Mets defeated the Cubs 4-2 as they head back to Chicago up 2-0. Jacob degroom gets the ball to try to give the Mets a 3-0 series. Noah was great last night. Let's Go Mets just 6 more wins. Sup Rey, long time no see.

I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch, but I will say this.
For a team that wasn't supposed to make the Playoffs last year, wasn't going to complete for the division, and certainly wasn't going to win more games then any other team in the AL, it's been a hell of a follow up year.

The Royals can go we found that last year. But congrats to the Mets on the absolutely out of nowhere run. Those are fun in all sports.

I knew The Cubs weren't going to make it to the World Series, it wasn't their time. They had a great season and will be a force to be reckoned with next year.

Hopefully the umps tonight realize they owe the Royals a couple of calls after the refusal to call any third strikes for an entire inning on Wednesday.

Hopefully the umps tonight realize they owe the Royals a couple of calls after the refusal to call any third strikes for an entire inning on Wednesday. Cardinals fans who remember Game 7 in the '85 WS and a call at first base may call that karma. I'm calling it a wash. And new day new game. Let's clinch at home, boys.

Great series.
See you Tuesday, Mets.
Again, here's to an enjoyable and injury free World Series.

Revere should be pissed at himself. Yes that pitch was not a strike, but, HE WAS CALLING IT A STRIKE ALL NIGHT FOR BOTH TEAMS!
You dont know the strike zone in the 9th, its on you. Bad zone all night.
Royals in 6

World Series prediction: the Mets will sweep the Royals. Daniel Murphy and the Mets are on fire right now.

Should be a fun World Series to watch this year. Kinda have the feeling were in for some low scoring games.

Disappointed to see the loss from the Jays. Oh well, back to the re-build for another 7-10 years.

What a weird way to end someone season, but I guess it has been that was for most of the AL playoffs. The Moustakas homer in the second was a close call that I am glad went the Royals way. I actually set out in that area on the last weekend homestand of the regular season and that ball was caught only three or four people from where I was during that game so that is kind of cool. The strike call on Revere was bad but so were the some of the ball calls in game 5 that helped the Jays stay alive.

If the Mets win the World Series, the Syndergaard/DArnaud for RA Dick trade would end up being one of the worst in Blue Jays history, along with Roger Clemens for David Wells and David Cone for some scrubs.
