Susannah Frame, reporter for KING5 news Seattle, is in the ring with tears in her eyes.Susannah Frame: As a friend of Chase I asked if I could announce this. We all thought this was just Chase being Chase. Disappearing for an undetermined amount of time, contacting no one. But I was contacted the other day and I found out I was wrong. Chase Landon died a few weeks ago. Chase has no family so the police didn't know who to call. They eventually found out I was close to Chase and they called to tell me the horrible news. I am so sorry to have to tell you all this. Chase had his demons but he was still a great guy. One of the few things he loved in life was wrestling so it's fitting that tonight's show will be in his memory. There will now be a ten bell salute. *DING*

*DING*Everything fades to black and the show's intro plays.LIVE from Phillips Arena, Atlanta, Georgia! The screen flashes with several still highlights from End Game. We start with each of the company's champions approaching the ring. Ante Witner, Joe Bishop, Zmey and Ahriman, and of course Drakz. Coming out next is their opponents. Nikki Dean, Jack Sabbath and Jayson Garrett, Josh Dean and Dave Demento, Trace Demon and Philip Schneider. The highlight moves to action shots throughout the night. Stan McMann chopping down a massive oak tree before leveling Yukio Blaze with his Manifest Finisher of all Men lariat! Shapiro and Axel Thornstowe trading heavy leather with Shapiro hitting The Damage Plan! Ante Witner locking in the Bloody Yonkers and Nikki Dean hitting the Expulsion onto a ladder before grabbing both National Title belts, fading into the showdown between Daniel Kirkbride and Michael Kyzer. In this veteran versus upstart battle, Kyzer and Kirkbride alternate hitting each of the trademark moves including Kirkbride trapping the God of F*ck in his painful Holy Cross submission! Cameron Stone: He's got him center of the ring! In a trade off of finishers, Kyzer plants Kirkbride with the Odium and Kirkbride nails the New Covenant, before Kyzer gets the upper hand with the Kyzer Effect! A physical match leaving both the two time Hall of Famer and the 2014 Rookie of the Year spent. Cameron Stone: This could be dangerous. They’re out on the apron, which we tell you week in, week out, is the hardest part of the ring. There’s no give when if you land on that frame! Just moments later, Kyzer drops Kirkbride with a brutal brainbuster variation on the apron, allowing him enough time to hit a second Kyzer Effect and score the pin. Alecia Matthews: Kirkbride’s never say die attitude may have cost him this time. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on his condition once he’s received the medical attention he needs. Our footage continues as Trace Demon and Joe Bishop trade shots and batter each other with plunder throughout the crowd. Alecia Matthews: I don’t think either of them care what kind of collateral damage they do, as long as they do just as much to each other. Trace and Joe, bloody mess and all, break out their best moves on each other and Joe tries to impale the spike deep into Tracy's cranium. Trace battles back and Trace smashes Joe with a light tube before hitting a top rope Demonstration of Hell! We fade into Josh Dean throwing his hoodie into the crowd as Dave Demento exhales smoke from his entrance. Hollywood Unhinged 2.0 make their debut as a team and stare down the champs. DMK: But right now, we f~ck you up like we are Frank Dux. This is our goddam Kumite! This is BBBBBBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! Josh Dean: Lets get it! The frantic pace of the tag title match highlights all six men battling. The powerhouses Dave Demento and Turgain Zmey trading power shots as Garrett and Ahriman do battle, and finally Dean and Sabbath take their time hitting brutal strikes on one another! Alecia Matthews: Well it's official, all hell has broken loose. Cameron Stone: Official? I think this has been evident since about three minutes into the match. Now though, everything is boiling over. Everyone has bad blood and it was only time before everyone jumped in and took their swings. Now we're seeing it unfold. Josh wipes Jayson and Sam out with a massive Suicide Dive, Jack nails Dave with the Crown Kick, Dave with a powerbomb on Sam, Jayson with a big running knee to Josh, Zmey catching Jayson and driving him through the barricade with a running powerslam! Sam with big Tope on Josh, Jack and Jayson nail Zmey with a double chop block on Zmey, but Jayson gets caught with the Orange Crush from Dave for the pin! That leads us to the main event, first Schneider out in Los Hobos gear! Alecia Matthews: This could be the last walk to the ring for Phillip Schneider! Drakz makes his entrance, wearing a Chicago Bulls jersey referencing the "Flu Game." Drakz: I will cure you of this man! The STAREDOWN! Since we all know the match went past thirty minutes, lets just get to the insanity. Schneider pulling out the syringes and Drakz breaking out the flat head screwdriver! Both men are bloody mess! Drakz counters the Beverly Kills 90210 into the Rolling Cold, and Schneider hitting the Rise of the Dead! Cameron Stone: He's got a weedwacker! The crowd goes nuts as Drakz uses the weedwacker, and are just as mortified when the gusset plates are brought into play! The KKK Army make their way down to aide Schneider as Zmey cuts Schneider from a precarious position with bolt cutters. Alecia Matthews: Has Schneider joined KKK? Drakz is in a panic trying to remove the syringe from his cheek. Schneider dumps the contents of the satchel onto the cinder block pallet, dumping a dozen or more syringes exactly like the one that just pierced Drakz onto the concrete blocks. Schneider goes back after Drakz. Inverted full nelson from Schneider. He's lifted Drakz into the double chicken wing. He brings Drakz over to the blocks. But Drakz is able to slide out. Drakz spins Schneider around and jams the same needle that was just piercing his cheek into the top of Schneider's head. Alecia Matthews: …... I have nothing to say. Cameron Stone: A needle stabbed into the scalp.. Alecia Matthews: You can't say that casually. That's horrible. And yet at this point, it doesn't shock me.. Both men are torn from giving their best and worst to one another reach their climax as Schneider has Drakz set up for the Beverly Kills 90210 on a load of plunder, but a resourceful counter leaves him victim to the Needle Damage!

DING DING! Christa Adina: Your winner of this match and STILL the WFWF Heavyweight Champion of the World... DRAKZ!!!!! Due to the pre match stipulation, Phillip Schneider must now retire.. Cameron Stone: That was the last time we're ever going to see Phillip Schneider. A twelve year career comes to an end here tonight at The End Game.. Alecia Matthews: In the back of our minds, we knew this was a possibility, a good chance, but now it's a reality. Phillip Schneider's career has ended before our very eyes. Drakz looks up and offers a handshake, but Schneider kicks it away, stealing the WFWF Championship and hightailing it out! Cameron Stone: I'm lost for words Alecia. I think Schneider may have snapped. The word snapped echoes with a lasting visage of Drakz, the winner, but without his championship as we fade into a sold out, ruckus Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
Explosions and sh*t go off and the crowd rises to their feet! Cameron Stone: First of all we’d like to send our condolences to anyone who has been affected by the death of the former WFWF Tag Team Champion, Chase Landon. It has saddened the entire team here at the WFWF to hear of his passing. Our thoughts are with you buddy. Alecia Matthews: Rest in peace. Cameron Stone: But he of course would want us to continue. Wouldn’t he? Alecia Matthews: Erm…. Cameron Stone: Wouldn’t he? Alecia Matthews: End Game is in the books and so many more things to cover tonight! New champions, a huge tag team main event and the first live televised match of Michael Kyzer in over three years! This is WFWF, and welcome to Ascension! I'm Alecia Matthews along with my broadcast colleague Cameron Stone! Cameron Stone: Thanks Alecia, and tonight, the Tag Team Tournament starts as Axel Thornstowe and Jon Gotch take on newcomers Lucas Crowe and Johnny Hess. Looking at that field it is absolutely stacked. Plus Penny Shannon returns tonight! Alecia Matthews: Right you are Cam. The SOS's resident Riot Grrrl is back in action after that heinous assault at the hands of Phillip Schneider back in January left her with severe damages to her eye and an uncertain future. She's involved in a massive triple with Stan McMann, The Manliest Manly Man and Jayson Garrett, who was involved in the Tag Team Title match at End Game. Alecia Matthews: All of that leading up to our two feature bouts. In the co feature, we get the televised in ring return of two time Hall of Famer, the incomparable Michael Kyzer. He continues his conquest after his hard fought victory over Daniel Kirkbride. Tonight he takes on the new National Champion Nikki Dean, fresh off her stellar performance in the ladder match against Ante Witner. Cameron Stone: All of this leading up to our very important main event as International Champion Joe Bishop teams with former Tag Team Champion Samael Ahriman to take on one half of the new Tag Team Champions Josh Dean and Daniel Kirkbride. Cameron Stone's introduction is cut short because with no fanfare, “The Leaving Song” by AFI hits over the P.A. system.Alecia Matthews: It's segment zero and we're already throwing the format sheet out the window. I'm Alecia Matthews, he's Cameron Stone, and the sound guy has gone into business for himself. Cameron Stone: Our opening contest is set to be the first in our Tag Team Title Tourney, but none of participants use this particular song for ring introductions... The camera switches to the entrance way and with that, Phillip Schneider emerges through the curtain. The crowd boos relentlessly. Schneider's in street gear, cut off black shorts and a black Terminator t-shirt. His left eye is black. He's got a very large bandage across his forehead and butterfly stitches in his cheek. There's small to medium bandaids scattered across his visible body and he walks with a noticeable limp. Schneider has the WFWF World Heavyweight championship belt slung over his shoulder.Cameron Stone: Well I'll be damned.. Alecia Matthews: Schneider may be in physical possession of the Heavyweight title belt, but he's not the champion. He came up short at The End Game against Drakz. He has no business with that title and he has no business out here now. Cameron Stone: At the end of the match, after one of the damnedest wars I've ever seen, Schneider once again turned down the handshake from Drakz and stole the championship belt. What he's doing out here tonight is yet to be seen. Schneider rolls into the ring under the bottom rope, slowly getting to his feet and requesting the microphone. As Schneider's newest ring music comes to a close and he makes his way across the ring, the crowd shower him in boos and heckling, a near unanimous angst against the The Prophet of Ash. The ring announcer hands a microphone in to him finally. Schneider taps it a couple of times before beginning to speak.Phillip Schneider: I am an honest man. I said I would walk out of The End Game with the Heavyweight title, and here I am. The crowd boos. Schneider looks down at the championship over his shoulder briefly.Cameron Stone: He's not the champion, Alecia. He's not the champion! Phillip Schneider: But alas, I didn't win. Schneider lays the title down completely flat on the mat.Phillip Schneider: Drakz, come out here now. I believe I have something you rightfully earned. “MK7” hits the PA and the crowd go crazy for their rightful champion as he shows himself. Drakz steps out onto the stage wearing a hooded tracksuit, the zip undone enough to show the bandages wrapped around both his torso and shoulder. His stitches have been closed for the fourth time in as many shows and he doesn’t look too happy as he stares down at Schneider. Drakz walks the ramp, eyes locked on his most recent opponent before climbing the ring steps and entering the ring under the top rope.Phillip Schneider: Now I'm sure you came out here to retrieve the championship belt and that's all well and good, but that's not what I meant when I have something you rightfully earned. For the second time we went into battle and I threw absolutely everything I had at you. I dragged you to the depths of Hell and you stared Satan in the eyes, Drakz. And you escaped. You beat me. You beat me at my own game. Drakz, what I have for you tonight is far more valuable than that championship belt laying on the mat. Schneider is pointing down at the championship in a demanding fashion. Drakz won't remove his eyes from Schneider.Phillip Schneider: Drakz, what I have tonight for you, in front of the whole world, is my respect. You are the better man and I respect you. Schneider extends his hand to Drakz. Drakz stares at the hand for a moment. He looks Schneider in the eyes. He's trying to get a read on Schneider. Reluctantly, Drakz takes Schneider by the hand. And Schneider pulls him in close.Phillip Schneider: You're going to finish off Michael Kyzer. You have no other option. Schneider shoves the microphone into Drakz' chest, releasing the handshake. Schneider grabs the belt from the mat and puts it around Drakz' waist. To Drakz' uneasiness, Schneider stands behind him, buckling the championship belt around Drakz' waist before rolling out of the ring. There's a mild round of applause as Schneider makes his way up the ramp. The camera follows him loosely up the ramp. At the top of the ramp, he takes a bow, heading through the curtain one final time. A quick cut back to the ring to Drakz. The fans are stunned.
Drakz, still with his back to the ramp, now turns to face the empty stage and raises the mic to his mouth.Drakz: Phil…………Thank you. The crowd pops and it seems maybe at last, as his final act in the WFWF Phillip Schneider has done the right thing.Cameron Stone: Well Alecia, I’m honestly shocked at what we’ve just seen. Maybe that speaks volumes about the Phillip Schneider we’ve come to expect when doing something as gracious as that has shocked me more than if he’d cut off one of Drakz’s limbs. Alecia Matthews: Classy stuff from the former two time WFWF World Heavyweight Champion for sure. I can only hope that people remember this. This isn’t a passing of the torch, but it is a display of deep respect that we thought was never going to happen. Cameron Stone: Two of the best in this business went toe to toe at End Game and, whilst their bodies tell a story in themselves, the final chapter has been tied up here. Drakz is still your WFWF World Heavyweight Champion and is one step closer to cementing himself as the greatest of all time. Suddenly pyro pops back and forth along the stage. Smokes starts to filter from the stage as everyone in the arena is puzzled.Cameron Stone: Wait a minute, what’s this? “Looking back at me, I see that I never really got it right…….”Cold by Crossfade hits the speakers as Yukio Blaze walks out on stage, his eyes dead set on the ring. He stares right at Drakz.Alecia Matthews: What does Yukio want? These two men haven’t crossed paths in years. Yukio points to Drakz and then puts up three fingers as the arena erupts.Cameron Stone: It seems to me he’s making his third and final wish known to both the WFWF fans and the champ. Alecia Matthews: He’s got a nerve. Yukio is coming off of the back of two losses and now he’s out here pulling this? Drakz stands in the ring and stretches his arms wide, laughing at Yukio as “Cold” continues to play.Alecia Matthews: We’ll be back with our first match of the evening after these ads folks.

“Paranoid” by Black Sabbath welcomes us back from the ad break as Johnny Hess walks out of the curtain, looking at the audience in disgust. Hess takes off his black shirt with "God Bless The USA" and rips it up, and then throws the shreds into the crowd.
Christa Adina: The following contest is the opening quarter final match of the Tag Team Tournament and is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, weighing 235lbs, making his WFWF debut, Joooohnny Hess!
Hess jumps onto the apron, looking around at the audience. Hess jumps over the ropes, making a thud on the mat. Hess walks over to his designated corner, scratching his shaven head.
The opening riff of “Stranglehold” blares through the arena as Lucas Crowe makes his way from behind the curtain. Crowe is very “no muss, no fuss” so he just saunters his way down the ramp at his own pace.
Christa Adina: And his partner, from Detroit Michigan, weighing 310lbs and also making his WFWF debut, he is “The Motor City Mercenary” Lucas Croooowe!
Crowe gets to the ring and climbs up and over the top rope. He paces inside the ring a bit before facing the camera side and raises his fist. He then turns and eyes up his partner in Hess.
“Freezing Moon” hails the arrival of their first opponent and Jon Gotch walks out onto the stage, holding up his arms.
Christa Adina: And their opponent, from Warsaw, Poland, weighing 220lbs, Joooooon Gotch!
Gotch slaps his chest and jogs down the ramp. Gotch slides into the ring, automatically jumps to his feet. Gotch jumps onto the mid-rope,yelling at the crowd. "Come on, Baby!" Gotch drops off the rope, and waits for his partner.
The chilling sound of "Seagulls Over Rhinoceros Bay Part 2" can be heard playing throughout the arena. The lights in the arena all go out. Red smoke can be seen at the top of the stage. Emerging from the darkness is Axel Thornstowe. Looking around with an angry expression plastered on his face, he begins to slowly walk to the ring.
Christa Adina: And finally his partner, from Cincinnati, Ohio, weighing 215lbs, Axel Thornstoooowe!
Thornstowe enters the ring and standing next to Gotch eyes up the two new comers, before turning to Gotch and giving him the same look of disdain.
Alecia Matthews: Well it seems Thornstowe isn’t impressed with his partner or his opponents here tonight but with both Hess and Crowe being unknown quantities he better not underestimate them.
Cameron Stone: No doubt. Especially Crowe. Look at the size of him!
Hess and Thornstowe start things off as the ref calls for the bell.
*Ding Ding*
Thornstowe runs in to start things off and begins throwing over hand rights at Hess. Hess refuses to back down though and responds with bombs of his own. The two men trade back and forth until finally Thornstowe rakes Hess’s eyes and laughs while the audience boo him. Maintaining his momentum he drives a number of knees into his opponent’s gut before whipping him into the ropes and then hitting a tilt a whirl back breaker. He covers Hess:
… 1 …
… 2 …
Kick out!
Cameron Stone: It’s a nice move but it’s not going to get the job done this early in the match.
Thornstowe picks Hess up and hits a low slung release german suplex before standing up and tagging in Gotch.
Cameron Stone: This is only Gotch’s second match in the WFWF and he needs to make an impact after his loss at End Game. This Tag Team Tourney is really giving the opportunity to these new guys to mix it up with some of the best in the business on a ground they’re not used to.
Alecia Matthews: That’s right Cam, you could pick up a win over a Drakz or a Trace Demon just by playing it clever. Neither of those guys are seasoned tag team wrestlers and yet both of them are going to be competing next week in this very tournament.
Gotch grounds Hess and begins to work him over with numerous stretches, using every chance he gets to grind an elbow, or a knee into Hess’s exposed ribs and back. With Hess in a front face lock he then rolls him over into a pin, catching him unawares.
… 1 …
… 2 …
Kick out!
Cameron Stone: Another close fall there. Hess needs to make the tag to the fresh man in Lucas Crowe.
Gotch waits for Hess to get up before driving him back to the ropes with a number of uppercuts. He then whips him across the ring and follows him with a stiff clothesline. He drags him up to his feet by the waist band and drops him again with a picture perfect saito suplex. He tags Thornstowe back in.
Alecia Matthews: For a thrown together tag team Thornstowe and Gotch are doing a good job of isolating their man and keeping the fresh man in. This is good stuff.
Thornstowe now with Hess centre ring wraps him in a figure four leg lock. The ref asks Hess if he wants to quite but he just shouts:
“F*ck You!”
Cameron Stone: Unnecessary.
Hess rocks the move from side to side and eventually is able to turn both men over, reversing the pressure and forcing Thornstowe to break the hold. Hess is flat out on the mat though as Thornstowe makes the tag back to Gotch who is straight over to the grounded Hess and drags him back to his corner by the leg before locking in a single leg crab. He torques back hard on it and the ref again checks on Hess. Gotch reaches up and tags Thornstowe straight back in. Thornstowe vaults over the top rope and throws a leg drop over the back of Hess’s head before Gotch breaks the hold allowing him to cover again.
… 1 …
… 2 …
Kick Out!
Cameron Stone: Great tag team work there from these two and I think Hess is a foregone conclusion here. He’s done.
Crowe is watching all of this unfold with a sense of calm even though the match, and a position in the semi finals of the tournament are slipping away from him. Thornstowe drives an elbow drop into the kidney of the grounded Hess who is attempting to crawl across the ring to Crowe. He then lifts him to his feet and throws some forearms before whipping him into the ropes. Thornstowe throws a lariat but Hess ducks and rebounds. He comes back at Thornstowe and ducks yet another clothesline. This time Hess comes back with a huge diving lariat of his own that takes both men off their feet. The ref begins a standing 10 count:
… 1 …
… 2 …
… 3 …
… 4 …
Hess stirs and begins to crawl across the ring as Thornstowe sits up.
… 5 …
… 6 …
… 7 …
Thornstowe is up to his feet and he dives at Hess but Hess is already there, tagging in the big man Lucas. Crowe steps over the tope rope and Thornstowe tries to grab him but Crowe throws a huge right hook that drops Thornstowe like a sack of potatoes. Gotch enters the ring and runs right into a big boot. Thornstowe is up again and is rocked with a straight jab from Crowe who then whips Thornstowe into the corner. He then sends Gotch into the corner as well before charging in after them with an avalanche that forces the air out of both men’s lungs. He tosses the tumbling Gotch out under the top rope and then scoops Thornstowe up, chucking him overhead with a belly to belly suplex. Crowe now walks with an air of confidence over to Thornstowe and lifts him up. He whips him into the ropes and as Thornstowe comes back at him drops him with a rolling elbow. Crowe covers:
… 1 …
… 2 …
Kick out!
Cameron Stone: Lucas Crowe is on fire here! Axel to his credit just took a lot of punishment in not much time and still was able to kick out though.
Crowe lifts Thornstowe to his feet and whips him into the corner. His own corner. Gotch tags himself in.
Alecia Matthews: That’s a sign that Crowe is still green to the wrestling business though. He had Thornstowe under control and he just allowed the tag to be made to Gotch.
Crowe shrugs as Gotch moves in and looks for a double leg takedown on the much bigger man. Using his leg to trip Crowe both men hit the mat and Gotch begins throwing rights and lefts, but Crowe uses his immense power to roll them over and lay in huge swinging shots of his own, then when he senses his opponent’s inability to defend himself he flips him over, wraps his arms and locks in the Motor City Blackout (Rear Naked Choke).
Cameron Stone: This is it! I’ve heard Crowe uses this rear naked choke to exceptional effect.
The ref checks on Gotch, raising his hand once. It falls. Twice. It falls. A third time! It falls!
*Ding Ding*
Christa Adina: Here are your winners by way of knock out, Lucas Crowe & Johnny Hess!
Cameron Stone: Well what a debut for Crowe! Hess hasn’t shown me a lot here tonight but thanks to his partner he’s been given another chance in the semi finals of the tournament to wow us.
Alecia Matthews: Things aren’t over for Thornstowe and Gotch either. They will be entered into the eliminator along with the losing teams from both of next week’s quarter final matches to fight for the last spot in the semi finals. Hess & Crowe though are already safe. They’ve made it one step closer to winning this tournament.
We pan backstage to see Susannah Frame, Chase's closest companion. She knocks at Jayson Garrett's door, and Jayson answers. He sees who it is and sighs.
Jayson Garrett: What do you want?
Susannah Frame: I just wanted to see how you were. I knew Chase and you were close….
Jayson Garrett: I tried to be. He was always unresponsive and you know it.
Susannah Frame: And you really were, don't think you weren't.
Jayson Garrett: Quite honestly Frame, I don't care right now. I have a new partner and a match that's coming up and you choose now to distract me?
Susannah Frame: I was in town and that's why, not to distract you.
Jayson Garrett: Leave me alone.
Jayson slams his locker room door shut leaving Frame standing outside as we fade to commercial.

Alecia Matthews: And as we move on here at Ascension, this upcoming match is very intriguing to say the least. Cameron Stone: My girl Penny is back! Alecia Matthews: That's right Cam, but she's got a tough task ahead of her in a very motivated Jayson Garrett and the new self proclaimed Triple Threat Messiah in the Manliest Manly Man Stan McMann. Let's send it up to Christa Adina to get us started. Stan McMann enters the arena as Orgazmo's "You're a Man." begins to play. A beautiful tree has seemed to grow in the middle of the entrance man. With his manly music playing, Stan McMann the manliest manly man takes his ax that is attached to his manly tool belt and begins to deal monstrously manly blows to the base of the wooden behemoth using the tip of his iron ax of tree-death. Christa Adina: The following contest is a triple threat match set for one fall! Introducing first, from MANkato, MANNesota, weighing in at 260 pounds. He is the new Triple Threat Messiah. "The Manliest Manly Man" Stan McMann. OH GOD! Alecia Matthews: Not again. The tree quickly collapses, as it cannot withstand the manly blows from the manliest manly man, perfectly falling to form a tree corpse ramp to the ring. Stan McMann climbs the tree ramp and walks to the ring the only way he knows how to: like a man. Every single woman in the arena has had an orgasm at this point, after witnessing such a manly act of manhood. McMann enters the ring and pulls out some beef jerky, a manly snack to eat before his match begins.
"This Will Be the Day" by Casey Lee Williams hits over the PA and the lights turn darker. The first guitar rift kicks in and Garrett steps out and flings the hood of his zip-up hoodie off. Garrett psyches himself up while walking down the ramp and stops right before the chorus hits. Christa Adina: Introducing participant number two, from Sacramento, California, weighing in at 230 pounds. He is the "Golden Boy" Jayson Garrett! When it does hit, Garrett runs and slides into the ring and leaps to the far corner's second turnbuckle, throwing his jacket off in front of the announcer's table. He repeats to the other turnbuckle closest to the announcer's table and screams "I am golden!" before stepping back down off the turnbuckle and into his corner.
Arena lights fall dim as sparkles of purple, pink, and baby blue settle around the entrance way. Smoke fills the isle as the shrill of L7's "Fast and Frightening" damn near rips the speakers in two! Penny pushes herself through the entrance curtain, hooded up in her signature hoodie. She takes a moment to stand by the edge of the stage, pulling down her hood to reveal her pigtails as she kicks her feet and makes a mad rush down the isle. Christa Adina: And participant number three, representing the Saviors of Salvation, from Los Santos, San Andreas, California, weighing in at 127 pounds. "The Velocity Grrrl" Penny Shannon! Slipping into the ring beneath the ropes, Penny charges up the up the turnbuckle and raises her left arm into the air, holding up a single fist as she turns to the camera, points to her own face and curses her ass off. The referee calls for the bell and match is on! All three wrestlers stand in the center of the ring, maintaining their guards as they circle around one another looking for the opening. Jayson Garrett springs first with a tie-up towards Penny Shannon. The Velocity Grrrl ducks the incoming attack and locks Garrett now into a reverse waist lock, trying to ground him now. Jayson Garrett throws back the elbow, knocking Penny against the side of her head, but she’s still got the waist lock clenched. Stan McMann bounces off the ropes now and charges forward with a running slap, but stops himself just inches away from Garrett. Stan McMann gives himself a moment and looks up, thinking for a moment, before striking Jayson Garrett with a mean punch. Penny shoves Jayson Garrett away and charges towards Stan McMann, who marches her way and gives her a hard slap across the face. There is a sickening ‘wooo’ coming from audience. Penny holds her jaw and looks at Stan McMann. She licks her lip and grins at him- pointing to her cheek now, just calling him to the same thing again. Stan McMann presses his hands against his hips and laughs at Penny. The Velocity Grrrl is still goading him into striking her. “Come on, you little b*tch!”, Penny shouts. “Hit me with your best shot.” Stan McMann chuckles and nods his head. “That’s cute.” Alecia Matthews: We got some early trash talking going on here. Cameron Stone: Penny has never backed down from a fight, no matter how big the opposition is. Penny punches him on the face, striking him hard enough that it turned his head a little. “What’re you going to do about it?”, Penny shoots out, holding out her arms now. McMann massages his jaw and continues to smile and Penny, nodding his head now as he drives up his fist and charges forward, when from out of nowhere, Jayson Garrett returns with a hard dropkick across Stan McMann’s face, sending him flying across the ring!
Penny wastes no time now, rushing to Garrett before he can stand back up as she locks him with a reverse headlock. Jayson Garrett manages to roll over, gaining himself back the vertical leverage now as he squirms out of the hold and pushes Penny towards the ropes.
The Velocity Grrrl hits the ropes chest-first, bouncing back now as Jayson Garrett scoops up from behind and plants her with a German suplex. Jayson Garrett rolls through and finishes off the Sacramento Trio, bridging the suplex for the pin.… 1 …
… 2 … Penny gets her shoulders up and rolls to the outside as the Manliest Man among Every Man That Ever Existed comes back into the match. He grabs the Golden Boy’s feet and rolls him back to a standing position now as he applies a bear hug. Stan McMann maintains perfect form as he applies pressure on the hold, nudging Garrett to the side as he tries to break away. Cameron Stone: Stan's doing a great job utilizing his strength advantage here to wear down Jayson Garrett. McMann wrenches the hold again, really squeezing Jayson Garrett. His form is perfect as the light’s above the ring shower him with a golden gaze that makes him look even more manly. Jayson Garrett arcs his back, holding out his arms now as he tries to draw the strength to release himself from that manly hold. Luckily for him, he has a strong number of support from the crowd, who start chanting “U.S.A! U.S.A!”. Alecia Matthews: Only in the deep south can you get a USA chant going with three American wrestlers. Jayson Garrett is visibly confused by the display of support, but he seems to accept it any way now as starts to power out of the hold, slipping away until he finds the clear to throw some punches into Stan McMann’s forehead. Stan McMann nudges Jayson Garrett to the side and lifts him in the air, only to drop him a moment later with a disturbingly well-executed Manhattan Drop.
The move appears to have done something as a look of immense and completely unexpected pain rushes up Jayson Garrett’s body, coiling his insides so bad that he can’t even summon the strength to fall down if he wanted to. Stan McMann pushes Jayson Garrett into the canvass and presses his foot over his opponent’s chest for a really disrespectful cover.… 1 …
… 2 … Jayson Garrett kicks out.
Stan McMann grabs him by the hair and forces him back to the standing position, just as Penny Shannon rushes up Jayson Garret’s back and takes off, knocking Stan McMann with a flying Pennycanrana, sending him flying head over feet. Stan McMann quickly slips out of the ring and strikes the canvass! Alecia Matthews: I don't think Stan McMann liked getting taken off his feet by a female. Cameron Stone: He needs to put his pride aside and realize Penny is one of this company's most skilled wrestlers. Penny Shannon rushes forward now and leaps over the top rope for dive. Stan McMann launches himself into the air and manages to knock Penny in the jaw with a stiff uppercut! Penny slumps against the ropes and from out of nowhere, Jayson Garrett has taken to the air, launching himself behind Penny with a suicide dive, just wiping out Stan McMann on impact.
The crowd rises to their feet and cheers, chanting, “That was awesome! That was awesome!”. Cameron Stone: And Jayson Garrett takes flight! He's trying to get on track after the heartbreaking loss at End Game! Jayson Garrett rises back to his feet and takes a look around the arena, finding more strength from the support as he grabs Stan McMann and sends him into the security ring post chest-first. Jayson Garrett grabs a handful of hair and grease and tries to knock McMann into the steel, but McMann grabs the post and tries to block, fighting it off now as he pushes forward with a rake across the eyes. Alecia Matthews: Wait, here comes Penny! The Velocity Grrrl charges down the apron and takes into the air with a front, missile dropkick that manages to hit both her opponents with such force that the barricade gives way and all three wrestlers have spilled into the front row! “Holy Sh*t! Holy Sh*t!”. Cameron Stone: It's turning into a carwreck out here! Somewhat disappointed that the match had to go that far, the referee stops the ten count and slides out of the ring to check on the condition of the competitors. Penny is the first to come to, jumping McMann now as she begins to pummel him with forearm shots across the back. Jayson Garrett is back on his feet, taking Penny’s lead now as he begins the assault on Stan McMann. Alecia Matthews: Who'd ever think we'd see Penny and Garrett working together? Cameron Stone: It's a smart move Alecia, they're trying to get the big man out of the equation. McMann fires back with a kick across Jayson Garrett’s gut, turning him away as he reaches forward now and rakes his hand across Penny’s eyes- but Shannon blocks with, motions forward with a chop across McMann’s chest and grabs him by the nipple, twisting it with an unholy nurple! Jayson Garrett is back now, springing forward as he strikes McMann in the face with a stiff superkick, completely knocking him out. “That was awesome! That was awesome!” Penny and Jayson look at each other and nod, quietly making the decision to rush back into the ring to finish off the match. The two square off in the center with a tie-up, both Penny and Jayson jocking for position. Penny is the first to break away, knocking Garrett in the jaw with a stiff forearm. Garrett pushes forward with another forearm of his own, Penny turns on her back now and Garrett quickly traps Penny into a school boy.… 1 …
… 2 … Penny kicks out and rolls over back to her feet and Jayson Garrett springs forward with another dropkick, but Penny blocks it and goes for the lariat but Garrett ducks underneath it and grabs Penny by the head and launches himself into the air with a standing ddt, but Penny manages to push him off. Garrett makes it back to his feet and rushes forward but Penny clips him with a hard dropkick across the gut that sends him sailing into the corner. Penny drags him to the center of the ring and hooks the leg.… 1 …
… 2 …Jayson Garrett kicks out!
Penny mounts Jayson Garrett now, grabbing a handful of hair and she starts to pummel him with stiff shots across the face. Jayson Garrett snaps back with an open palm strike, blocking Penny off now as he strikes her again with another shot.
Penny Shannon is feeling the effects of this assault and Jayson looks for the whip into the ropes. Penny ducks the clothesline attempt and Penny floats over, nailing the Little Mascara (Knee DDT). Following it up, Penny splatters Jayson into the mat with the Manic Pixie Dream (Handspring Phoenix Splash)! She hooks the leg!… 1 …
… 2 …Jayson kicks out and Penny makes him pay with a running cannonball senton!
Penny is feeling it, loading up and calling for the Liberty Cap. As she charges in, Stan McMann cuts her off with the Double N Spinebuster! Stan dusts his hands off and has Jayson in his sights. Jayson is slow to get up and Stan signals for his signature Lariat. Cameron Stone: Say good night Jayson. Stan McMann charges in like a manly bull, looking for the Manliest Finisher of All Men (Lariat) but Jayson plays the matador and ducks out of the way, sending Stan face first into the corner. He has no time to recoup before Jayson drills him with the Golden Boot (Corner Big Boot)! Jayson gets hung up in the ropes and Penny Shannon dumps him over the top rope! Stan is on dream street, and Penny uses the opening to plant him head first with the Liberty Cap (Curb Stomp)! Alecia Matthews: Liberty Cap! She's going to do it! Penny hooks both legs for the cover1…

*DING DING!*Christa Adina: Here is your winner, "The Velocity Grrrl" Penny Shannon! Cameron Stone: Her first match back from injury and Penny Shannon picks up a huge win tonight! Alecia Matthews: Well folks we'd like to bring your attention now to a fact that was announced on the WFWF.com site a few days ago. Our next PPV will be taking the WFWF all the way back to the land of the rising sun. Let's take a look at where we'll be on the road to Tokyo. Roll the video: WFWF Show Schedule2015 - 2nd 1/4"New Dawn"TV Show 2 - June 2015 (American Airlines Arena, Miami, Florida)"Choke Hold"TV Show 3 - June 2015 (US Bank Arena, Cincinnati, Ohio)"Divine Wind"TV Show 4 - July 2015 (Osaka-jō Hall, Osaka, Japan)"Dead Bodies Are Buried Under the Sakura!"Pay Per View - August 2015 (Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan)Cameron Stone: I for one am super excited to be heading back to Japan Alecia. The fans over there love what the WFWF brings to the table, and having fought in front of them on a number of occasions it still gives me goosebumps when we hit the Tokyo Dome. Alecia Matthews: No doubt Cam. We've got a long way to go before we get there but Japan IS calling! Cameron Stone: Well… it looks like Lila Sleater has made it to the ring and she has a microphone. We were promised a big announcement regarding this upcoming tag team tournament and it looks like were going to get it. The camera pans from the commentary booth to inside the ring, where Lila Sleater has a mic in one hand and one of the WFWF Tag Team Titles in her possession. Lila Sleater: You might be asking what I'm doing out here with one of the tag team title belts, considering I'm not an active wrestler. Well, it wasn't an easy decision to make and certainly one that probably won't be too popular depending on who you ask. But in the hours following End Game, new WFWF Tag Team Champion Dave Demento was involved in a DUI related automobile accident in which an unidentified female passenger suffered severe injuries as a result. The crowd is dead silent, not sure how to respond to this news. Lila Sleater: This is a business, and business people must take into account the brand's image, and Dave Demento's actions casts a dark cloud over the head of each and every WFWF superstar. That is unacceptable from a representative of the WFWF brand and frankly, you fans deserve better. The crowd is still largely unresponsive, only cheering her declaration for a top notch product. Lila Sleater: As a result of the pending legal sanctions Dave Demento faces in the state of Arizona, it gives me no pleasure in announcing that as of yesterday the Board of Directors has granted me the authority to release Dave Demento from his WFWF contract. The crowd erupts with a venomous vitriol in their boos as Lila lowers her head. Lila Sleater: As I said, no pleasure in announcing that. And I know many of you would not support this decision because of your admiration for Dave, but you need to understand that Dave Demento did this to himself and needs rehabilitation rather than a title. Which brings me to the other reason I'm out here right now. What to do with the Tag Team Titles? Well, the Board and I got together when addressing Dave's release and decided to up the stakes of the Tag Team Tournament, which will now be known as the Lila Sleater Doubles Invitational. The finals of this tournament will take place at our pay per view extravaganza, Dead Bodies are Buried Under the Sakura, with the winners being crowned the new WFWF Tag Team Champions! The blockbuster announcement is met with a mixed reaction. It's exciting nature is met with cheers, while a very vocal portion of the audience voices their distain for what this means to the current Tag Team Champions SOS. Lila Sleater: And that brings me to my last order of business, seeing that I only have one of the WFWF Tag Team Titles. There is one man in the back that has the other one in his possession and I need him to come out and give me the belt so that we can begin moving forward. So I'd like for "The Franchise" Josh Dean to come out to this ring. The crowd erupts with just a mere mention of the Atlanta native's name. Heavy guitar riffs scream out of the loud speakers before the drums kick in and "In The City" by Kevin Rudolf plays. The crowd doesn't have to wait long as they come UNGLUED upon Josh's appearance. Draped over his shoulder is the WFWF Tag Team Title and he is certainly playing up this hero's welcome by coming out in a vintage Dominique Wilkins jersey, honoring the former Hawks superstar.
He is home.
Josh looks over at the cameraman. Josh Dean: Well, I guess I have some business to attend to. Alecia Matthews: Given the controversy surrounding this situation, Josh looks to be in a pretty good mood I'd say. Josh takes his time sauntering to the ring. This is his house, and Lila can just wait as the Architect slaps hands with the hometown faithful. He makes his way to the bottom of the ramp, and his smile dissipates to a business scowl as he climbs the stairs. He climbs in and beckons Lila out of the way as he ascends the turnbuckle nearest to the announce table. He spreads his arms wide and the crowd roars as Josh holds the Tag Team Title high above his head. Josh lowers the title and drapes it back over his shoulder as he climbs down, where he is gifted a mic. The music fades as the crowd continues to chant. "ATL" "ATL" "ATL" Josh smiles and raises the mic and the crowd begins to quiet down. Josh Dean: Yes? Lila Sleater: Josh, you know why I've asked you out here.... Josh Dean: I do, and I find it funny because all of this could've been handled in private. But instead, you want to make a big show of it and get a little bit of payback because your plan didn't work. I mean, why else would you call me out here to officially strip me of my hard earned championship in front of my home town? The crowd erupts. It's a cheap pop, but Josh has the crowd eating out of his hands. Lila, stoned face as usual, is not amused. Josh Dean: You know I think the most transparent part of this whole shifty operation is that you knew there were other options. In case you forgot there are four members of SOS, not just two! The crowd breaks out in a SOS chant as Lila waits for them to calm back down. Lila Sleater: There was nothing in the contract about Penny or Nikki being able to defend the titles with you. Until recently, they were injured. Josh Dean: Well isn't that just convenient. Just like the stipulation you placed on us at End Game, or how you suspended Dave after he strong armed you for his rematch. Come on, you got what you wanted. Lila Sleater: Oh how benevolent of you Josh. Coming out here and trying to stick up for your buddy. I just don't think it's fair that you be placed in an unfair situation with the rest of your group being otherwise occupied. Now, you know that Nikki has been entered into the Lila Sleater Doubles Invitational, and hopefully she can fulfill that obligation as well as her commitment of being National Champion. But unless you agree to vacate your Tag Team Title, it would be hard to draw interest in this tournament. That's not good for the bottom line, and you certainly wouldn't want that. It'd create an unnecessary target on your back, don't you think? Josh pulls the title belt off his shoulder and takes a long look at it as the crowd boos his situation. Josh folds the straps under and kisses the faceplate, before handing the title over. But just as Lila goes to reach for it, Josh pulls the title back into his possession. Josh Dean: Now you didn't think it was going to be that easy, did ya? The crowd erupts as Josh cracks a smile for the first time since arriving. Lila is talking, but with the mic lowered no one can hear her. Josh turns on his heel and starts to walk away. Josh Dean: In case you can't read lips, Lila just told me to go f*ck myself. Now I don't think that's an appropriate way to speak to one of your champions, so I think I'll have to decline and just take my chances.... Lila Sleater: What do you want then? Josh stops right at the edge of the ropes. He turns around and leans against the ropes. Josh Dean: I'm glad to see you're finally willing to negotiate. Now, I'll vacate my Tag Team Title, but you're going to do something for me. Lila Sleater: Josh, I don't want you to think you're being punished because of Dave's actions, because I think you're completely innocent in the matter. But I'm willing to listen. What do you want? Josh Dean: What do I want? Well that's a pretty dumb question. You know what I want. Lila Sleater: And you know I can't do that. Josh Dean: Now see, I had a feeling you were going to say that, so I'm talking about the next best thing. Here I am, potentially ending a title reign without losing it. So I want the opportunity to gain a title to replace the one I'm vacating. The crowd erupts as this verbal volley lands in Lila's court. She's contemplating the offer and preparing a counter. Lila Sleater: Ok Josh, I think I have an option that we both can live with. And before I tell you the option, I want you to think about yourself for a moment and what you want to accomplish with your career. I know a guy like you isn't satisfied with being Tag Team Champion, because the only thing acceptable to you is being the absolute best. Well, I believe this plan can put you on the path to reach all your goals. Josh's eyebrows raise. Lila Sleater: And as a former International Champion, I know you were never given a chance to regain that championship before your first contract expired. So what I'm suggesting is that at Dead Bodies are Buried Under the Sakura, you get a shot at the International Championship against Joe Bishop! Atlanta blows the roof off the building as Josh smirks. He is mulling over the offer. Josh Dean: I want it in writing. Lila Sleater: Done. Josh Dean: Ok, then I guess we have an agreement. Josh drops the mic and takes the Tag Title belt off his shoulder. He gives the faceplate another kiss before sitting it neatly on the top turnbuckle as he exits the ring. Alecia Matthews: What a blockbuster set of announcements. Dave Demento has been fired. Josh Dean is vacating the Tag Team Titles after being named number one contender for the International Title, and the Lila Sleater Doubles Invitational will crown new Tag Team Champions! What a hot start to Ascension! Cameron Stone: And now our main event has a whole new dynamic with International Champion Joe Bishop being on the opposite team of his number one contender! We'll be back after these ads ladies and gentlemen.

Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first…
The lights dim…the crowd hushes…
“Absent” hits the speakers and the lights explode on…
Michael Kyzer and his C~NTS stand on the stage…
With a Thai hussy on each side, The God of F~ck walks to the ring…
Christa Adina: And his opponent, from Seattle Washington, weighing in at 210lbs, Michael Kyzeeeer!
Cameron Stone: Michael Kyzer knows how to make an entrance.
Alecia Matthews: Just wish he knew how to show a little respect at the same time.
He takes his time because he is a f~cking legend…
The new blood can wait to suck his d~ck…
The women scream at various fans like lunatics because Thai women are crazy…
Michael Kyzer finally enters the ring like a boss…
It is time for Nikki Dean to fight God…
Alecia Matthews: Michael Kyzer made a successful, and brutal, return to a WFWF ring at End Game when he nearly gave Daniel Kirkbride some serious brain damage.
Cameron Stone: It was a wrestling match Alecia, he did what he had to do to win. Was it sporting? Hell no. Was it effective? You’re damn right it was.
Christa Adina: And his opponent…
”Roar” by Katy Perry hits as the WFWF National Champion Nikki Dean makes her way out onto the stage, the title around her waist. She walks down the ramp, slapping hands with the fans on each side at a high energy pace. She stops at the foot of the ramp, unstraps the title from around her waist and holds it up in the air to the cheers of the crowd… before being sent crashing to the floor much to her and their shock!
Alecia Matthews: Wait, what the… oh you’ve got to be kidding me!
Nikki Dean has hit the floor hard and above her stands none other than Ante Whitner, the now former WFWF National Champion. Inside the ring the official is looking at Michael Kyzer as if to accuse him of being in cahoots with the KKK member but Kyzer simply shrugs his shoulders, feigning ignorance. With the match having officially not been started the official is powerless to do anything as Ante grabs Nikki by the hair and drags her up onto her feet.
Cameron Stone: Where’s Josh, why isn’t he out here helping his wife?
Alecia Matthews: We both know that Josh Dean is preparing for his main event, he’s probably not even by a monitor, and I’m betting Ante knows that as well.
Ante Whitner, holding Nikki by the hair, charges towards the security barricade and drives Nikki shoulder first into it, targeting that surgically repaired arm of the National Champion. The crowd boo loudly as Ante begins to stomp the shoulder and arm while Nikki lets out several shouts of pain. In the ring Kyzer has taken to leaning against the turnbuckle in the far corner, relaxing. As the official demands to know what’s going on Kyzer simply replies that he’s “just waiting for the match to start”. The assault continues, Ante again lifting Nikki Dean up onto her feet, pulling her into a front chancery and then lifting her up and overhead with a snap suplex that sends Nikki back first onto the steel ramp.
Alecia Matthews: I’m not buying that Kyzer didn’t have a clue about this; he’s teaming with Ante in the tag tournament after all.
Cameron Stone: That doesn’t mean anything, Nikki’s in this tournament too but you don’t see Trace Demon out here to help her out do you.
Nikki is in some serious pain but Ante Whitner is far from done, laughing as he grabs Nikki by the hair and drags her back up to her feet. He delivers a big Irish whip and sends Nikki Dean shoulder first straight into the steel ring steps as the crowd are ready to riot right now, their boos having become a roar against the former National Champion. Nikki is gripping her surgically repaired arm, feeling the pain ripping through the arm before Ante drives his boot straight into the gut to force the wind out of her. He drags her back up onto his feet, turns her around, hooks the waist before lifting Nikki up and dropping the National Champion straight across the edge of the ring apron arm first.
Alecia Matthews: This is just becoming too much, get him the hell out of here!
Ante Whitner can’t help but laugh at the official who is demanding he leaves ringside. He shakes his head and grabs Nikki by the hair again, pulling her up onto her feet. He again flips her around and hooks the waist, lifting her up to deliver the same drop once more… only for Nikki to flip out the back much to the crowd’s surprise. Nikki leaps up and catches Ante straight in the back with a dropkick with such force that it sends Ante straight into and flying over the top of the steel ring steps. Nikki backs up and leans against the apron, having to catch her breath while Ante slowly makes his way up onto his feet. As he makes it up Nikki runs forwards, leaping up onto the steel ring steps and then straight off of them, twisting through the air and crashing down on top of Ante Whitner with the Corkscrew Spaceman Plancha!
Alecia Matthews: Ante Whitner getting exactly what he deserves, but we can’t still be having a match can we?
Cameron Stone: I think that’s up to Nikki, and she looks like she’s still up for a fight.
Nikki holds her arm and looks like she’s in incredible pain, barely able to move it without feeling a twinge. Still she turns her attention to the ring and to Michael Kyzer who still leans in the corner. Kyzer meets her stare and signals for her to join him in the ring. The official shakes his head, he doesn’t agree with this but Nikki looks furious at the thought of having to throw in the towel. So instead she throws herself into the ring, well, she rolls in under the bottom rope at least. Clearly favouring her one good arm Nikki pulls herself up onto her feet as the crowd cheer loudly.
Cameron Stone: Nikki just received one hell of a beating but she still wants to fight, that’s a champion right there.
Alecia Matthews: But she’s coming off of an injury that kept her out long term, this isn’t the smart thing to do.
The official seems to agree, trying to convince Nikki that she shouldn’t go through with the match. Nikki refuses, the National Champion demanding that the official calls for the bell and gets this match underway. The official looks to Kyzer who simply gives a smug nod and the referee, against his better judgment, calls for the bell.
DING! DING! DING!
Cameron Stone: Well we’re definitely getting a match.
Alecia Matthews: I really hope Nikki doesn’t come to regret this decision.
As the bell signals the beginning of this match Nikki and Kyzer go to lock up when Nikki recoils in pain due to her shoulder which causes Kyzer to simply burst into a laugh at her expense. The crowd boo Kyzer’s reaction and begin a “let’s go Nikki” chant which only seems to increase Kyzer’s laughter. This immediately fires Nikki up and she explodes at Kyzer, nailing him with forearms with her good arm. The veteran pushes Nikki away and then goes for a clothesline only for Nikki to use her stature to her advantage to duck underneath, flip backwards and catch a turning Michael Kyzer in the side of the head with a pele kick!
Alecia Matthews: Nikki is not backing down despite the obvious pain in her arm and shoulder!
Cameron Stone: I don’t know whether Kyzer underestimated her or what, but he’s got to know now that Nikki is a fighter.
The kick drops Kyzer down to one knee at which point Nikki runs the ropes in front of him and catches him flush in the jaw with the enzuigiri much to the delight of the crowd who are still chanting Nikki’s name. Nikki is quick to go for the cover…
ONE!
KICK OUT!
Alecia Matthews: Michael Kyzer kicks out at one to nobody’s surprise, Nikki has to do a lot more than that to beat a veteran like Kyzer and I don’t know whether Ante left her enough to do it.
Cameron Stone: No doubt, and that early pinfall just shows the desperation that Nikki is feeling. She knows she’s hurt, she knows she hasn’t got much in the tank, she has to end this quick or she’ll be ended.
Nikki Dean is quick to mount Kyzer and beings throwing strikes with her one good arm. Unable to use both proves a big difference maker as Kyzer has plenty of room to block a punch and then drive his head up into Nikki’s, knocking her on her ass. Michael Kyzer climbs onto his feet as Nikki staggers up onto hers and the Stoned Messiah is swift to drive his boot straight into the arm sending the National Champion sideways into the turnbuckle. Kyzer traps Nikki in the corner with his own body and stretches out her injured arm, twisting it between the ropes and beginning to pull, drawing out some horrendous screams of pain. The official is quick to make the five count as Kyzer breaks on four, only for the veteran to add some extra injury to, well, injury by driving his entire body straight into the arm and crush Nikki against the turnbuckle in the process.
Alecia Matthews: And it’s no surprise to see Kyzer targeting that arm.
Cameron Stone: He’s been in this business longer than almost anybody, he knows exactly what he’s doing.
Indeed Kyzer pulls Nikki Dean out of the corner with malicious intent, pulling her into a front waistlock and then flipping her overhead with a belly to belly suplex, the Stoned Messiah specifically leaning his body weight to make sure Nikki lands on her shoulder rather than her back. Nikki Dean is in serious pain and the crowd are beginning to regret urging her on into the match after Ante Whitner’s beating. Kyzer grabs hold of that injured arm and stretches it out to begin driving his knee into it repeatedly, each knee strike drawing another scream of pain from the National Champion.
Alecia Matthews: This is getting hard to watch.
Cameron Stone: Nikki’s the one who chose to get in that ring, she could have backed out and we wouldn’t of thought any less of her but no, she had to play the hero.
Kyzer grabs Nikki by the hair and drags her up onto her feet, delivering an Irish whip into the furthest turnbuckle. Kyzer backs up and then charges forwards, bringing his boot up to try and slam it straight into the shoulder but somehow Nikki dodges out of the way, Michael’s boot hitting nothing but padding. He is caught off guard but none more so than when Nikki leaps up, grabs him around the back of the head with her one good arm and drops him back first to the canvas with a falling neckbreaker. The crowd let out a roar at the move as Nikki again rolls over on top of Kyzer for a pinfall.
ONE!
KICK OUT!
Alecia Matthews: And another kick out at the count of one, Nikki showing some fight though.
Cameron Stone: But having fight is not the same as winning. It’s not even the same as surviving.
Nikki sits up and slumps against the ropes, holding her shoulder, likely remembering exactly how it felt to be on the shelf for such a long period of time. Despite that she pulls herself up onto her feet and then drags Kyzer up after her. Nikki delivers an Irish whip across the ring and as Kyzer crashes into the corner back first Dean charges after him, leaping up and delivering a big crossbody in the corner. Kyzer staggers forwards while Nikki actually propels herself over the top rope to land on the ring apron. Nikki quickly climbs to the top as Kyzer shakes the cobwebs loose and turns around just as the National Champion leaps off of the top rope… and into the waiting arms of the Stoned Messiah. Kyzer holds her there for several seconds before spinning her around and dropping her shoulder first straight down across his knee.
Alecia Matthews: Every time Nikki Dan gets any kind of momentum Kyzer is there to bring it to a stop.
Cameron Stone: Of course he is, he’s a pro and Nikki already has a huge target painted on her shoulder.
Again Nikki Dean is left clutching the shoulder as Kyzer climbs up onto his feet and begins putting the boots into the arm. He grabs Nikki by the hair and throws her into the centre of the ring, waiting for her to get onto her knees. As she does so he charges forwards and delivers a running boot straight into the shoulder! Kyzer grabs her before she can drop and yanks her up onto her feet, hooking the arm, pulling her into the clutch and then driving her head first into the canvas with the Odium! The crowd boo loudly as Kyzer pushes Nikki onto her back and makes the cover…
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT!
Alecia Matthews: Nikki kicks out, but there’ll definitely be people questioning whether that was such a smart move.
Cameron Stone: She should of stayed down.
Michael Kyzer doesn’t seem surprised exactly; more amused that Nikki would even bother to kick out. He takes his time, clearly confident as he grabs Nikki by the hair and once more drags her to her feet. He stretches the arm out and delivers a few choice elbows down upon the shoulder for further injury and then spins her around, pulling her in and lifting her up to set her up for the Kyzer Effect. Nikki however uses her speed and litheness to slip out the back and grabs Kyzer’s arm, twisting it up into a hammerlock and then suddenly turns that into the hook kick for the Headcheck! Kyzer drops to the canvas as Nikki scrambles on top of him and hooks the leg for the pin…
ONE!
Alecia Matthews: Nikki Dean with the headcheck, the move she adopted from her husband Josh Dean! Could she shock the world?
TWO!
Cameron Stone: Kyzer didn’t see it coming, he didn’t-
KICK OUT!
Cameron Stone: No it’s not enough!
Indeed Michael Kyzer forces his shoulder up at the count of two, breaking Nikki’s heart just a little bit as she thought she might have had it right there. But still she won’t be disheartened, she forces herself up onto her feet and to the nearby turnbuckle, beginning the climb, undoubtedly setting up the Expulsion. She reaches the top rope when suddenly Ante Whitner leaps up onto the ring apron and charges at her only to get a boot to the face for his trouble, sending him flying to the floor. But the distraction is enough as Kyzer grabs the ropes and crotches Nikki on them. He grabs her by the hair and literally yanks her off of the turnbuckle.
Alecia Matthews: Oh come on, yet more interference by Ante Whitner!
Cameron Stone: And it’s not looking good for Nikki as a result.
Indeed Kyzer doesn’t waist anymore time as he grabs the injured arm and turns Nikki onto her back, hooking the arm and dropping backwards across Nikki’s back with a sick armbar! He’s putting so much torque on it that Nikki Dean’s shoulder looks like it’s about to be forced right out of her skin. Despite Nikki’s fight, despite pushing through as much pain as she can, she knows that there’s nowhere to go and as the pain clouds her thoughts she has no choice but to hammer her hand on the canvas to give Michael Kyzer the victory via submission.
DING! DING! DING!
Christa Adina: And your winner, Michael Kyzer!
Alecia Matthews: Nikki Dean gave it everything she had, she fought her damn heart out, but that pre-match attack by Ante Whitner made it impossible for her to win this one.
Cameron Stone: Give Kyzer some credit, he fought smart, he didn’t let Nikki’s spirit take him off his game and he won the match. Plus he didn’t break anyone’s skull. That’s an improvement.
Don’t talk too soon because it doesn’t look like Michael Kyzer is done just yet. He stands over Nikki and then places a boot down on the shoulder, pushing his weight down upon the worked over limb. Nikki is suddenly lurched back into the land of the living as she lets out a shout of pain, trying to twist her body away from Kyzer to no avail. The official steps in and pushes the Stoned Messiah away. Then suddenly he’s yanked out of the ring, the official landing on his feet on the outside and clocked clean in the jaw with a right hand by Ante Whitner.
Alecia Matthews: So much for your whole “Michael Kyzer doesn’t know what’s going on” argument from earlier.
Cameron Stone: This doesn’t prove he was in on the attack, just means he’s capitalising on the numbers game.
Ante Whitner rolls inside the ring and rises up to stand alongside Michael Kyzer, the two of them staring each other down with some trepidation. Kyzer takes his foot off of the shoulder much to Nikki’s relief but it’s only so Ante can grab her by the hair. He’s about to drag her up to her feet when “Out of the Black” hits the speakers, distracting Whitner and Kyzer in the process. The crowd erupt into cheers for the unlikely hero as Trace Demon, with a very familiar barbed wire kendo stick in hand, emerges onto the stage, fourteen stitches in his head from his match with Joe Bishop.
Alecia Matthews: You wanted to know where Trace Demon was earlier Stone, well there’s your man!
Cameron Stone: We didn’t even know if he’d be in the building tonight, and look at him, he’s clearly hurting from End Game!
Trace Demon might be hurting, but that doesn’t seem to bother him one bit. He stares at the ring where Michael Kyzer and Ante Whitner look at him, Whitner confused while Kyzer just looks nonchalant. Trace slowly makes his way down towards the ring, twirling the kendo stick in his hand while never taking his eyes off of the ring. Ante Whitner acts of his own accord, quickly sliding out of the ring and charging straight at the King of Demons only for Trace to send the barbed wire kendo stick straight into the mid-section of Whitner. Trace rips the barbed wire away, slicing open Whitner’s skin in the process, and then swings it once more, this time straight into the forehead of Whitner which such force that it knocks the former National Champion straight to the ground.
Alecia Matthews: Trace Demon lays Ante Whitner out with that kendo stick, and now it’s just him and Michael Kyzer.
Cameron Stone: Now this is what makes every single WFWF show a must watch.
Michael Kyzer steps into the centre of the ring, staring down at Trace Demon as the King of Demons makes it to the edge of the canvas and then, without even a hint of fear or trepidation, rolls in and pops up onto his feet. The crowd are on their feet as they realize that they’re seeing Trace Demon and Michael Kyzer standing opposite each other in a WFWF ring and they are loving it.
Alecia Matthews: I certainly wasn’t expecting to see this tonight!
Cameron Stone: Well when the pairings were announced we knew we could see this, but you’re right, I was not expecting a confrontation between these two former World Heavyweight Champions when I rolled up to tonight’s show.
The crowd are chanting for a fight but it isn’t forthcoming. Trace and Kyzer simply stare each other down, Kyzer looking at the kendo stick and then shaking his head to say not today. Kyzer backs up and exits the ring through the ropes as the crowd boo, wanting to see a fight between these two. Trace’s glare follows Kyzer as the Stoned Messiah makes his way towards and up the ramp. Ante has climbed onto his feet and is quick to scurry up the ramp behind his partner for this tournament as all eyes turn back towards the ring where Nikki Dean is now on her knees, looking up at Trace Demon.
Alecia Matthews: This is possibly one of the strangest pairings I’ve ever seen, how exactly are they expected to team together?
Cameron Stone: Now that’s a question I wish I had an answer to.
Trace glances back at Nikki Dean, the kendo stick still in his hand, an emotionless look on his face. Suddenly he grabs her by her good arm and yanks her up onto her feet to stand beside him as the crowd cheer for the apparent sign of acceptance by Trace Demon for his new tag team partner. Nikki Dean meanwhile looks just as confused as she did moments ago. One things for certain, this is going to be one eventful tournament.
We now go backstage where Daniel Knight is found alongside the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion Drakz, the belt slung over his taped shoulder. The crowd pops.
Daniel Knight: Drakz, can you tell us your feelings on what happened at the start of tonight’s show?
Drakz: Hello to you as well Daniel.
Drakz rolls his eyes.
Drakz: In answer to your question I have to admit I was touched. It takes a lot for a man like Phillip Schneider to do what he did. He’s built a career on showing a complete lack of respect for everyone and everything, and yet here tonight he went against all of that. Tonight not only did he return this championship belt to the rightful owner but he actually announced in front of the whole world that he respects me. He might not respect anyone else on the face of this planet, so that statement alone has to mean something, right?
Daniel Knight: I was actually talking about the appearance of Yukio Blaze and his…
Drakz: What? Give me a break sunshine. You want me to talk about THAT?! I’m not one for nuance, but I can only guess that little gesture of Blaze’s means his third wish is a shot at me and this gold. I’m not a f*cking genie. I don’t grant wishes Daniel. The only people who get a chance to compete for this title are those that have earned it. Has Yukio Blaze earned it? Tell me, what was Yukio doing at End Game?
He waits for Knight’s response.
Daniel Knight: Erm, he was in a triple threat match.
Drakz: He was in a triple threat match. Yes. Opening the show. Against a couple of guys I barely know the name of. Hardly highlight reel stuff is it? And what happened in that match exactly?
Again he waits, but Knight is slow to reply.
Drakz: I really mean it Daniel. I have no idea, because I haven’t seen it.
Daniel Knight: ……..Yukio was pinned by Stan McMann.
Drakz: Wait. What? He lost? Jesus. I don’t think we need to comment anymore on what Yukio Blaze wants do we? He’ll get what he’s given. Sh*t. He really lost?
Daniel Knight: He really lost. Erm. Okay well how about your opinion on your partner in the Tag Team Tournament? Also your comments on the newly revealed fact that the tournament itself will crown new WFWF Tag Team Champions.
Drakz: Haha. That’s more like it. Now this is an interesting one. I’ve been paired with a man who has tried to take my head off with that foot of his. I’m fighting alongside a man who many deem to be a f*cking Dragon for goodness sake. Tugarin Zmey. If we can stay on the same page, and I understand that that is a HUGE if, but if we can, those belts are as good as ours. I know he wants them back, and I wouldn’t mind a taste of that as well. I’ve got two shoulders. Why not dress them both with gold?
Daniel Knight: What do you think the chances are of Zmey maintaining a partnership with you throughout this tourney? His boss of sorts doesn’t have the best relationship with you.
Drakz: Donnie? He hates me. There’s not much more to it than that. However I think his gold lust might actually surpass that hatred. Plus after the way Michael’s treated him since his return, I think he’d quite like to one up him. I can’t promise anything, but I think I’m pretty safe. Anyway Daniel, I’ll be going. I’ve got hands to kiss and babies to shake. Ciao.
Drakz exits stage left and Daniel turns to the camera.
Daniel Knight: Back to you in the arena Alecia and Cameron.
Alecia Matthews: And what a great night we've had here at Ascension as we gear up for our main event! And if you're just joining us, the match has a different a much different dynamic than what was advertised as Josh Dean is no longer Tag Team Champion.
Cameron Stone: That's right Alecia, but he will be given a great opportunity to add another championship to his resume. And in WFWF, being able to win big matches is key.
Alecia Matthews: But you can not sleep on Daniel Kirkbride or Samael Ahriman, because both of them have shown to posess the complete package. All four men in this tag team main event are jockeying for position tonight, and a win will go a long way in Lila Sleater's eyes. Let's send it up to Christa Adina to get us started for our main event.
"Cocaine" by Nightcore resonates throughout the arena as a darkness descends upon the arena. Strobe lights of all colors flash seizure style at the top of the ramp, revealing a black figure; dry ice consuming him. This man reaches to his side and pulls out a patent sword, swinging the hilt around, causing the blade to reflect off of the strobe lights creating one mighty fine light effects show. When the lights kick back on, the sword is pointed down towards the ring, sheathed, and he begins to walk.
Christa Adina: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall and is your main event of the evening. Introducing team number one, first representing the KoKaine Konspiracy. From Ira, Vermont, weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds... Samael Ahriman!
Ahriman continues his way down the ramp, a cocky smile at the edges of his lips from the fans incessant booing. He rolls under the bottom rope and kips up, observing his surroundings. He takes his sword out from his side and hands it to the official who puts it at ringside.
The arena lights go out, for a few seconds complete silence sweeps over the WFWF fans. Then 'Lose It' by Atreyu blasts around the arena, as Joe Bishop emerges in the entrance way to a heated response.
Christa Adina: And his tag team partner, from Wimbledon, England, weighing 195lbs, he is your WFWF International Champion, Joooooe Bishoooop!
The three time National Champion looks completely focused on the task at hand as he marches down the ramp, his eyes drawn to the ring. The Englishman doesn't allow the tirade of abuse he's receiving distract him from the task at hand, he climbs up the ring steps and enters the ring. Bishop is left completely still in the middle of the ring as the music fades, the lights return, and he is ready to take on his opponent.
Alecia Matthews: Folks, the entire WFWF multiverse has been left scratching their heads since this match was announced. As many of you already know, shortly after End Game went off the air, WFWF's medical staff released a statement to WFWF.com, noting that Daniel Kirkbride would be out of action for six to eight weeks to recover from severe head trauma dealt out at the hands of Michael Kyzer.
Cameron Stone: That's right, Alecia. Now, sources have told us that one of WFWF's top attending physicians refused to clear Kirkbride for action tonight, and yet, we've all seen his name printed clear as day on tonight - gah! What in the hell is that?!
Cameron is interrupted by the sudden blast of a single, resonating note on a shofar as the arena lights dim, save for a series of blinding whites, focused solely upon the stage area. The shofar blasts again as the crowd begins glaring around the darkened arena, looking for the source of the dulled, shrill sound that echoes throughout for a third time.
With the audience's curiosity thoroughly piqued, a lone, unaccompanied voice calls out in song, the long drawn out notes being sung echoing throughout the arena, a layering of musical accompaniment being added with each line.
"Prepare ye the way of The Lord. Prepare ye the way of The Lord. Prepare ye the way of The Lord. Prepare ye the way of The Lord!"
The final note gives way to a rousing rock number, the refrain now being sung with full gusto by an entire choir of voices.
Alecia Matthews: We were expecting to bring you the main event on tonight's card - just what is going on here, Cam?
A domineering figure steps out from behind the curtain and into the bathing light, his intimidating physique first only visible in silhouette. His hands clenched into fists at his side, he takes another step, his face becoming plainly clear for all to see in the bright bask of light as he surveys the entire arena, an almost disapproving look washing over his weathered face.
Alecia Matthews: Is that - ?
Cameron Stone: It is - that's David Brennan!
The crowd breaks their confused silence to go ballistic at the sight of the returning familiar face. Brennan's facade hardly cracks at the boom of the crowd as he steps to the side, crossing his arms across his chest as he clears the way for Daniel Kirkbride, who steps out now into the light, his arms a stark contrast to Brennan's, held out wide for all to see in an almost welcoming gesture. He turns on the spot to greet one side of the sell-out crowd with a warm, endearing smile, crossing then to the other side to offer the second half of the crowd the same, pausing at Brennan's side to clap a hand across the silent brute's shoulder before procuring a microphone to address the crowd, smiling warmly and confidently as he speaks.
Daniel Kirkbride: What an event! What a show! The End Game! Phillip Schneider's final stand! An ascent to the top of a ladder to determine the one true WFWF National Champion! The return - of Michael Kyzer!
The crowd erupts in a chorus of boos as the very utterance of the self proclaimed God of F*ck's name. Daniel pauses to allow them time to expel their vitriol, before smiling at their response, a look of understanding and confidence on his face now. Pacing back and forth across the stage, he continues.
Daniel Kirkbride: Now, now. Let us give Michael Kyzer his just dues, friends. You see, Michael Kyzer won a hard fought battle! Michael Kyzer walked into End Game harder, faster, and stronger! Michael Kyzer returned to the WFWF with one goal in mind, brothers and sisters, and that goal which he has now set onward toward with his best foot forward is the complete and utter annihilation of anything and everything that stands in his path, but perhaps most importantly, my friends - Michael Kyzer was in part sent from above!
The crowd responds with a degree of confusion that probably rivals what we're all thinking right now - just what in the hell is Daniel Kirkbride on about?
Alecia Matthews: Does something seem, I dunno - OFF about Daniel Kirkbride tonight?
Cameron Stone: I'm gonna go ahead and say EVERYTHING seems off about Daniel Kirkbride tonight! What the hell is he on about? What the hell is David Brennan doing here?
Let's find out, shall we?
Daniel Kirkbride: You see, friends, it's no secret that I consider myself a man of God. I've told myself for so many years that God has a plan for me and that God would guide me toward the answers and would steer me toward all that would be right in the world, but brothers and sisters, I bear the unfortunate burden of telling you that this faith was all for naught!
Alecia Matthews: Is...no, is Daniel Kirkbride renouncing his faith?
The audience seems to be in a fair state of confusion as well, as the raucous cheers that usually follow Kirkbride's punctual words slowly become diluted with a few audible jeers that seem to betray the normal rapport the young star shares with his fans.
Daniel Kirkbride: Brothers and sisters - faith alone will not sustain us anymore! My eyes were shut! Was I so blind to see that God had put not one, not two, but three roadblocks in my way to tell me that I was headed down the wrong path? Was I so foolish to think that God's plan for me involved a spat of embarrassing losses as a way of dealing with childish insecurities?
Cameron Stone: It was a fair bit more endearing when he did.
Daniel Kirkbride: Friends - God wants so much more for us. God wants us, his followers, his loyal servants, to thrive, on Earth as we shall in Heaven, and it is for that reason, friends that I thank Michael Kyzer for affording me the opportunity to have an awakening! An awakening needed to clarify the vision of God's plan! An awakening that allowed me to open my eyes and see the light in a brighter tomorrow! I was content - content to be second best. Content to wallow in relative obscurity while lesser men climbed over the broken wretch of a visage I displayed to take that which rightfully belonged to me in the eyes of the almighty!
As Kirkbride continues espousing mantras entirely unbecoming of what the crowd had come to expect from the once humble young athlete, the audience very certainly turns right against him, feeling almost let down by this sudden an inexplicable change in presence.
Daniel Kirkbride: WFWF's awakening begins tonight. It begins in this very room, and tonight, it begins with Samael Ahriman and Joe Bishop.
Shedding his customary entrance vest, the color palette of his attire now swapped - white where there was once black, and vice versa - Daniel Kirkbride begins making his way down the ramp, trailed closely by David Brennan. Approaching the ring, he half glares, half smirks as he climbs into the ring, staring down the crowd without breaking his warm, now almost arrogant smile as he awaits his fellow competitors.
The heavy guitar riffs scream through the speakers as red and gold spotlights alternate in the entranceway. The sold out Phillips Arena crowd rises to their feet, knowing that the hometown guy is ready to go to work. The drums kick in and Kevin Rudolf's "In The City" fills the arena.
Every day I'm a star in the city Walk the streets like a wanted man All the time got my shine looking pretty Motherf*ckers all know who I am
Josh Dean's visage appears on the entranceway and the crowd noise turns to a near fever pitch as he looks out among them he begins to walk to the ring.
Every day feel the heat in the city Like the barrel of a smoking gun Read the signs, see the lights - they're so pretty You're the one now turn me on
He stops and smacks the steel ramp, shooting up gold and red pyros as he spreads his arms wide and continues his descent. The lights return to normal with the alternating strobes as it's revealed he is wearing another Atlanta sports jersey, this time Braves legend Chipper Jones. The crowd erupts!
Christa Adina: And his tag team partner, representing the Saviors of Salvation, from ATLANTA, GEORGIA! weighing it at 225 pounds. He is "The Franchise" Josh Dean!
Every day I'm alive in the city She's a fire that lives by the sun On the street looking fine, looking pretty She sucks the heat off my - gun
By this point Josh has climbed the stairs and steps quickly into the ring. He walks over to the turnbuckle and makes a diamond shape with his hands, mouthing 'gun' along with the words as he forms a gun shape.
I will eat you alive in the city While they pull up in fancy cars Drinking wine, wasting time, you are pretty Politicians, movie stars
He spreads his arms wide in his trademark pose as the crowd eats it up. Josh takes his toboggan and jersey off, throwing it into the crowd as the erupt once again. Josh hops down and rolls his neck.
(Hey) give it all up for me (Hey) give it all up for me (Hey) give it all up for me City boy life
The music fades down and all four men enter the ring. There is a stand off.
DING DING!
Alecia Matthews: And our main event is underway, and it looks like Josh Dean and Samael Ahriman will start us off. Listen to this crowd, they absolutely love Josh Dean here in the heart of Georgia!
Josh and Sam do start it off and Sam bullrushes Josh in the corner, still fuming over End Game. He goes to work with hard punches and chops in the corner, but is quickly reversed by Josh, who lights Sam up a brutal knife edge chop and a blistering right hand to the jaw! Sam tries to escape the corner, but Josh is on him with another knife edge chop to the chest and a head rattling European Uppercut! Irish whip into the ropes and Sam puts on the brakes before Josh can follow it up. Sam slows the pace down and they lock up. Sam ducks under and picks the ankle and drives through with an inside trip, landing in the half guard position. Josh ties him up, shrimping his hips and regaining full guard. Mission control position from Josh as he looks to attack off his back, and the quick explosion traps Sam's arm in position for the B.S.E (Yes Lock) but Sam rolls through and frees his arm. It's a high level scramble to the feet and Josh seizes back control. Sam reaches over and grabs the head and looks for a head and arm throw, but Josh is able to drop his weight and drag Sam back to the mat. Sam covers his head to defend against strikes as Josh threatens a choke. Keeping his chin tucked, Sam frees himself from Josh's legs and scampers to his feet. Josh takes a defensive stance and climbs to his feet.
Cameron Stone: It looks like both men are testing each other's grappling chops here in the early going.
Back to the feet and they circle each other. A lock up and Sam extends the arm with a straight arm wringer. Josh rolls to his feet and reverses into a side headlock. Sam pushes Josh off into the ropes and Josh knocks him down with a big shoulder block. Josh hits the ropes and Sam ducks a running clothesline. Sam runs to the ropes and Josh nails him with a beautiful standing dropkick on the rebound! Sam backs over into his corner and tags Joe Bishop in. Joe comes in and Josh drops him with a drop toe hold before grabbing a front headlock. He rolls through looking for a Anaconda Choke, but Joe grabs the arm and prevents Josh from locking it up. Joe reverses into a hammerlock, but Josh reverses and takes Joe up for a back suplex. Joe flips out and lands a high knee as Josh turns around. Josh is back up to his feet and Joe lands a stiff kick to the thigh, which is answered by Josh! Josh grabs an arm wringer, controlling Joe as he backs over to his corner and tagging in Daniel Kirkbride.
Alecia Matthews: Now its going to get interesting with Kirkbride in the match. I have to wonder how much he's recovered after that hard hitting contest with Michael Kyzer.
Cameron Stone: The better question is has he recovered mentally.
Daniel enters the ring as Josh has control of Joe's arm and lights Joe's ribs up with a big right hand. Joe doubles over and Daniel goes to work with an arm wringer, using it to whip Joe off the ropes. Daniel follows Joe in and faceplates him into the mat with a big running bulldog! Daniel shoots the half,

Kickout by Joe!
Joe pushes himself up to his feet and Daniel catches him with a hard right hand that has Joe on roller skates. He begs Daniel off, but in reality it's the tried and true ploy designed to turn the tide, which Joe does with a rake to the eyes. Daniel steps back holding his face and Joe catches him with a running calf kick to the head that drops Daniel. Joe has him down and methodically stomps the gut of Daniel before mouthing of to Josh on the outside, drawing Josh into the ring and a massive amount of boos. Fake tag and Sam comes into the ring as the ref tends to Josh.
Cameron Stone: He's not the legal man ref. Wake up!
Alecia Matthews: Smart play by Bishop to stop the bleeding and get the fresh man Ahriman in.
Sam enters the ring and takes his time putting the boots to Daniel as he tries to cover up. Sam kicks at the legs and it forces Daniel to scoot back to his feet. Sam feints a spin to back Daniel up and raise his guard, before landing a vicious Ei Gi Kwan Soo (Vertical Punch to the Solarplex), sending Daniel collapsing into the corner, desperate to catch his breath. Sam is having none of it as he whips Daniel into the neutral corner and crashes into him with huge spin wheel kick in the corner! Daniel collapses to the mat and Sam, quick as a cat, vaults to the top rope and flies off with a big double sledge to the top of the head. Sam with the followup pin,

Daniel kicks out and Sam makes the tag.
Alecia Matthews: And we see the strategy starting to take it's effect on Daniel Kirkbride. They're going after that concussion.
Cameron Stone: Aside from that creepy promo before the match, Daniel has barely gotten out of the gate.
Joe enters the ring, stalking the injured Daniel and as Daniel gets to his feet, Joe runs him back first into the corner, driving big shoulder rams to the ribs. Joe backs up and smashes Daniel in the corner with a huge forearm. Daniel staggers out and Joe wraps him up and hits a violent looking snap suplex before floating over into mount and raining down punches to the head. Daniel, somewhat disoriented, gets hit with a few big shots that cause his head to hit the mat. Daniel tries his best to fight back, but Joe is relentless with his assault. He drags Daniel to the corner and tags in Sam, who is right back on the attack with big punches to the head. He lifts Daniel to his feet and whips him into the ropes, Daniel reverses and there's a blind tag to Joe as Sam hits a jumping front kick to the chest. On the outside, Joe slingshots in and connects with a beautiful elbow drop to the chest. Lateral press,

Daniel kicks out!
Joe grabs a hold of a reverse Chinlock, looking to continue working on the head and neck of Daniel. Josh is cheering him on from the apron as Daniel wears the anguish on his face. Daniel gets to his feet and lands an elbow to the midsection. A second elbow breaks the hold and Daniel fights back with a right hand to the jaw. Joe kicks the knee out and PLANTS DANIEL WITH A SNAP DDT RIGHT ON TOP OF HIS HEAD! SH*T! Joe looks to the turnbuckle and heads up top. Daniel is stirring on the mat as Joe positions himself. He jumps off, Flying Splash coming, but DANIEL GETS THE KNEES UP! Joe flops around the mat in pain as Daniel, buys himself more time. Joe is back on his feet and throws a kick that's caught. As Joe hops on one leg, Daniel trips the base leg and locks up the Holy Cross (Texas Cloverleaf)! Joe is in a bad way, but Sam charges into the ring and blasts Daniel in the back of the head with a Spinning Hook Kick! Daniel hits the mat like a ton of bricks which prompts Josh to come into the ring and clothesline Sam out of the ring! Sam hits the deck and as he pops up to his feet Josh charges the ropes and DIVES OVER, HITTING SAM WITH A NO HAND SOMERSAULT PLANCHA! F*CK YEAH! THE CROWD GOES NUTS!
Alecia Matthews: Everyone is down! The match is anyone's at this point!
Cameron Stone: Someone needs to get a tag but there's no partners available!
On the outside, Josh and Sam are on their feet and trading shots. On the inside, Joe is up, shaking off the effects of Daniel's submission hold. Sam reverses Josh into the steel steps and Joe lands a kick to the gut. Daniel doubles over and Joe looks to position Daniel for a spike piledriver, but Daniel back drops Joe out of desperation. Joe is back to his feet and Daniel looks for the New Covenant, Joe with the reversal into a German Suplex. Daniel lands on his feet and DRILLS JOE WITH A MASSIVE SUPERKICK! Daniel collapses to the canvas and Joe is knocked for a loop. Sam is on the apron, looking for a tag as Josh claws his way up to the apron.
Cameron Stone: Turning point in the match! Whoever gets the tag first could very well win this thing!
Daniel is going in the wrong direction to his corner and Joe is still groggy but turns over to his stomach. He's reaching out for a tag but is still a ways away. Daniel finally gets turned around and claws his way toward his corner. It's a race to the tag and Joe gets there first. Sam comes into the ring and grabs Daniel's foot, but a well placed boot knocks Sam back enough for Daniel to make the tag to Josh!
Alecia Matthews: And here he comes!
Josh springboards to the top rope and jumps over Sam as he charges in. Sam turns around and Josh traps the arm, dropping him with a swinging neckbreaker! He sits up, feeling the crowd reacting. Sam gets to his feet and Josh takes him over with a snapmare, followed by a soccer kick to the spine. Josh hits the adjacent ropes and looks for a low angle Yakuza Kick, but Sam dodges it and sends Josh into the ropes. On the rebound, Sam snaps off a hurricanrana, and Josh rolls through! He deadlifts Sam off the mat and charges to the corner! BUCKLE BOMB! Sam stumbles out of the corner into the waiting clutches of a Josh Reverse STO chained into the Peruvian Necktie! Sam is in trouble and rolls through into a jackknife pin,

Kickout by Josh!
Up to the feet and Sam charges in for an O Soto Gari, but Josh fights it off with a deep arm drag. Sam charges in and Josh is right there to catch him and dump him overhead with a big Exploder Suplex! Josh is up as Sam retreats to the corner. Sam gets the knees up to the face, followed by a huge O Soto Gari! Josh is down and Sam goes to the top, Phoenix Splash on it's way, but Josh moves out of the way. Sam bails at the last second and rolls to his feet, but Josh meets him in the middle....BLUE THUNDER DRIVER! PINNING COMBINATION!

SAM GETS THE SHOULDER UP!
Cameron Stone: Nearly had him!
Josh looks in slight shock, but is steadfast in his approach. He stalks Sam, and as he rises, Josh hoists him up to the shoulders, looking for the Chapter 11. Sam, out of desperation, lands stiff elbow strikes to the temple to escape. He throws a kick that Josh catches, and spins Sam around, but Sam lands the Dragonwhip kick to the face. Josh stumbles to a knee and Sam throws a high roundhouse kick to the head that Josh ducks. As Sam spins around, Josh wraps him up in his clutches. Uranage, but Sam blocks it and hits a jawbreaker. Josh pops up holding his jaw. Sam backs up against the ropes, but is cut off by the Can't Walk (Oblique Kick into a kneeling knee). Sam's head snaps back and he stumbles into the ropes, where Bishop gets the tag. Joe goes into the ring and charges Josh, but is on the receiving end of a Tilt a Whirl Backbreaker for his trouble, followed up by the Nail in the Coffin (Falcon Arrow)! Josh looks for the finish, he has Bishop in his sights. He hoists Joe up to his shoulders, there's a tag from Daniel and Josh doesn't realize it as he hit's the Chapter 11 (Royal Flush)! The ref lets Josh know of the blind tag and while he's not happy, he climbs out of the ring as Daniel gets the cover!

DING DING!
Christa Adina: Here are your winners, Daniel Kirkbride and Josh Dean!
Alecia Matthews: Well it's certainly an auspicious end to our main event tonight! Josh Dean had the match well in hand, but it ends up being Kirkbride who picks up the pin on the International Champion. WHAT THE HELL!
No more than a couple moments after Alecia finishes her thought, Daniel Kirkbride lays out Josh with the New Covenant (Jumping Cutter) out of nowhere! The crowd, who was happy to see the good guys win, have started showering Daniel in boos as he reaches down to the mat, picking up Joe Bishop's International Title.
Cameron Stone: Looks like someone wants to enter their name in the hat!
Daniel stands over a fallen Josh and Joe, holding the International Title above his head and staring up at the lights while he closes his eyes. A wide smile crosses his face as the show fades to black. HOLY SH*T!
