a not bad custom and better than I expected.
Now Angus… Dr. Angus…This is actually probably my favorite of your work that I have seen. Everything looks clean and neat, and bears a good resemblance to the Screamin’ One. Let me tell you about what I don’t like… and that’s your pictures. To be successful in customizing you need quality pictures… which you don’t have. Everytime I see your stuff its always tiny pics and bad picture quality. To truly be taken seriously, invest in a decent camera (it doesn’t even have to be expensive) and a good photo set up. It’s how you highlight your work. Now, the actual figure… starting with the head… It’s a very interesting head choice… Norman is a weird looking cat and he’s a tough one to choose a head for… I think you did him justice with the Eddie head and with the modifications you made to it, it works. The mini-afro could have used some more texture however. I like the torso for Norman… it fits his slender figure well and with the modding you did to it, it actually fits his physique well. Arms, however I don’t like… much too big… Cruiser arms or regal arms would have done him much more justice. Legs look good, but the lower legs look a little odd… I can’t tell what you did with them… just look quite awkward… almost like you used jeans lower legs and apinted them up... Im not sure... another reason you need better pics. The paintjob looks quite good and I would say it’s probably your best, the skintone looks quite smooth even though the rest is very basic. I can tell you are taking what people say seriously as you added some accessories… I never fail to mention my love for add-on’s and you paid attention to that… Good man and nice modding to the shoulder pads. I would have preferred his orange/yellow gear, as its more “trademark” and less generic… but its no big deal..
In a fairly tough choice, my vote goes to Angus… He has definitely shown improvement, and deserves the win in this matchup.

Second match…
JPD vs. Megawarlord
JPD… let me start off by saying that I am impressed… I like your Hakushi/Jinsei Shinzaki a lot… in fact it’s possibly the best one I’ve seen. What I enjoy most about this figure is the fact that you used the most effective Jakks parts possible. To me this figure proves that you don’t always have to do a ton of sculpting and modding to put out an effective figure! Which happens to be my theory on customizing. Starting at the top… I looove the Angle head for Shinzaki… Using a seemingly useless head for something and having it turn out great is always awesome. I much prefer it to the Akio head I have seen many times in the past. Moving south, I equally love the torso choice on this figure… The Regal torso fits his physique to a tee and really looks wonderful on this figure. It is not defined and not fat… perfect for Hakushi. Good choice on the arms, work with the torso well to fit his body.. Now, I’ve never been a DA fan, but the Rey leg mold is awesome… it’s very realistic looking and works great for Hakushi. Likewise they work really well with the RA upper body which often times comes out odd looking. Good stuff… Now, the paintjob… It’s decent… overall the skintone looks fairly poor… While the color is great, the consistency looks very thing and clumpy, especially around the elbow joint. The tattoos/paint is very well done! I personally would get bored with that many tiny characters, and I have seen many Hakushi attempts where the symmetry was terribly off. You captured the look wonderfully… All the characters are symmetrical and in proportion with one another and each is detailed and seemingly different. The white pant on the pants looks great from a distance and I know how difficult it can be to paint white, but on the hands and arms it looks fairly thick. One of the problems I often see on the board is paint consistency… IF the paint seems to be going on thick, simply add some water to thin it out… also rather than one singlet clumped on coat, go back and do several thin coats. Other than the symbols on the chest, arms and head, my favorite component of your paintjob is the hair on him… You successfully pulled off the stubble look, which can’t be hard to accomplish. Finally the belt sash looks good. I like how you did that… Really adds to the overall look… Good work bro. Jus the paint thing I can see that you need to work heavily on…
Now… MegaWarlord… Let me simply state, if you would like a mature and detailed critique of your figure and what you need to work on… you need to grow up and be serious… until that time, I refuse to waste time on it.
Winner? JPD easily. Much better figure and shows much more promise in customizing.

Cruiserweight Title Match TitanTrap vs. Razor
Allrite… First off the champion… TitanTrap. Overall this figure looks very nicely done. Starting at the top… I’m just gonna say I’m a bit disappointed with the head… While it does somewhat work, you didn’t mod it at all. It still looks a lot like Randy Orton… The hair mold even is the original Jakks one for Orton, so that does bother me… Moving down, the part choices look good. I like that you used the skinny 123 Kid arms for him to put him more in scale. Also, I enjoy how you modded the torso some to get rid of some of the ab definition. I like the use of the Roberts legs as well. Seeing as they’re pretty much the only skinny legs, they work well for Zach. The lower legs look equally cool with the sneakers and I really appreciate how you sculpted the socks. They look real nice with the texture and everything that you added. Good stuff. The skintone looks good in spots, but also looks bad in other spots. On the head and around the shoulder joints especially it just seems a bit thick. Let’s see… the prosthetic leg looks good, but there’s something a bit odd with it… You mentioned it’s removable, and later provided a pic, but the picture of the leg you provided either doesn’t seem to be the same leg, or it was at a different stage, as there is no sock, and the top of it is more flat than rounded like on the finished product… so there is some controversy there. I like how you added the fake knee joint though… something a lot of people would overlook! The shorts look real nice… Not sure what you used, but they look good either way. The shirt looks good as well… looks to me like a TNA Killings shirt painted maybe? Again, I’m not sure why there is no picture of him wearing it, but I guess that is beside the point… In the future I would recommend taking thorough pics… meaning one with the shirt and shorts on, one with the figure and without the leg attached, etc. On the whole, this is a very solid figure, with only minimal errors. As I mentioned… work on modding heads some more, you will end up with a much more convincing result, thin out your paint and take time with skintones, and make sure you have all the pics you need to show off all the aspects.
Now the challenger… Razor… This Sean O’Haire is a decent playable RA custom, but isn’t real inspiring. Identical or similar customs to this one have been done continuously since Billy debuted the HHH head for O’Haire. I will critique this as best I can, but there really isn’t much to say… The head obviously works… it has for a number of years now… and when modded nicely like you did, it’s the definitive choice. The hair mods look nice and everything. The torso works for this era of O’Haire… It might be a bit slender for him, but it’s probably the best choice. Arm choice is good. Legs appear to be good… There is no picture of the lower legs, which isn’t a good thing… Make sure like with Trap, that when you are taking pictures you have all the pics you need. In this case you definitely need a picture of the full figure from head to toe. I have no idea what boots you used. The painting on this figure overall appears to be good… Although there isn’t a whole lot, and what was done is relatively small, it looks good. His tattoos look accurate and the tights designs look good from what I remember. It is a very solid figure, but repetitive and bland… Had you taken this figure to the next level somehow, my vote could have gone your way… Especially for competition you need to make sure you are making stuff that is going to make your work stand out, not something that will be forgotten in a day or two. Leave people saying “Wow… Remember Razor’s ______”
My vote goes to cruiserweight champion TitanTrap

TCKDeen- I really dig this figure. I believe the head is a Christian, seems to work. All the parts work pretty good. The chest hair looks well done and that's something hard to pull off. Doesn't seem to thick or too perfect. It looks lke you added nipples to the figure but they seem a bit off. The shorts look really good. It's hard to make camo look good and it does. The accessories really help this figure. The contract and the punching bag look really good. The UFC log is a decal but if you painted around it, it wouldn't be so noticeable. It was a hard decision but I think I'm gonna vote for TCKdeen.its actually a charlie haas/cena head that i modded the **** out of the shorts are actually mysterio pants cut around the knee then i cut the snuka legs around the same place glued it then sculpted the end of the pants i worked my ass off on this custom but there is no shame losing to the customania I winner (thats assuming i lose)

Angus : more clean and sclupting on the torso looks great, while I don't like the use of the HW torso for TIBBS.
JPD : Hakushi looks great, love the head choice and it's all around very accurate and the paintjob is extremely smooth.
Tintantrap : Extremely creative and I'm loving the removable leg.
GCS : the paint job is so very smooth and caught my eye right off the bat.
Oozing Machismo : tuff match to be honest 2 great customs but Douglas is all around the cleaner custom and his paintjob is smoother and I love the fact that it's posed.
Beyondo : wow Mankind looks amazing, the only downfall to the fig is he looks to skinny but Muta deff looks great aswell it was a hard choice but ima go with beyondo. outstanding customs to say the very least.
Famousj I'm blown away to be perfectly honest, Ahmed it perfect it's simply amazing. Bravo to both customizers wonderful job.

MATCH 1 Tibbs1984 - Rip Rogers - Starting at the top, I like the hair. Fairly nice job sculpting, and I like the color. The beard looks ok, maybe a little too paint heavy. Skintone looks great, but the wash looks a little rough. The pink tights look good, but, again, maybe a little too heavy with the paint. This is pretty solid. Just a few minor tweaks, and you'll be improving big time. Angus - Norman Smiley - I am very impressed Angus. From the silky smooth skintone, great head modding and ab sculpt, and nice paint application all around, I agree with everyone who's said this is your best showing yet. I never would have thought to use an Eddie head, but it looks great. The accessories only add to it. Kudos dude. Vote: Angus
MATCH 2 JPD - Hakushi - I am a big fan of this figure. Most obviously, the tat work is phenomenal. I do like all the parts too. The Angle head works for an Asian look, and the Regal torso was probably your best bet. Pants looks great too. I'll also say, though, that the painting looks a little clumpy in some areas. Not on the head though. Very nice job with the buzz cut. Great work, man. MegaWarlord - Ultimate Warrior - This is not a figure that was crafted here... it is, itself, a deity that has been formed by the astonishing hands of a mind above all others. To comment on it at all would be blasphemous. Shield your eyes, WF. Our fragile minds can't handle this exposition. Vote - JPD
MATCH 3: TitanTrap - Zach Gowen - Let's get right to it. The leg looks great. The "fake" skintone is a very nice touch, and that's quite an accomplishment to have a removeable leg on this fig and still have it stand on its own. Perfect fit, too. Nice accessories with the shirt and shorts. And I like the socks. Good work! Razor - Sean O'Haire - While I do really like the resemblance in the head, this figure just seems very, very simple. It's unfortunate that you had a mishap in putting a figure together for this show. Props for being able to get something in on time though. Vote - Titantrap
MATCH 4: GateCitySinner - Rad Radford - Wow, dude. I think it's pretty safe to day that you've completely outdone yourself. All the sculpting, from the socks to the kneepads to the one-strap-down singlet (AWESOME) is very well done. The painting looks great, especially the razor sharp center logo. Head has a great Spicoli resemblance, and the hair is great. Your IC champ, ladies and gents. ImportRacer - Little Boogeyman - I'm sorry Import, but I'm a little disappointed. With normal arms and and the short legs, this kinds looks like a normal Boogeyman figure with his legs cut off. It looks out of proportion. However, the skintone does look very good, and the accessories are a nice touch. Vote: Gate
MATCH 5: Beyondo - Mankind - Just fantastic. Perfect sculpting all around - boots, pads, shirt, back symbol, and mask. Very nice addition with the mandible claw. Painting is fantastic all over. Very impressive. Scott Hall - Muta - The torso sculpting looks very good, as well as those wicked hands. Painting looks sharp with the detail in the chest hair and mist. Top notch entrance attire. Guster - Undertaker - It sucks that rotten luck hit you, Guster. Good on you for putting the pieces back together and having this in on time. That being said, I think the tats do look a little rushed, understandably so. The mask does look nice, as does the rest of the painting. Vote: Beyondo
I will vote on the main event tomorrow, as I'm reall ytired now. Great PPV all around, everyone.

Next up we got the big IC title match
GateCitySinner vs. ImportRacer
First off GateCitySinner… First thing I notice about this figure is the originality of it… It seems as though everyone seems to be singing the praises of the originality of Imports figure, but honestly when was the last time you saw a Rad Radford custom let alone any Louie Spicolli custom… Kudos on that bro. I like this figure overall it is very impressive and I would say if not your best, it is definitely up there. The Gymini head works well for him… shows the chubby cheeks and whatnot that are prominent on Spicolli. The hair sculpt looks great as well. Its stringy and greasy lookin’. Moving down… the torso and arms choices are good… I really like the sculpting you did with the singlet. I love how you pulled off the one strap down look… it looks very smooth and professional. Good stuff… The legs are awesome… I really appreciate the work put into the sculpting on the shorts and kneepads… MY favorite thing that was sculpted here was the socks over the boots. They really look realistic with texture and wrinkles and whatnot. Much like the overall custom… the paintjob on the figure looks very clean… IT looks like you painted a skintone, which seems unnecessary, but also very clean and smooth. The problem I see with the painting is that the hair does seem a bit too dark for him… As far as I know Spicolli was always a blonde, and while you may have been going for a wet look, it could still use some lighter colors in there. Also, on the top of the kneepads there seems to be some exposed sculpey which you missed when painting. I love the attention to detail on this figure more than anything… Things like the maroon lining on the singlet top and the mis-matched wrists really make figures more real looking… In addition, you added some sweet accessories. I like the flannel and how it fits on the figure… Nice touch with that. Also the hat.. from what I remember of the Radford gimmick he always had the back unsnapped, and it looks like you cut it to resemble that… Awesome attention to detail. I dig that! Good work bro.. and congrats on a great breakout figure.
Now Import… I said it before I’ll say it again… Gate’s work resembles the style and ability of Import’s more than anyone… and I thought this match-up would be a great one, if both brought their A games… unfortunately for us I don’t believe that Import did bring his best… I’d call it more of his C game. I must say… I was expecting and I know you are capable of much better than this figure represents. It just doesn’t do much for me at all.. It is original in the sense that it is the first mini-Boogeyman… but that’s about it… Midgets have been done in the past, and rather than making it look like the real little Boogeyman.. it just looks like a small Boogeyman. The head doesn’t work at all for Short Sleeve Sampson (who played Little Boogey) It looks nothing like him beyond the face paint… Import, I think you got lazy with the head choice and there are much better heads out there for this figure… Moving down, I appreciate that you modded the torso such that you did… Could use a bit more girth to the stomach area, but it’s not bad… It looks like you might have made the torso a bit shorter too which is a nice touch. The arms choice… decent. I like that you used the skinny arms, but they are waaaaay too long. The proportions are all off on this… had you done something different with the arms and made them a lot shorter it would have looked much better. The legs, I’m kind of on the fence on… While I like that you modded them rather than throwing feet on the knee joint, they just look a bit rough around the bottoms. Again… the proportions of the figure overall are way off. What I like about the paintjob is the smoothness of it… One thing you have almost always done is painted very smooth… This is no different… but there is one huge problem… and that is the color of the skintone… The actual Midget wrestler who played the mini Boogeyman is a worker who goes by Short Sleeve Sampson… he is white… Yes, he is very tan, but he is no where close to being black. The skintone should be muuuch lighter. I like what you did with the accessories… The heart and staff deal are awesome… You included the Jakks pieces to him also which helps, but I like the custom made stuff a lot better… Import… I think you are capable of better when you bring your best… and this figure is far from that.
My vote goes to GateCitySinner… Overall his custom is much more inspiring and you can tell he put a ton of work into it. Import… Your figure just lacks the attention to detail and differences that distinguish mini Boogeyman from his full-sized counterpart.

MAIN EVENT: Goreinator - TAFKA Goldust - Wow. What a freak Goldust was. And he's captured wonderfully in all his freakish beauty in this great fig. The accessories really set this apart from your normal figure - boobie plates with pink nipples are always a nice touch (ALWAYS), the spikes look fantastic, the leggings are really cool, very nice looking ball-gag, and the walker is fantastic. The sculpting is very well done on the cast and the codpiece. The painting is great as well - tats look sharp, skintone looks nice, and the bright colors are alot of fun. Nice touch with the addition of Luna in the last pic. Definitely one of the more interesting figures we'll ever see. Excellent job! FamousJ - Ahmed Johnson - The sculpting on this figure looks flawless. The fleshed out pecs, the armbands, thigh pads, and boot work all look incredible. Great detail with the rivets on the wasitband, and the painting of the IC belt really stands out. The head is also very well done, and has great resemblance to Ahmed. I love the addition of the breathe right strip. Painting, of course, is fantastic. The skintone looks great and everything is real smooth all over. Top notch piece. VOTE: Both guys brought it big time in the main event. The champ showed why he's on top, and the challenger proved he's here to take that spot. I think I have to go with Gore in the end, based on the originality of Goldust. Great show, everyone involved! We have some great talent up and down the card, and everyone here is very enthusiastic. Big ups to GM Becca for putting together another great event. Can't wait for the next show!

1. Tibbs Rip Rogers. I like the blast from the past. As for Angus' smiley, I think it was a valiant effort, but I think the buddy roberts body may have been a better choice.
2.JPD Hakushi. Great hybrid figure, I thought the head choice was interesting and it is definitely a figure I would love to own.
3.Titan Trap Zach Gowen. neat figure and accessories. I would have liked to have seen a pic without the prosthetic leg.
4. Gatecity sinner Rad Radford creative use of parts to make a cool figure
5. Deen Bisping. Great figure, another use of creativity to create a playable figure.
6. Beyondo Mankind. while i do love the muta figure, the attention to detail and overall look of the mankind is incredible. This does not even look like a "custom" but a retail figure I should be able to purchase.
7. Famous J Ahmed Johnson. I think Beyondo and Famous J continue to produce figures that put Jakks on notice for detail and sculpting.
I would love to see some sort of "death match" between the two as these guys continue to set the standards.

I've been asked to stand in as a judge, and since I have some time I figured what the hell
Match 1: Tibbs1984's Rip Rodgers gets my vote. Both could have used a little bit of work. A little modification in Rip's midsection(or a different torso) would have made it a bit better, as the 6 pack abs doesn't work well. The head is decent, and the hair sculpt is well done. Norman was an original idea, but the excecution just wasn't that great.
Match 2: JPD's Hakushi. An easy call here. Hakushi isn't easy to pull off, but it was done well here. I like the head choice, and the centerpiece of any hakushi custom are the tattoo's, and they were done incredibly well. The one downfall of Warrior is that he appears a bit too glossy, the attire seems a little sloppy, and Warrior in general is overdone.
Match 3: Titantrap's Zach Gowen gets my vote here. Sorry, but I've never been a fan of customs that do not have an original painted skin tone. I think those should fall into the "fix-up" category. Mostly, it looks as if more effort was put into the Gowen custom, and the removable prosthetic leg is a great touch.
Match 4: Gatecitysinner's Rad Radford. I am really not familiar with either character, but based on research, it wasn't a hard vote. Midget customs are difficult to make using stock parts. Eventhough midgets are unpreportioned, they just come out looking even more so, and silly when using segmented regular parts. The book of wrestlecrap is a long one, and there was probably a better option to go to than mini boogeyman here.
Match 5: Tough call here, but I'm gonna have to go with Oozing's Shane Douglas. I am admittedly as big of a "noob" as it comes with UFC, and had to do a bit of research just to know who the other guy was. Posed customs are hard, and Oozing pulled it off. Not perfectly, but passable enough.
Match 6: Very tough call over Beyondo and Scott... but I'll give the nod to Beyondo. I think Mankind could be a little bit heavier looking, but the sculpting and painting is virtually flawless. Beyondo has never ceased to impress me.
Match 7: I like the originality in "The Artist" custom, but it takes a lot more than that to defeat an almost flawless custom. FamousJ's Ahmed gets my vote. It is the best custom I have seen in this tournament. The sculpting is ace.

Match 1 - Smiley
Rip - Smooth and Clean and original. I just don't like the head. primarily the beard. Looks too thick in my opinion, but is nicely done.
Smiley - Only seen a handful of these and this is one of the best for Smiley. I like this one much better and is ultra smooth and clean.
Match 2 - Hakushi
Hakushi - Only seen a few of these made before as well. Head works nicely. The Tats are awesome. Smooth and clean.
Warrior - This warrior reminds me of the old Hasbro 8 inch or 10 inch water shooting warrior. Its very glossy and the colors are much like the old hasbro one.
Match 3 - Gowen
Gowen - Smooth and clean, doesn't look like a whole lot was done, but I like how you did the prosthetic, nice touch.
O Haire - I've seen a lot of O Haire's and this one is good, but I am not feeling the head. Also appears to be missing a lot of tats, but I may be wrong.
Match 4 - Radford
Radford - I can say this is the 2nd one I've seen of Radford, the first was years ago. I don't like the glossiness of the coating, but everything else looks amazing.
Little Boogy - This one looks amazing as well. The head reminds me of that crazy cat in Ace Ventura that beats the crap out of him in africa. Great job on this one, this was a hard one for me to pick.
Match 5 - Bisbing
Douglas - I don't particularly care for the head. Something about it I just don't like. The rest of the figure is amazing. I love the pose and all the sculpting looks smooth, paint is ultra clean. I've seen a few like this one. The only thing that stopped me from picking this one was the head. Everything else about it I love and I love the effort put into it. This was a very hard choice.
Bisping - I love it. I love UFC customs and this is one of the best I have seen. Bisbing is one of my current favs as well. Head works great, the shorts are painted phenominally. Original custom and done right.
Match 6 - Mankind
Mankind - Probably without a doubt the best Mankind I've seen. The detail is spot on and amazing. Never have I seen one this detailed. This almost looks Baityesque to me, yes I said Baityesque.
Liger/Muta - I think this is a great set, both are nicely done. But neither stand out to me. I think you should have made one standout custom vs two really good ones. I like em both.
Taker - As I had previously commented on this taker. It is one of the best I've seen from this era. I love everything about it. I just don't feel it is up enough to surpass the mankind.
Match 7 - Ahmed
Goldust - I really like this one, original idea, maybe seen one of these done years ago. I think the detail is awesome and everything about it is great.
Ahmed - Another Baityesque custom. The detail is phenominal and every detail seems to be nailed. The best Ahmed I've seen.
Good job everybody that participated, these are some of the best I've seen.
