The time has now arrived. The "certain entertainment company" is Discovery Communications, Inc.(DCI) DCI as you may know are the owners of Discovery Channel, TLC, Destination America, etc. They originally came to us to be part of their program block on Wednesday nights along with Ring of Honor Wrestling & Impact Wrestling. We told them that while we appreciate the offer, Twin Cities Wrestling would then be soon closing it's doors. DCI was still interested in working with us, so I pitched a project I had been working on with some students in Florida. The project involved the students being put under masks, similar to CHIKARA, and all gimmicks being animal based. The idea was then altered so that only most of the guys had masks while others remained unmasked, but still having animal gimmicks for a future angle. They then rented out a soundstage for a somewhat of a "pilot". Before this happened, I called upon my friend, Marc Jones, who many of you know as Red Dragon After viewing the pilot, the executives for DCI suggested we'd be better suited for their new Saturday morning block on Animal Planet with a few changes to the storylines and action to fit such a time slot obviously aimed at kids. We agreed to do that as long as we could also cater to all ages. They agreed and greenlit us for 12 one-hour episodes (with immediate replays) and one two-hour season finale. If you tune in expecting a direct spinoff of TCW, you're out of luck. However, what you can expect is a fun show for all ages with elements of comics, science fiction, anime, drama, and obviously sports entertainment,American pro wrestling & lucha libre. This is going to be unlike anything you've ever seen! This is Wild Kingdom! IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE!

WILD KINGDOM TAPINGS WEEKENDBy Mike JohnsonMike Bockwinkel's new promotion Wild Kingdom is having a taping weekend for the Animal Planet network. Two shows were taped last night and two shows will be taped tonight. This looks to put them at a month's worth of shows. Still no update as to when these shows will air, but one would speculate it would be a part of Animal Planet's new fall lineup when it becomes a part of its new Saturday morning block of programming.

Liking the sound of it. JJ is a great character to build the company around. Love the name the Yellow Jackets for a tag team. Stampede is a great name for a battle royal. Plus it's always good to have Red Dragon. With all these new characters I hope you spend time on their character development. Good luck.

The host, Red Dragon, came out to welcome everyone to the first Wild Kingdom show on Animal Planet . He ran down the card before introducing the first match. 1. Green Dragon vs. Jack Rabbit
These two got over with the crowd on their appearances alone. However, they were both attacked by Red Dragon's brothers, Sam and Lee Kineval! They grabbed a mic and said how they thought Wild Kingdom was stupid, the fans were stupid for buying into it and Dragon was stupid for promoting it! Dragon came back out and said that these good fans didn't come out to get their intelligences insulted or they didn't come out to hear a bunch of talk. They came out to see some action! Dragon told his brothers to give him a week to find a partner, and he'd meet them in this very ring! [Commercial break ]Back from commercial, five wrestlers are already in the ring for the Animal Stampede Battle Royal. Number 6 comes out and is Bison Bishop! He has a very intimidating entrance where he wears a Bison head to the ring 2. Animal Stampede Battle Royal - Tigre Misterio, Dark Tiger, Bison Bishop, "Rhode Island Red " Henry Fowler, Kid Squid, Big SlamuAfter strutting around the ring, Fowler was quickly eliminated by Bison. After that, the rest of the combatants ganged up on Bison to get him out. However, the big bovine powered out and sent everyone to the canvas. Big Slamu stepped up and tried to get Bison out himself, but Bison reversed it, and dumped Slamu out. Tigre also eliminated Kid Squid during this. With just three left, Tigre and Dark Tiger knew they had to put aside their differences and eliminate Bison if either of them stood a chance of winning. They both hit singles running strikes that staggered Bison near the ropes, then a double attack that sent him over the top rope onto the apron. A double dropkick did the trick and sent Bison tumbling to the floor. The alliance was short lived when Dark immediately threw Tigre over the top, but he held on and "skinned the cat" back into the ring and eliminated Dark to win the battle royal. Winner: Tigre Misterio
Backstage, the Sharkey twins, Gil and Jawsephine are talking about their upcoming matches. Jawsephine has a match next week against the Japanese sensation: Tigress. [Commercial break]A pretape of outer space is shown. A countdown of 20 days, 22 hours, 16 minutes and 19, 18, 17, seconds also appears on the screen. 3. Team Tiger Shark-Gil Sharkey & White Tiger vs Yellow Jackets The Yellow Jackets have teamed for years and it clearly made them the better team against the first time team of Tiger Shark, who did not mesh well as a team. Gil never got to tag out which led the Jackets being able to hit their simultaneous top rope dropkicks called The Sting. Winners: The Yellow Jackets.Red Dragon is shown outside on his phone, speaking in Welsh. He ends the conversation with "see you next week." Who will be Dragon's partner?! [Commercial break]4. Jet Jaguar vs Dragon MaskJet is a staple of Sims National Wrestling and Dragon Mask has been seen before in Kings Wrestling Corporation. They shook hands to start the match. Both athletes were pretty evenly matched, and no one could keep the upper hand for long. However after Jaguar powered out of the Dragon Sleeper, he was able to use his Tribute to Misawa/ Jaguar Driver to pick up the victory. Winner: Jet Jaguar. After the match, Jaguar helped Dragon Mask up and shook his hand again. Jag took in the adulation of the crowd to close the first episode of Wild Kingdom Wrestling. Next week : Tigress vs Jawsephine Sharkey Leo vs King Cobra vs. Panther vs. Devil Dragon Red Dragon & A mystery partner vs vs. Kineval Brothers

Awesome, show man as I said before. It's got a cool in a kinda Lucha underground / WSX vibe. Maybe shove in a video package of a character since I think that's what you want to promote most, Their characters. Plus it fits into the Tv format. Love some of the names, Yellow Jackets sound good think they could become the top team. Stampede is a perfect name for the battle royal. You write it well. Still unsure about the Kinevals running down the promotion before it's even started. But I see why you did it. Looking forward to the next show, keep this up.

(In stereo where available.)Previously on Wild Kingdom: the mighty Bison Bishop dominated the Animal Stampede Battle Royal, until the Mexican feline sensation, Tigre Misterio, eliminated him and Dark Tiger from his domain! Also, Team Tiger Shark looked to maul their opponents, The Yellow Jackets but they seemed to underestimate their insect opponents and Ol Gil felt The Sting! Tonight, Gil's twin sister, Jawsephine, is in action against Japanese crowd-pleaser, Tigress! Red Dragon's brothers, Sam and Lee Kineval crashed the first match of the first show and challenged their brother to find a partner to face them tonight! Has Red Dragon found a partner? And if so, who could it be? Find out tonight here in the WILD KINGDOM! The commentary team of Gorilla Monroe and The Weasel welcome the television audience to the show, they run down the card to kick things off. 1. King Cobra vs. Panther vs. Devil Dragon vs. Leo First match featured four fast and high flying wrestlers. Early on, the felines teamed up to take out Devil and Cobra, then hit stereo planchas to them on the outside. With Leo and Panther back inside, Panther tried to get Leo to submit to his unique Cat's Cradle submission, but was broken up by Cobra double stomping Panther. Cobra's pin attempt, however was broken up by Devil Dragon. While the two creatures argued, Leo spun Cobra around and hit the Lion Driver for the 1-2-3. Winner: Leo. An excellent video package of Tigress is shown. Highlights were her meeting Tiger Mask I (Satoru Sayama) as a young girl, training under him as a teen, and her time wrestling in Japan.
[Commercial break ]
Another pretape of outer space is shown. A rocketship zooms by and its smoke leaves a countdown of 13 days, 22 hours, 16 minutes and 19, 18, 17, seconds on the screen.
2. Tigress vs Jawsephine Sharkey Jawsephine was trained by Eddie Sharkey, and took his name as tribute, but seems to have taken it to a whole new level. These girls gave the fans a fun match. The ref had to admonish Jawsephine for biting Tigress on her backside, but the referee also felt the bite too! After the referee was done with Jawsephine, she walked right into a Discus elbow from Tigress which enabled her to pick up the win.
Winner: Tigress
After the match, Tigress helped Jawsephine up and raised her hand.
In the locker room, Red Dragon was shown taping up his wrists with his wrestling mask next to him on the bench. There was a knock on the door which Dragon told to come in. Upon seeing who it was, Dragon smiled and said "Alright, you made it!" He said something in Welsh as we go to our last commercial break.
[Commercial break. ]
Back from commercial, Gorilla Monroe announced that next week The Sharkeys will face Tigress and White Tiger in a mixed tag team match, and the match we didn't get to see from the first show, Green Dragon vs Jack Rabbit!
3. Red Dragon & a mystery partner vs. The Kineval Brothers (Sam and Lee) Dragon's partner was his trainee, FPW's Gareth Ashdown! The Kinevals did everything they could to keep Ashdown in the ring and to keep him from making the tag to Red Dragon. He was able to hit the Project Ashdown on Lee for the pin, but Sam broke it up and sent Gareth into the corner and hit a diving cutter of his own. He then got in Ashdown's face and said "Welcome to Kinevalville, motherf-" but Lee got up and put his hand over his brother's mouth before he said the bad word. Lee then whispered something to his brother.
Ashdown got back up and hit a Stinger Splash onto both brothers. He then ran into the other corner and tagged Red, and Irish Whipped him into his brothers. He sent Sam back into Ashdown who hit his spectacular Infamous move while Dragon spiked Lee with the Red Dragon Driver!
Winners: Red Dragon & Gareth Ashdown!
Ashdown and Dragon congratulated each other, then Dragon let his trainee have the ring to himself and clapped for him at the entrance. While this was going on, Dragon was attacked from behind by FPW's DARK DRAGON! He locked on Red Dragon's own Welsh Deathlock. He kept it sinched in until Gareth came for the save, but he was met by the Dark Dragon Driver on the floor! Dark Dragon stood above both men as the second episode of Wild Kingdom came to an ominous end.
Next week on Wild Kingdom : Green Dragon vs Jack Rabbit Bison Bishop vs. Rhode Island Red Tigress & White Tiger vs The Sharkeys

Good show man, I really like the recap keep that. Nice multiman opener. Liked the video package, should do at least one every show. You put over the women's match well. I thought Dragon's partner might be Assassin but he started speaking Welsh. Nice main event, seemed more TCW than Wrestle Kingdom though. It put over Dark Dragon well, which was the meaning behind it.

(Wild Kingdom was filmed in front of a live arena audience. )
Previously on Wild Kingdom: an exciting four way match kicked off our last show which left Leo showing why he's the King of the Jungle! We were treated to an excellent women's match between Jawsephine Sharkey and Tigress! In the end Tigress stood tall as alpha female in Wild Kingdom! This week, they'll be joined by Jawsephine's twin brother, Gil and White Tiger, respectively in tag pack action! In the main event, Red Dragon revealed fellow Welshman Gareth Ashdown as his mystery partner to extact revenge on Dragon's brothers, Sam and Lee Kineval! The celebration was short lived because Dark Dragon debuted and took out both Ashdown and Dragon. Tonight we'll give an update on their conditions, plus an hour of great wrestling action!
1. Green Dragon vs Jack Rabbit Jack threw candy to the crowd for his entrance, which got the crowd on his side immediately. They shook hands, or um.. paws and claws to start the match. After some outstanding chain wrestling, Jack got Green to chase him around and under the ring. Dragon emerged from a different side of the ring with Rabbit nowhere in sight. Dragon told the ref that Jack went down the rabbit hole and should count him out. So, the ref started counting, and by nine, Jack came from behind and got his opponent in a devastating Airplane Spin for almost a minute! Jack was too dizzy to capitalize, but instead fell on Dragon for the pin fall victory.
Winner: Jack Rabbit
Once Green got back to his feet and regained his composure, he searched under the ring for something.
[Commercial break. ]
Back from commercial, Gorilla Monroe gave an update on Red Dragon and Gareth Ashdown. The extent of Gareth's injuries are unknown, but Red Dragon will return to Wild Kingdom next week when he gets his hands on Dark Dragon in the main event!
2. Tigress & White Tiger vs The Sharkeys (Gil & Jawsephine) White Tiger seems to have a crush on Tigress, but Tigress is all business. Also, her English isn't so good. There was more bottom biting in this match again, as Gil bit White after White fussed at Jawsephine for biting Tigress again! The ref admonished the Sharkeys again, and again he felt the shark bites! This momentary distraction allowed White and Tigress to hit simultaneous Tiger Driver 91's on the Sharkeys. Winners: White Tiger & Tigress
After the match, White Tiger went to give Tigress hug, but Tigress only gave a bow.
[Commercial break. ]
Yet another pretape of outer space is shown. A rocketship zooms by, but morphs into a banana. It leaves a countdown of 6 days, 22 hours, 5 minutes and 23, 22, 21, seconds on the screen. That's next week!
3. Bison Bishop vs. "Rhode Island Red" Henry Fowler This match was billed as "The Battle for the Northeast" since Bishop is announced as hailing from "Buffalo " even though bison don't come from New York. Kind of a quick match if not for Henry's antics. Once again, Fowler strutted around the ring. This time, he also "cock-a-doodle-doo'ed" and pecked at Bison. All this did was infuriate Bison who hit a quick powerbomb on Fowler. Winner: Bison Bishop
Bison simply walked away before the last commercial break.
[Commercial break. ]
A video package of Jet Jaguar and Dragon Mask wrestling in various promotions is shown before the TV main event.
4. Jet Jaguar & Dragon Mask vs The Yellow Jackets Again this week, The Yellow Jackets faced a team that tagged for the first time. Only this time, Jet Jaguar and Dragon Mask worked amazingly as a team. A nice suplex/crossbody combination gave Drag and Jag a near fall, but one of the Jackets broke up the count, and threw Jag out the ring, then hit Dragon with a Flapjack/ Cutter combination they call the Three Bee. They both then went to the top rope for their Sting finisher, but Jet Jaguar came back in and pushed Dragon out the the way! He hit a superkick on one of the Jackets and the T.T.M. on the other to pick up the win for his team! Winners: Jet Jaguar and Dragon Mask
Both teams shook hands, and The Yellow Jackets let the winners have the ring to themselves.
Next week on Wild Kingdom: Red Dragon vs. Dark Dragon Tigre Misterio vs. Dark Tiger Big Cat Manor - Panther & Leo vs. Devil Dragon & King Cobra
plus: the rocketship touches ground!

Another good show. More comedy in the matches which is good to see if you want to go down that route. Battle of the Dragons sound good. I'm very intrigued with the promo with the rocket and the banana. I might have put over the Yellow Jackets in the main event but you know what you got planned. Good luck.

1. Tigre Misterio vs. Dark Tiger Great fast paced match between these two high flying felines! Action in and out of the ring kept the crowd on their feet the whole time. Dark sent Misterio out of the ring with a spinning headscissors, but missed a dive over the top rope when Misterio moved out of the way. Misterio made it back into the ring and hit a topé con hilo over the referee's back and onto Dark! Misterio tossed Dark back into the ring and dove off the top turnbuckle with a big crossbody, but only received a two count. Tigre reversed an Irish whip into the ropes from Dark, and drop toe hold-ed him onto the middle rope. He then hit a Tiger Feint Kick into another headscissors pin. Winner: Tigre MisterioAfter Tigre left, a creepy thing happened as a mysterious being in a dark hooded robe came out and from ringside extended its hand to Dark Tiger. Tiger joined the being, and fell to his knees in front of it. They left together after the hooded being placed its hand on the top of Dark Tiger's head. The familiar scene of space is shown, the banana floats by and the countdown now reads "0 days, 0 hours, 2 minutes, 59, 58, 57 seconds..." [Commercial break ]Back from commercial break, Big Slamu made is entrance and cut a promo about how big and awesome he is. He is interrupted by flashing lights and the countdown we've been seeing for weeks. (Boy, does this feel familiar...) After reaching zero, the big video screen reads "Captain Simon Simian" Through the smoke and lights emerged a chimp in a space suit! He entered the ring and told Big Slamu and the crowd his name is Captain Simon Simian from the space program, now back on Earth after a year long mission. Captain Simian said that he has discovered we are not alone in the universe. 2. Big Slamu vs. Captain Simon SimianBig Slamu grew tired of hearing all this charged at the astronaut, however the Captain ran away and led Slamu around the ring in a chase for a couple laps. Simian made it back into the ring first and zapped Slamu with his freeze ray gun (water pistol) which stopped him in his tracks. Simian was then able to hit a dropkick and pick up the win. Winner: Captain Simon Simian.[Commercial break. ]3. Big Cat Manor -Panther & Leo vs. Devil Dragon & King CobraThis match stems from our second episode. The BCM made for a better team than their opponents who bickered often and had plenty miscues. Panther and Leo were able to capitalize on their mistakes when Devil shoved Cobra and left the ring. This allowed the BCM to hit an awesome sequence of a Lionsault from Leo and Panther locked on his Cat's Cradle submission to make Cobra tap out. Winners : Panther & Leo - The Big Cat Manor Much like the aftermath of the Misterio/ Dark match, two beings in hooded robes made their way to ringside. Devil exited the ring and fell to his knees in front of one of them, and again it placed it's hand on Devil before all three left together. [Commercial break.]4. Red Dragon vs Dark DragonRed Dragon returned with the mask and was more intense than ever for this match, but maybe a bit too overzealous. The referee had to reprimand Red several times for not breaking for five, which allowed Dark Dragon to escape the ring each time. On the third time, Red Dragon gave chase and bawled with Dark Dragon up the entryway. However, this seemed to be a trap, because while the Dragons were fighting at the entryway, the lights dimmed and the two hooded beings appeared once again. They attacked Red Dragon, which caused the disqualification. Winner via disqualification: Red Dragon.Dark Dragon pointed the the ring to have the two hoods take Red there, but he managed to gain the upperhand on them with two Red Dragon Drivers reveal them as Devil Dragon and Dark Tiger. Dark Dragon never re-entered the ring as Red Dragon stood tall in the middle of the ring to end the show

Interesting stuff, I the whole darker side is interesting. Will create a different vibe. I really like Captain Simon, hope he gets to be a main character esp with his Freeze ray. Big Cat Manor also sound like a good team to add to your building tag division. Keep it up.
