I've seen hundreds of Hurricane customs and this one does not impress me at all. Looks like all that was done is repaint. Maybe head switch from an another hurricane figure. Painting is smooth, and looks good What in the hell are you looking at it is a DA Hurricane, not just another Hurricane. So how in the hell can you say it just another repaint? last time I checked there hasn't been a DA Hurricane or a Hurricane made in this attire other than his TTL figure. A lot of work was put into this custom. I am not knocking nydreams Rellik at all I am just knocking your call on the match and your opinion. |

See back when I got out of customizing several years ago, there were Hurricanes like we are having Brocks, and Savages and the other common figures. Everybody made a Hurricane, BCA, TTL, RA. Yes it might be the first DA Hurricane I've seen, but it still did not impress me. It is a good custom, but as I've said, I've seen way too many of these customs to be impressed with it. Don't take things personally. And honestly, it only looks like you took a DA body, painted it up like Hurricane, and slapped a different head on it, with slight modification. I have a higher customizing standard than most, I like to see sculpting and effort vs just slapping something together and making it look pretty. Look at the effort I put into that Randy Couture custom that is on the board, I heavily modified everything on it. That head started out as a lashley head. I cut the entire cranial area back and then resculpted it. Sanded the cheeks flatter and the chin to have a crevass, and even put his dimple lines. I completely cut all the muscle definition off the upper arms and resculpted both the biceps and triceps so he wouldn't be so jacked. Stomach was sculpted to be flatter. Shorts started out as the Long Cena shorts, Cut them down to the length I wanted. Sculpted the entire knee area, full foot and ankle sculpt. MMA gloves sculped on. Sculpted the joints out of the shorts and added my own wrinkles. All painting was done by hand, without a cheap ass label maker. I made it, I'm very proud of it. You can tell me it sucks, who cares. Look at all the effort I put into it and look at how many comments I've had on it since it was posted, about 5, so what? You made your custom, so be proud of it.
