People got spoiled last year. I'm very happy with what is coming down the pipe for this year and early next year.
Mattel isn't going out their way to get new contracts. They are waiting for WWE to sign talent through legends and merchandising deals.

thats the whole issue really... its not WHAT was shown, its more of WHO was shown. that why theres been harsh results to SDCC 2015 Jimmy Hart's new....Malenko's new....Farooqs new...Bradshaw has to be done to go with Farooq If they decided to not do Hollywood Hogan or Surfer Sting..because they wanted to do NEW guys instead...there would be a riot. RSC exclusive is never a NEW character Godfather is the more popular gimmick compared to the Papa Shango figure that nobody bought Prototype Cena, Bulldog w/ braids and an elite Dibiase are some of the top requested flashback wants i've seen on this board for years you realized you named 5 new figures right? |

Some of the disappointment may be in that they didn't show a prototype of a flashback of anyone we didn't know was signed. We may not have known we were getting a new davey boy or dibiase, but they aren't first time in the line so it wasn't out of the realm of possibility. Jimmy hart had already been announced. We were all hoping the fourth dm would be a first time in the line and not only was it not that, it was a straight re-release. I might have preferred bulldog as the dm. Certainly I'd have preferred a first timer, even if he wasn't a huge name like the others have been. Personally, I'm a little offended by the nwo hogan being a dm because it's just a repaint. No new accessories or parts. The plastic boa shouldn't justify the difference in price between the hof hogan and this one which are otherwise practically identical, yet the dm will cost about 8 bucks more. but there hasn't been any big WWE signing (as far as legends go) since Sting last year. Thats public knowledge. Everyone knows that Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy are in TNA. We know that the Dudleyz didn't sign. We know Goldberg doesn't have a contract. Flair, Hogan, Sting and Scott Hall all got legends deals around the same time. Thats it. What other big names could they sign?  ? And if there is someone that i'm not thinking of....we would've known that they got a contract. Flair, Sting, Hogan and Razor getting contracts wasn't a secret. They had shirts on WWEshop I don't know the names of every wrestler who's got a legends deal. Even if I did, this could have been an opportunity to announce a new signing and debut a prototype. It's not Mattels fault that there may not have been any new signings (even though jakks did go out and sign people themselves) but just because it's not their fault doesn't mean people are gonna be disappointed. Makes you wonder who the fourth dm was originally intended to be as bill said that the owner we're getting which we now know is a re-release of taker, was not who they'd planned but something fell through. |

We already had seen Dean and knew Faarooq was on the way, so I'm not counting them. I'm not hoping for a lot, and am very happy with a lot of the stuff we're getting. I was just hoping for a couple of new Classics/Legends/Flashback names, that's all. |

If we can get low-card Attitude Era figures like Godfather, Malenko, Rikishi, etc then there's really no excuse for us not to have one of the top main event level, multiple time World Champion babyfaces of the Attitude Era! Flashback Jericho is a must have figure, and no 90's collection will be complete without it. The fact that MDT mentioned it makes me believe he's tired of hearing about it and we will see it sooner than later. |

does anyone realize that Bill has pretty much doubled the amount of legends figures?? 2012 & 2013 had an average of 12 legends figures. Just 12. then last year we got i think 19 legends??
