Never seen either compete, but why is Jay Lethal still not signed? Because hes the ROH World and TV Champ And because WWE really isnt trying to sign ROH guys nowadays Ciampa is an ROH guy. |

Yeah, Owens entered with the NXT title to beat Neville, and Sasha entered with the women's title to beat Gionna... I think a lot of matches were false flags to throw off the spoilers. This, keep in mind they're taping episode of NXT after Takeover I believer at Barclays, so they were probably killing time and  ing with fans. After having Bayley go over Charlotte and Becky clean and Sasha being called up there's no way she isn't beating Sasha at Takeover. |

NXT show spoilers in tag: Apparently it's for TV, and they won. So I have no clue. Also, not sure on how many episodes. Not buying it. They'd have new names if it was for TV. Also, I see no viable reason for Bull and Breeze to team up on TV. maybe they got the somoa Joe type deal |

Could they possibly be in the upcoming tag titles tournament? Is it for the tag titles? thought it was just a regular tag team tournament? or do the winners get a shot at the tag titles at a future time? Perhaps that title shot will be at the same NXT Takeover show on October 7? (You could have the finals open up the show and the title match be the final match of the show.) They taped the following tag team matches at the last taping - The Ascension vs Baron Corbin and Rhyno. Solomon Crowe and Neville vs Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey vs Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. (A fourth match - Blake and Murphy vs Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins was shown on the go-home NXT Takeover show on August 19.) Just by the looks of those tag teams - it smells like those matches are first round matches for a tag team tournament for me. Otherwise it makes no sense to have those teams be made up and those matches take place. Too bad the fans at Full Sail didn't know that these matches would be for a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament - probably would have been more pumped up knowing that something was on the line. Guess we will have some more first round matches and the quarterfinals take place at the next taping that happens in a couple of weeks. (Edit - by the looks of it - we will probably have eight first round matches - five of those take place at the next taping - the tag teams of Blake/Murphy - Enzo/Big Cass - Hype Bros - Sawyer/Fulton have to be in the tourney. Then we will have four quarterfinal matches - also to take place at the next taping. Then have the semifinal matches and finals take place at the NXT Takeover show on October 7. The winners of the tournament then get a future shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles?) |
