Some interesting stuff with the exclusives. I actually quite liked the Tshirt series so with it moving from WalMart to Kmart it means the UK may miss out on it
I suppose that means we may get the Bearer build-a-figure (again) and the fantasy two packs

Jericho will be the 3rd or 4th DM next year and Warrior or Savage will be the other one. Maybe if they sign a big name like Goldberg or something he will fill a slot but I fully expect Jericho next year as a flashback or DM and long haired Rude hopefully. The basic Jericho is too tide us over for a little while much like the Ted Dibiase in white basic figure was meant to do until the Elite was ready. Macho for DM!!!!! Rick Rude too I hope not warrior Although I think the DM line may be too exclusive for my wants (rude, m$m, goldust, etc)

I'm pondering whether or not Jericho will be a DM next year. I say no.
Bill mentioned that Elite Jericho's don't sell. I suspect that's true, BUT there is a good reason. The elites of Jericho featured his heel runs. Elite 4 and Elite 20 were both heel Jericho despite his eventual babyface turn in the second attire. His basics have tended to reflect his babyface runs. I'm guessing little kids (who I assume buy the majority of the toys) when given the choice would have passed on him. And if they did want a Jericho to go with a good guy, mom would probably buy an elite babyface and a basic bad guy to save some dough.
Secondly, I also think the upcoming British Bulldog may set the tone for the second tier guys (your Rudes, Jerichos, etc.). It's one thing to price Sting, Hogan, Taker, Rock, Warrior, Flair, Stone Cold, etc. at the DM price point. But if Davey Boy doesn't sell as well, we may not get the Jericho's, etc. in the DM line. He was a main event player, but not to the extent of the guys listed. I love Ricky Steamboat, but I suspect he probably didn't sell as many DMs in the first run as the Undertaker, etc. And there probably was a reason the DM went away in the first place. In fact, I'd go out on a limb and say Razor, Cena, Hart, and maybe even Shawn Michaels were risky choices in the line.
So in summary... Jericho as a DM? Unlikely for now.
Just my two cents which doesn't really mean anything.

The Balor KMart exclusive may be one of those totally unpredictable surprises/blessings (for those of us with KMarts nearby) where it hits retail a lot earlier than expected.
Not saying it will, but KMart historically has been the most bizarre retailer in terms of specialty stuff popping up. I point to DM Flair, Elite Nash/Diesel, Elite Punk (whichever series featured the first pipebomb/Nexus look), DM Hogan, the unique 3 packs, and a few others.

Flashback Jericho will not sell. What will sell is flashback Jericho with 2 championships. It would have to be a toys r us exclusive or a dm based on the price point with 2 belts.
The fact is, Mattel could sell naked mideon off the shelves If he came with the attitude era title. Has anyone stopped to think that RSC is blocking the re-release of that belt to keep that SCA exclusive more special? Look at what the re-release of the world tag titles and tully Blanchard has done. Nobody will spring for that Matty collectors edition.
We all want and need that Y2J. It's crazy that we get 10 hogans this year and can't get one of the most historic champs of all time. As long as the belt or belts are there, kids and collectors alike will want that figure.

I wonder if the Elite Stephanie McMahon will come with anything? Secondly, I also think the upcoming British Bulldog may set the tone for the second tier guys (your Rudes, Jerichos, etc.). Only Jericho I want is the Monday Night Jericho with WCW TV Title. I'm a huge Jerichoholic but don't need that type of figure to remind me of how badly he was utilized as the FIRST undisputed champion.

So...were there any new reveals after that first day? The only other stuff I saw was the zombie stuff and I remember reading somewhere that there was supposed to be more stuff revealed.

Particularly when getting owned on a sex tape. Jericho has certainly earned enough clout to take one of those many hogan spots. Are you telling me the blue RSC release is necessary? Being a hogan mark should not completely destroy your judgment.

I know the costs are a bit more, but I'd prefer the elite BAFs as I can normally at least use the parts for customs. Basics beyond Divas are normally just useful for heads and maybe arms. Ah well, glad to hear some confirmation on HOF Series 3. With two much needed 80s guys, wonder who Mattel will choose to share the wealth? Maybe a Scott Hall in red or finally that HBK in Summerslam 95 attire? Selfishly I wouldn't want that in the HOF line. I'd want it as a DM or it's on Exclusive. I'll take whatever I can get tho @mdt.

Walmart exclusives suck. Stores near me are awful. I tend to agree with this. However, my stores are awful because they are loaded with basic figures that will take forever to move. The Elites and DM move fine, but the Basics don't because they get way too many. The below is from a store I was at this morning. Coincidentally, this was the Walmart where I found DM Sting last week so I should 'hate' them that much. Problem is, I'm waiting for the next Superstars Entrance series and I just don't see how this location will ever get them. The best we can hope for is that their BAF series has their own designated pegs and that the stores reset and put them on the shelves when they arrive. WOW, I don't collect Basic's however I am looking for Nicki and my Target for all intents and purposes stopped carrying Basics. They do however have about 8 Andre and Big Show BPs.

There has never been a Flashback Jericho in Elite form, and therefore they cannot assume that sales of one are equal to sales of another. I've been rallying for a Flashback Jericho since I joined this forum. But guess what... I don't own the modern Elite Jericho! Have no desire for it. But Flashback Jericho is one of my most wanted figures. You make a good point about his current figures though and I suspect with the popularity of Flashbacks, Jericho would not only sell but would be one of the best sellers. And impossible to find at retail because of it.

Del Rio in red, the best current elite Christian figure, HBK as a referee, the only elite Curtis Axel, CM Punks awesome Summerslam 2011 and WM 29 attires, Daniel Bryans WM 29 Team Hell No attire, HHH's awesome WM 28 entrance gear and even a current Bret Hart. Pretty sure the first time we got the white strap IC belt and the dented MITB cases were in the elite TRU BAF waves. yeh, we got rereleased Cena's and a Brock. A Miz and Orton nobody wanted. but there was more good than bad
