I’m liking the way you are presenting Ludvig Borga and his feud with Lex Luger. Sgt. Slaughter playing a role in this feud and being used to elevate Borga is a good touch. Perfect/Diesel is a huge main event for Superstars, but I don't imagine it ending clean. I look forward to more for this as I’m a mark for old school diaries if you couldn't tell.

ALL-AMERICAN WRESTLING | SHAWN MICHAELS (with DIESEL) defeats KOKO B. WARE with a Superkick.
WWF WRESTLING CHALLENGE 12 September, 1993
Jim Ross and Gorilla Monsoon welcome us to the show here in Lowell, MA at the Memorial Auditorium! On this afternoon's episode of Wrestling Challenge.. Tatanka! Doink the Clown! Adam Bomb! The 1-2-3 Kid! And WWF Champion Yokozuna is a guest in the Funeral Parlour!
MARTY JANNETTY DEFEATS SID GARRISON | Jannetty's pace and high-flying finesse cannot be matched and he wraps up victory over Garrison with his patented Rocker Dropper!
An "Unbelievable" commercial aired featuring Bret "HITMAN" Hart.
Gene Okerlund interviews Ludvig Borga on the arena podium and asks him to clarify what he's looking for in an opponent because so far he's claimed that nothing is good enough for him here in the United States of America. Borga says that the U.S. is sub-standard and so are their athletes. Anyone who steps into the ring with him will be broken. He's then confronted by the returning Sgt. Slaughter, who receives a thunderous reception. Slaughter does not appreciate the disrespect that Ludvig Borga is showing to the United States or it's people. Therefore, he is issuing a challenge of his own.. 8 days from now Monday Night Raw returns live on the USA Network, and Slaughter wants Borga one-on-one! Borga doesn't answer, instead walking past Slaughter to leave the podium.. but he attacks Sarge from behind! Borga puts him into the Argentine Backbreaker and yells in Slaughter's face that he accepts! (WRESTLING CHALLENGE 05/09/1993)
Ross and Gorilla discuss tomorrow night's return of Monday Night Raw and hype the match between Ludvig Borga and Sgt. Slaughter. Gorilla comments that Lex Luger may be suspended but he will be watching closely come 9PM tomorrow.
1-2-3 KID DEFEATS SCOTT TAYLOR | The World Wrestling Federation's resident underdog is suddenly no longer the underdog here! Having been in the ring with the likes of Razor Ramon, Ted DiBiase and IRS, the Kid uses his experiences gained to defeat Taylor and does it with a stunning 1-2-3 Kick!
A graphic appears on screen hyping our next pay-per-view event - Survivor Series - with the tag-line "WHO WILL SURVIVE!?"
MONEY INC. DEFEAT TOM MCNEANY AND RAY ROY | Former three-time WWF Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and IRS are too good for their opponents here. Their "rich" performance is too "taxing" for McNeany and Roy as IRS wins with the Write-Off. During the match, an insert promo airs featuring Money Inc. throwing more verbal barbs at Razor Ramon. Clearly their differences with the Bad Guy have not been resolved.
Ross and Gorilla discuss another match for tomorrow night on Monday Night Raw - Yokozuna one-on-one with "HACKSAW" Jim Duggan. Yoko' appears later tonight in the Funeral Parlour.
A graphic appears on screen hyping our next pay-per-view event - Survivor Series - with the tag-line "WHO WILL SURVIVE!?"
Up next... Adam Bomb!
"MACHO MAN" Randy Savage appears in a highly-energetic Slim Jim commercial - "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM! OHHH YEAHHHHHH!!"
ADAM BOMB (with JOHNNY POLO) DEFEATS CHRIS DUFFY | How can you not be scared of this guy? The resident of Three Mile Island sets his glowing gaze on Chris Duffy, and it's all over before it even really begins. The 6"6 terror sends his opponent to an explosive demise with the Atom Smasher.
Backstage, WWF Champion Yokozuna, Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette are standing in front of the Japanese flag. Cornette speaks on behalf of the group, declaring the "war" against Lex Luger over as the victorious champion is still standing. Never again will you see Lex Luger across the ring from Yokozuna. Never again will you see Lex Luger challenge Yokozuna. And certainly you will never see Lex Luger as World Wrestling Federation Champion. It's the demise of the fans hero, the death of all their hopes to see him beat the unbeatable Yokozuna. So, in the spirit of death and demise they have accepted an invitation to the Funeral Parlour next week to discuss in full the end of Lex Luger and the continuation of Yokozuna's legendary reign as champion. From the look on his face it seems Yoko' isn't looking forward to it! (WRESTLING CHALLENGE 05/09/1993)
"LORD" Alfred Hayes brings us the WWF Update.. featuring promotion for tomorrow night's Monday Night Raw, including Borga vs. Slaughter and Yokozuna vs. "HACKSAW" with an insert from both USA representatives pledging their allegiance to victory!.. An insert promo from Jerry Lawler who called out Bret Hart for being a "fraud" and mocked his "disfunctional" family.. Comments from Mr. Perfect, Shawn Michaels and Diesel on the upcoming bout between Perfect and Diesel on the next edition of Superstars.. Hype for the upcoming Madison Square Garden Special where "MACHO MAN" Randy Savage challenges WWF Champion Yokozuna, plus more matches announced here exclusively - The Undertaker squares off with Adam Bomb! Owen Hart one-on-one with "THE MODEL" Rick Martel! And WWF Tag Team Champions The Steiners team with Tatanka to face The Quebecers and Bam Bam Bigelow!
TATANKA DEFEATS DOINK THE CLOWN | The run goes on! The trail does not go cold as Tatanka picks up yet another victory, disposing of the WWF's resident prankster with a Samoan Drop. Following the match, Doink dumped a pale of water over the head of Howard Finkel!
Up next.. Yokozuna is in the Funeral Parlour!
The unmistakable shrieking shrill of Paul Bearer, shrouded in the mist of the Funeral Parlour set, welcomes us to his Undertaker's domain. Enter if you want to embrace fear! We soon hear the entrance music of the WWF Champion Yokozuna. The massive behemoth enters the arena alongside Mr. Fuji and his advisor Jim Cornette. Bearer questions why Yokozuna looks so afraid. Cornette responds as the spokesman for the Champion. He says that Yokozuna fears nothing, not Lex Luger, not the Funeral Parlour, not The Undertaker, not anybody.. debatable as Yoko' is constantly looking over his shoulder to see what lurks in the shadows! Cornette goes on to explain that to insinuate that the World Wrestling Federation Champion puts himself on a level below anyone else by fearing them is insulting, derogatory and false. Yokozuna did not fear Lex Luger at SummerSlam when he walked away still the WWF Champion. Now the hopes of Luger, the stars and the stripes are OVER! DONE! DEAD! Luger looked into Yokozuna's eyes and buckled under the pressure of fear. Cornette challenges Bearer to look into the eyes of Yokozuna and experience fear for himself. Fuji and Cornette start destroying the set as the WWF Champion towers over Paul Bearer with a menacing scowl. Bearer ducks in fear but there's soon a shadow looming over them all as a casket door swings open behind them. Out steps The Undertaker! Yoko and his party disperse as this ghostly figure drifts into the set. Yokozuna's eyes are wide open! Bearer raises the microphone to The Undertaker for him to deliver a bone-chilling message to their guests.. "Yokozuna, if you want to stare into the face of fear, I challenge you to face me. I promise you, Yokozuna, you will not be afraid.. you will be terrified!"
An ICOPRO commercial airs featuring Razor Ramon.. "YOU'VE GOTTA WANT IT!"
Jim Ross and Gorilla Monsoon close the show by hyping next week's show - Giant Gonzalez, Bam Bam Bigelow, The Steiners, Yokozuna and The Undertaker all in action!

Wrestling Challenge was pretty good. Hyped up the upcoming Raw very well, displayed the right characters, and helped aid in putting over guys like Borga as a beast. Usually I don't like the "Anti-USA" gimmicks as I feel they're outdated, but considering this takes place in 1993 I think it's excusable. Especially considering Sgt. Slaughter is representing the American side. Anyway, you booked his segment well and their matchup on Raw is going to be great! The Perfect vs HBK/Diesel storyline is one I'm probably the most interested in right now. Love HBK's career at this time period. Yoko seeming hesitant is interesting. Not sure what to expect with this storyline outside of Luger's return. Putting the strap on him could be interesting as he never got that push in the WWF. I can see The Undertaker being the "buffer" champion guys like Meltzer like to talk about when speaking on old school wrestling. He's much more of a believable threat to a guy like Yokozuna than someone luger's size. Hope you use him (Luger) well, though. I think he could be the face of the company, but unfortunately he's kind of overshadowed by guys like HBK, Hart, Taker, Razor, etc.
LOVE your champions graphics. The posters are so clean and professional looking. I think this diary is going to deserve a spotlight after this upcoming one.

Personally I think an Undertaker title reign would be nice, maybe you should give Taker the belt at Survivor Series and have him drop the belt at the Royal Rumble to Yokozuna in a Casket Match too.

WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW 13 September, 1993
"TWO WEEKS AGO.. LUDVIG BORGA DECLARED HIS OPPOSITION TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND SAVAGELY ATTACKED SGT. SLAUGHTER! TONIGHT.. SOMEBODY WILL STAND TALL. ONE NATION WILL RISE. THE BATTLE LINES HAVE BEEN DRAWN.. TONIGHT.. IT'S WAAAAAAAAAR!" ___________________________
Vince McMahon's bellowing voice is heard welcoming us to New York City! "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw!" He is joined by Bobby "THE BRAIN" Heenan and "MACHO MAN" Randy Savage! Tonight, war breaks out between Sgt. Slaughter and Ludvig Borga as they meet one-on-one! Also tonight, you will see The Smoking Gunns, Mr. Perfect, and a special interview with Razor Ramon! Plus, a hard-hitting main event that will see "HACKSAW" Jim Duggan step into the ring with the World Wrestling Federation Champion Yokozuna!
MR. PERFECT DEFEATS PHIL APOLLO | We kick off tonight's action with a masterful display from Mr. Perfect. His expertise in the ring is something to behold and something that Shawn Michaels and Diesel especially should be taking note of if they have any chance of overcoming his challenge. The former Intercontinental Champion picks up the pinfall victory with the Perfect-Plex. Following the match, Perfect invites Savage into the ring and begins speaking on the mic about Shawn Michaels. Perfect is goading Michaels into giving him a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship, stating that he will beat Diesel in their upcoming match on Superstars and then he's coming for the "HEART BREAK KID"!
A vignette airs featuring the WWF's newest star, Jeff Jarrett. That's J-E-double F.. Double J-E-double R-E-double T. He is seen walking around the streets of Music City! He comes up to the Country Music Hall of Fame and the gigantic sign outside it.. Jarrett claims that the country music industry shuns him because he is too talented. He is so talented, in fact, that they should consider renaming this building the "Double J Hall of Fame" with a giant marquee outside for the entire world to see. However, despite being the greatest country music star in history he has something else in mind and that's coming to the World Wrestling Federation.. because once he becomes the greatest wrestler in the WWF nobody will be able to ignore his talent. "Country music fans, wrestling fans, WWF fans, remember the name. Once again, that's J-E-double F.. Double J-E-double R-E-double T!" A twinkle appears on his goofy smile as we head back to the show. Promotional consideration paid for by the following... We see another ICOPRO commercial featuring Lex Luger.. "YOU'VE GOTTA WANT IT!"
THE SMOKING GUNNS DEFEAT MIKE BELL AND TONY DEVITO | It's another win for this hot tag team and you wouldn't be surprised to see these guys as the next challenges to the Tag Team titles. Billy and Bart control the pace and suffer very little in the way of resistance from their opponents. DeVito is pinned following the Sidewinder. The Gunns celebrate as we head back to our broadcast team.
We're back with our announce team, and they remind us that Lex Luger has been suspended by WWF President Jack Tunney. Now, every WWF Superstar is out to prove that they're cut to be the next challenger to Yokozuna's WWF Championship! That man could very well be The Undertaker after their confrontation yesterday afternoon on Wrestling Challenge in the Funeral Parlour. Yokozuna is in action tonight!
Up next.. it's time! Ludvig Borga vs. Sgt. Slaughter!
LUDVIG BORGA DEFEATS SGT. SLAUGHTER | The war Ludvig Borga is waging against the USA is in full-swing right now as he picks up an impressive victory over veteran Sgt. Slaughter. But he doesn't find it easy. Being a former WWF Champion and having battled the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior, Slaughter knows all too well what it takes to bring to the big occasions. Unfortunately for him it seems he's been out of the ring a little too long and he can't match the brute force of the "HELSINKI HELLRAISER". Borga nails a clothesline from the second rope that damn near takes Sarge's head off.. I think he might be knocked out. Borga forces Slaughter's 300lbs frame into the Argentine Backbreaker. Slaughter passes out and Borga is victorious. He refuses to relinquish the hold straight away but eventually releases Sarge, following his dastardly act with another.. laying the flag of his native Finland across his fallen opponent, one foot placed on his chest, demanding referee Mike Chioda raise his hand in victory!
Up next.. Razor Ramon!
"MACHO MAN" Randy Savage appears on screen hyping the next wave of WWF action figures from Hasbro! "The power of Hulkamania! The knockout punch of Virgil! The audacity of IRS and the madness of the "MACHO MAN"! Collect them all now! Sold separately, dig it!?"
Gene Okerlund is in the ring and welcomes his guest, Razor Ramon! Okerlund questions the "BAD GUY" about the continuing interest that Money Inc. seem to have in him, despite having beaten Ted DiBiase fairly at SummerSlam. Razor says that what the taxman "IBS" and "MILLION DOLLAR MANG" think is not important. If they want another slice of the "BAD GUY", come and get it, because everybody knows Razor loves nothing more than a fight! And if they think the can beat Razor Ramon, they're wrong. He grabs the gold chains around his neck.. Once he's done with these chicos, it's time to hold all the gold.. Razor motions round his waist for a title belt as we head into another commercial.
A graphic appears on screen hyping our next pay-per-view event - Survivor Series - with the tag-line "WHO WILL SURVIVE!?"
A vignette airs featuring the undefeated Native American, Tatanka!
The commentary team are seen discussing what just took place with Ludvig Borga defeating Sgt. Slaughter. Heenan comments that Mr. Borga can do what he wants. When Savage and McMahon question why he would be so disrespectful and lay the Finnish flag across Sarge Heenan remarks that he's just proud of his country and showing it off. Or maybe Sarge is so old and just needed a nap.. McMahon hypes the upcoming live special coming to you from Madison Square Garden on September 25 when "MACHO" MAN" Randy Savage challenges WWF Champion Yokozuna.. Plus The Undertaker vs. Adam Bomb.. WWF Tag Team Champions The Steiners teaming with Tataka to face The Quebecers and Bam Bam Bigelow.. plus new matches announced - Owen Hart vs. "THE MODEL" Rick Martel! Ludvig Borga one-on-one with the 1-2-3 Kid! And the return of Kamala as he faces Marty Jannetty!
Up next.. WWF Champion Yokozuna vs. "HACKSAW" Jim Duggan!
An "Unbelievable" commercial aired featuring "MILLION DOLLAR MAN" Ted DiBiase.
YOKOZUNA (with MR. FUJI and JIM CORNETTE) DEFEATS "HACKSAW" JIM DUGGAN | Following his chilling encounter with The Undertaker in the Funeral Parlour, Yokozuna seems extremely on edge, even looking over his shoulder constantly during his walk to the ring. Does he fear that the "PHENOM" is stalking him? He seems to let his fears get the better of him during the match too as Duggan puts in an impressive showing, almost managing to knock the WWF Champion off his feet on multiple occasions. However, Yoko eventually snaps and takes out his frustrations with a countering belly-to-belly suplex that knocks the wind out of "HACKSAW". Followed with a Banzai Drop and the 1-2-3.. Yoko is your winner. The anger is still showing on Yokozuna's face following the bell signalling his win. He's not done with Duggan and clearly wants to send a message to The Undertaker as he decimates Duggan with not one, not two, but three more Banzai Drops. Randy Savage hops up from the announcer's position and points a finger right in Yokozuna's face telling him to back off. Yoko sits on Duggan laughing as we head to commercial break.
We hear the voice of Gorilla Monsoon as he tells us about the newest in WWF video games - King of the Ring! Available in stores now!
Security and officials have still not managed to move Yokozuna from his position as he drives the life out of "HACKSAW" Jim Duggan. Randy Savage is pacing around ringside as security try to stop him going into the ring. McMahon and Heenan have to close the show as they run-down next week's episode where you will see.. Bret "HITMAN" Hart! Tatanka! Irwin R. Schyster! Plus.. an update on the return of Crush!

MANIA | "SUPERFLY" Jimmy Snuka defeats The Brooklyn Brawler with the Superfly Splash.
WWF SUPERSTARS 18 September, 1993
Vince McMahon welcomes us to today's show alongside his broadcast partner Jerry "THE KING" Lawler in White Plains, NY. They hype appearances from Razor Ramon, The Heavenly Bodies. Plus.. Headshrinker Fatu takes on Bob Backlund! And Mr. Perfect goes one-on-one with the 7ft monster Diesel!
FATU (with AFA) DEFEATS BOB BACKLUND | You have to feel for Backlund as he suffers another tainted loss against the savage Fatu. Whilst leaning on the second rope and with the referee's back turned, Afa delivers a crushing blow to the head with his staff, allowing Fatu to make the cover and pick up the win. Backlund looks crushed following his defeat.
I promise you, Yokozuna, you will not be afraid.. you will be terrified!" (WRESTLING CHALLENGE 12/09/1993)
Backstage Todd Pettengill is standing by the spokesman for Yokozuna.. Jim Cornette. Todd questions Cornette on the mindset of Yokozuna following the confrontation with The Undertaker last week, and then the vicious attack carried out against "HACKSAW" Jim Duggan on Monday Night Raw. Is the Champion rattled by The Undertaker? Cornette clarifies, first of all, that Yokozuna is not "rattled" by The Undertaker. He is in, in fact, annoyed by the arrogance of the "DEADMAN".. to show his ugly, disgusting, deteriorated face in the presence of the WWF Champion has drawn the fury of the mighty Yokozuna. He is quite clear that if The Undertaker stepped foot in the same ring as Yokozuna he would be squashed like an insect.. just like Duggan! However, as his advisor and representative Cornette states that all dealings with Yokozuna must go through Jim Cornette first. So, if The Undertaker wants his five minutes of fame he is welcome to meet Cornette on Face To Face next week on Superstars.
McMahon and Lawler discuss the tension between Yokozuna and The Undertaker. Will Jim Cornette meet The Undertaker next week? If so, what's going to happen? McMahon mentions that "HACKSAW" Jim Duggan has been hospitalised following the attack at the hands of Yokozuna on Monday Night Raw.
1-2-3 KID DEFEATS JEFF LIBOLT | Jeff LiBolt may have "bolt" in his name but he's no match for the lightning quick 1-2-3 Kid. He gains another impressive win with the 1-2-3 Kick.
A graphic appears on screen hyping our next pay-per-view event - Survivor Series - with the tag-line "WHO WILL SURVIVE!?"
RAZOR RAMON DEFEATS RON NEAL | Chalk one up for the "BAD GUY". A dominant display from a definite future Champion which ends with a bone crushing Razor's Edge. Take notice Money Inc., Razor is not to be messed with!
An vignette airs featuring Ludvig Borga trawling through wasteland and abandoned buildings. Borga states that the USA is crumbling but instead of fixing their problems with crime, corruption and pollution, they choose to sweep it under the carpet and ignore it. Their ignorance is their downfall and so shall be the same of the poster boy of the USA.. Lex Luger. Borga says Luger is ignorant. He was ignorant when he chose to step into the ring with Yokozuna, only to be outclassed and beaten. Luger's ignorance will once again be proven if he chooses to come back to the WWF following his suspension, because the "HELSINKI HELLRAISER" will be waiting.
We see some commercials featuring Todd Pettengill regarding WWF live events coming to an arena near you soon! - Chicago, IL at the Rosemont Horizon on September 24! Philadelphia, PA at the Spectrum on September 26! If you're in New Haven, CT head down to the Coliseum on September 27! Or how about Fresno, CA at the Convention Center where WWF Champion Yokozuna goes one-on-one with Bret "HITMAN" Hart!
THE HEAVENLY BODIES (with JIM CORNETTE) DEFEAT PAUL VANDALE AND BOB SHARPE | Easy work for SMW's standout duo, picking up the win with a double flapjack. During the match an insert promo aired featuring the Bodies, championing themselves as SMW Tag Team Champions and soon to be WWF Tag Team Champions!
A split-screen appears with Mr. Perfect on one side, with Diesel and the Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels on the other. Mr. Perfect warns Shawn that he cannot hide behind Diesel forever. "Boy toy, when I'm done with the big guy, I'm coming for you and I'm coming for the belt!" Shawn retaliates by boasting that Perfect has never been able to beat him for the title. Tonight, Diesel ends him once and for all. Diesel concludes the segment by promising to run straight through Perfect. "...and Perfect, I don't honk, and I sure as hell don't stop!"
"MACHO MAN" Randy Savage appears in a highly-energetic Slim Jim commercial - "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM! OHHH YEAHHHHHH!!"
MR. PERFECT DEFEATS DIESEL (with SHAWN MICHAELS); VIA DISQUALIFICATION | A hard-fought main event with much back-and-forth action. Diesel tries to use his brute strength to dominate Perfect but the wiley veteran doesn't give in so easily. He has a few tricks of his own up his sleeve! However there's only so much Perfect can do against a 300lbs giant and that doesn't include the Perfect-Plex, which Perfect attempts unsuccessfully on two occasions. Perfect has to resort to other ways to win.. and he's not adverse to winning by any means necessary! Diesel goes in for a big boot but Perfect dodges and sends him toppling over the top-rope. He follows and looks to continue the battle out on the arena floor. However, Shawn Michaels approaches from behind.. but Perfect spots him in his peripheral and sticks a finger out towards him. Shawn backs off, protesting his innocence, as Perfect advances on the Intercontinental Champion, referee Joey Marella leaning through the ropes counting away. Diesel is back up and drives a knee into the lower back of Mr. Perfect, and both he and Shawn begin a double-team attack on Perfect. Marella calls for the bell as the assault continues. The two end their attack by driving Perfect violently into the ring-post. "Oh no! Mr. Perfect has been knocked out cold! Somebody get some help out here!" cries McMahon. Shawn and Diesel head to the back with much satisfaction.
We hear the voice of Gorilla Monsoon as he tells us about the newest in WWF video games - King of the Ring! Available in stores now!
McMahon and Lawler sign-off.. but not before a run-down of next weeks episode! You'll see.. The Smoking Gunns! Bam Bam Bigelow! "MILLION DOLLAR MAN" Ted DiBiase! "THE ROCKET" Owen Hart! Plus, a huge main event as Irwin R. Schyster challenges the undefeated Tatanka!

WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 12th September 1993...Alright, one day away from the well-publicised return of Monday Night RAW following its' brief post-SummerSlam hiatus. Marty Jannetty with the win was fine - I don't even remember Jannetty past his brief WWF Intercontinental Championship reign earlier in the year honestly. Meanwhile, the 1-2-3 Kid is climbing the ranks which is cool - slowly but surely without a doubt. Money Inc victorious was fine; I see you are keeping Ted Dibiase around - perhaps he could be a manager for Irwin R. Schyster going forward. Mind you, it's not like IRS needed a mouthpiece, he was always pretty decent on the mic. Yokozuna and Hacksaw Jim Duggan should make for a solid main event tomorrow night, and I suspect Yokozuna will win being that he is the WWF Champion and Duggan by this point was on his way out in the coming months. I always kind of liked Adam Bomb, so I hope you have something lined up for him in the future. Big double main event for RAW tomorrow including Sgt Slaughter against Ludvig Borga, which has been another short-term story arc nicely played out. It establishes Borga, and I suspect he will be victorious tomorrow on RAW. I think it could be foreshadowing, this double main event: setting up a potential USA vs the World main event at the Survivor Series in November. I suspect that this will be the end result, anyway. Tatanka beating Doink the Clown was fine, as Doink loses again after previously losing to Bret Hart at SummerSlam. But he could bounce back - I do hope he remains a heel, with that said. Ah that trickster Doink the Clown, he got Howard Finkel good! What a heel. Finally, a very good closing angle on the Funeral Parlor with the Undertaker making his intentions set on Yokozuna as expected, and we could potentially have a long build up to a WWF Championship defense - more likely at the Royal Rumble than Survivor Series. It was very nice seeing Mr Fuji and James E. Cornette insert their authority at the same time, and I think the managers' contrasting with Paul Bearer's character will be very vital in the build as well. I hope you include that at some point, no doubt. I must also applaud your presentation skills in using the technical language detailing the visuals: it comes across as very script-like in the appropriate places whereas persuasive in the kayfabe sections - very nice to see. Not a bad show which finally set up the main event angle moving forward.
WWF Monday Night RAW: Monday 13th September 1993...Nice feature with the cold open, very cool little hype feature. I used to love the cult-like atmosphere of RAW in 1993, so you've made a good job with the presentation skills for this. Mr Perfect with a win to kick off gave him momentum, and now it appears that it may be time to revive the previous heat between Perfect, Shawn Michaels and Diesel. Hopefully Michaels doesn't screw up with his drug test and we actually see this feud take place - it could be a bigger stepping stone for Michaels than the Razor Ramon feud was, if booked correctly. I am curious for your future plans of Diesel though - on one hand, he was a very mediocre draw as WWF Champion in the year 1995, however I feel like he would have been better given the booking support in both his opponents and his capabilities. Who knows which direction you'll take though...you have a long way to go with these two characters since Diesel was still a newcomer at this point. Jeff Jarrett is coming, good! I always liked Jarrett, and am curious for how you introduce him. This vignette was well written. The Smoking Gunns with a win was fine - Billy and Bart were kind of afterthoughts in 1993, though; I always think of them being the rulers of the tag team division in 1995 and 1996 - I hope you change that, since they were a very good tag team I thought. Ludvig Borga defeating Sgt Slaughter was well expected, and one of the top storyline points of this episode of RAW: good to see Sarge back in action, and he served well in bumping for Borga, whose star is on the rise. The submission defeat drew parallels to Rocky IV, which is probably your intention to get Borga over as a threat. I wouldn't mind seeing Borga challenge an American WWF Champion down the line, most likely after WrestleMania however. Razor Ramon's interview was nice - I forgot how long Gene Okerlund was around, honestly. It appears that he will be going for Irwin R. Schyster now that he has a win over Ted Dibiase - not a problem there. I do wonder if you have plans to boost Ramon to that main event platform which we didn't see in his WWF run. I think you have long-term plans to focus on him getting to the WWF Intercontinental Championship one way or another, though. That will be an interesting process. And lastly, obviously the best decision was for Yokozuna to defeat Jim Duggan in this main event. Duggan like I mentioned is in the twilight of his WWF tenure, whereas Yokozuna needs strong booking as WWF Champion to seem dominant: this is also a very anti-USA episode of RAW, which is interesting to see. Randy Savage interrupting put the focus on Yokozuna defending the title against Savage at the next Madison Square Garden show, and potentially more: could we end up seeing Savage as a part of the American team at the Survivor Series should you choose that route? A lot of heat on the heels on this show, which makes me think you will juxtapose this next week on RAW with babyfaces getting the upperhand to regain a measure of neutrality. Bret Hart next week should forward his feud with Jerry Lawler, if not move on to something different. Crush was a character I always liked, especially when he turned heel and sided with James E. Cornette, Mr Fuji and Yokozuna. Not a bad show! It was very smooth to get into.
WWF Superstars: Saturday 18th September 1993...Alright, Fatu! Good win against Bob Backlund in the opening contest to keep the Headshrinkers looking nice. It's a nice change to see Fatu in singles action no less. I really liked this incarnation of Fatu, to be honest. I was actually surprised that there was no real reference or replay of last Sunday's Funeral Parlor during RAW honestly - I guess you are building Yokozuna and the Undertaker's feud more subtly and methodically, which is always smart with so much more time to go until the Survivor Series in November. The replay here was wise as a reminder of the Wrestling Challenge last week. James E. Cornette rescued Yokozuna's run as WWF Champion monster heel I believe - Mr Fuji was fine god bless him, but he wasn't good on the mic for the (billed) non-English Yokozuna character. Cornette rectifies that. I liked Yokozuna's comments for the Undertaker - and a face to face confrontation with...Cornette next week for the Undertaker could be very good! Although I could see Paul Bearer taking that role instead, now that would be an interesting clash of personalities, especially with a slight focus on managers. The 1-2-3 Kid continues to climb the ladder, just beating enhancement talents probably waiting for something to do next - not bad. Razor Ramon's win was fine, as this served as an establishing point to prepare Ramon for his upcoming feud with Irwin R. Schyster of Money Inc. That Ludvig Borga video was very nice, talking down Lex Luger. I'm surprisingly excited for the prospect of this feud when Luger returns, whenever that will be. It's strange seeing James E. Cornette go from managing Yokozuna to manage the Heavenly Bodies: but the Bodies were a good team, and I liked the focus on them. Of course they are SMW Tag Team Champions, so it works out even more. I would like to see more cross-promotion with the World Wrestling Federation and Smokey Mountain Wrestling. Diesel and Mr Perfect's spitscreen segment hyped the main event appropriately, which was done very smoothly. And finally, Perfect with a big win against Diesel was good and expected, as Perfect got the boots handed to him by Shawn Michaels and Diesel, putting the WWF Intercontinental Championship feud into next gear instinctively. Overall, a solid episode of Superstars - which has been your best show from the getgo so far. Not bad stuff, I'm interested in seeing more very soon. You've built a very good foundation for the diary in a short amount of time; and this diary feels a lot smoother than your attempt at a modern day diary (see: WWE 2015). Good work.

ALL-AMERICAN WRESTLING | RAZOR RAMON defeats THE MVP with the Razor's Edge.
WWF WRESTLING CHALLENGE 19 September, 1993
Jim Ross and Gorilla Monsoon welcome us to the show here in Lowell, MA at the Memorial Auditorium! On this afternoon's episode of Wrestling Challenge.. Tatanka! Rick Martel vs. Marty Jannetty! The Steiners! Bam Bam Bigelow! And WWF Champion Yokozuna!
RICK MARTEL DEFEATS MARTY JANNETTY | via submission with the Boston Crab.
A graphic appears on screen hyping our next pay-per-view event - Survivor Series - with the tag-line "WHO WILL SURVIVE!?"
(SUPERSTARS 18/09/1993)
GIANT GONZALEZ DEFEATS RUSS GREENBURG | via knockout when Greenburg passed out in a claw-hold. Following the match, Harvey Wippleman leads Adam Bomb to the ring, going face-to-face with Giant Gonzalez. After a brief stare down, Bomb unloads on Gonzalez and the two begin brawling. Gonzalez looks set to hit a Chokeslam when Wippleman nails him in the back with a steel chair. Unaffected, he begins to approach his former manager. Harvey backs off in fear and stumbles to the floor. However, before he can get to Harvey he is met with a vicious flying clothelines by Bomb. The force of the clothesline knocks Gonzalez off his feet! Harvey Wippleman promised revenge against Giant Gonzalez and he has it.. in the form of Adam Bomb!
A commercial airs announcing that tomorrow on Monday Night Raw we will see Irwin R. Schyster go one-on-one with Bret "HITMAN" Hart!
MONEY INC. DEFEAT DAVE MORALDO AND MIKE KHOURY | via pinfall when IRS hit Moraldo with the Write-Off.
A commercial aired featuring Yokozuna terrorising the citizens of Japan.. "WWF.. IT'S UNBELIEVABLE!"
(SUPERSTARS 18/09/1993)
"MACHO MAN" Randy Savage appears in a highly-energetic Slim Jim commercial - "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM! OHHH YEAHHHHHH!!"
TATANKA DEFEATS RICH MYERS | via pinfall with the End of the Trail. Tatanka remains undefeated!
"LORD" Alfred Hayes brings us the WWF Update.. featuring promotion for tomorrow night's Monday Night Raw which will see Bret Hart take on IRS.. Promotion for the Madison Square Garden Special on the USA Network this coming Wednesday on September 22, featuring Yokozuna defending the World Wrestling Federation Championship against "MACHO MAN" Randy Savage.. Comments from Savage are shown, where he promises to make Yokozuna pay for all the destruction he has caused recently.. Also booked for MSG is The Undertaker going one-on-one with Adam Bomb, who has a new manager in Harvey Wippleman.. Ludvig Borga faces the 1-2-3 Kid.. Owen Hart meets Rick Martel.. Kamala returns to the ring as he faces Marty Jannetty.. Plus a huge six-man tag team match featuring Tatanka and the WWF Tag Team Champions The Steiner Brothers as they clash with The Quebecers and Bam Bam Bigelow! Recapped this weekend's edition of Superstars where Diesel and Shawn Michaels severely beat-down Mr. Perfect and left him out cold on the arena floor. Sources say WWF President Jack Tunney will be making an announcement regarding the incident tomorrow on Monday Night Raw..
THE STEINER BROTHERS DEFEAT TONY DEVITO AND SCOTT DESPRES | via pinfall following the Frankensteiner to DeVito. Features an insert promo from Rick and Scott as they addressed comments made about them by The Quebecers this weekend on Radio WWF. The Steiners are fighting champions and are ready if Jacques and Pierre think they have what it takes to take the belts away from them!
An ICOPRO commercial airs featuring Lex Luger.. "YOU'VE GOTTA WANT IT!"
BAM BAM BIGELOW (with LUNA VACHON) DEFEATS MIKE DAVIS | via pinfall after hitting a devastating diving headbutt from the top-rope. During his entrance Bam Bam stole a Tatanka sign from a fan in the first row and ripped it into tiny pieces!
Up next... Yokozuna!
YOKOZUNA (with MR. FUJI and JIM CORNETTE) DEFEATS BART GUNN (with BILLY GUNN) | via pinfall after the Banzai Drop. Following the match, Yokozuna looked to hit another Banzai Drop on Bart but was stopped by Billy.. albeit temporarily. The WWF Champion then decided to flatten Billy instead, leaving the ring with the Smoking Gunns devastated.
We see a vignette featuring a man by the name of Jeff Jarrett.. "That's J-E-double F.. J-A-double R-E-double T!.." Jarrett is standing outside the Ryman Auditorium insulting various dead country-music stars, including Conway Twitty. He says that country music is dead and buried, it's decaying like the building behind him. But when Double J comes to the WWF and takes over the world, he's gonna come back as not only the greatest wrestler in the world but also the greatest country music star in the world too. And when he does, they're gonna rename the Ryman Auditorium - home of the Grand Ole Opry - to the Double J Auditorium - home of the greatest country music star in the world. "That's J-E-double F.. J-A-double R-E-double T!"
Jim Ross and Gorilla Monsoon close the show by hyping next week's show - The Headshrinkers! Doink! "MACHO MAN" Randy Savage is in action against Bastion Booger! Plus the King's Court with Jerry "THE KING" Lawler and his guest "THE ROCKET" Owen Hart!

Update by Todd Pettengill
We're just days away from the first LIVE Madison Square Garden show on the USA Network (7/8c for those thinking of tuning in!) and we have stellar line-up of matches so far. The World Wrestling Federation title is on the line as Yokozuna faces off against "MACHO MAN" Randy Savage, The Undertaker squares off with Adam Bomb, and more! But now, thanks to WWF President Jack Tunney, he announced during a special Sunday night broadcast of Radio WWF that there will be another match added to the card.. We heard rumours of President Tunney commenting on the Shawn Michaels/Mr. Perfect debacle this past week on Superstars, and whilst Mr. Perfect is in no condition to compete the Intercontinental Champion certainly is! President Tunney has ruled that Shawn Michaels will be in action in Madison Square Garden against the 480lbs Mabel! Even with a 7ft bodyguard in Diesel I think this one's gonna be tough for the "HEART BREAK KID"! But that's not all... it's also been announced that next week on Monday Night Raw there will be a rematch for the Intercontinental title.. Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Perfect! Tomorrow's edition of Monday Night Raw will feature a phone-in poll to determine the type of match in which they will meet!

WWF MONDAY NIGHT RAW 13 September, 1993 Ep.#32
"LAST WEEK... A DASTARDLY ATTACK BY INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SHAWN MICHAELS AND HIS BODYGUARD DIESEL RESULTED IN MR. PERFECT LYING OUT-COLD ON THE ARENA FLOOR!... TONIGHT, YOU DECIDE HOW MR. PERFECT CAN GET HIS REVENGE! TONIGHT, SHAWN MICHAELS FATE IS IN YOUR HANDS! TONIGHT, THE CHOICE IS YOURS!!!"
___________________________
Vince McMahon's bellowing voice is heard over the signature sirens welcoming us to New York City! "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Raw!" He is joined by Bobby "THE BRAIN" Heenan and Jerry "THE KING" Lawler! Tonight, we'll determine just how Shawn Michaels will defend his Intercontinental title against Mr. Perfect next week live on Monday Night Raw! McMahon encourages the viewers to call as a graphic appears on screen detailing just how they can do so and what exactly they're voting for! "Choice number one is a career-changing Steel Cage Match! You can choose option number two which is a gruelling and unpredictable Falls Count Anywhere Match! Or how about choice number three.. get more of your favourite WWF superstars involved to ensure we get the correct outcome to this encounter in a Lumberjack Match!" We go to ringside as the action starts..
Irwin R. Schyster is introduced ahead of his match, accompanied to the ring by his tag team partner Ted DiBiase. IRS warns every New Yorker in the crowd to be prepared for the IRS to come knocking down their doors in the morning because everyone in the state of New York is a tax-cheat. DiBiase, taking the mic, pulls out a fistful of cash and offers it to IRS' upcoming opponent, Bret Hart. DiBiase states both he and Irwin would rather not be there in this "filthy slum" and will gladly pay Bret to take the fall. Sure enough, Bret Hart makes his entrance to a thunderous reception. DiBiase offers him the cash once more but Hart refuses, instead telling DiBiase and IRS to take the money and invest in some diapers.. We're having the match right now!
BRET HART DEFEATS IRWIN R. SCHYSTER (with "MILLION DOLLAR MAN" TED DIBIASE) | Lots of "Burger King" chants throughout the match, riling up Jerry Lawler as his nemesis Bret Hart holds his own with IRS. Lots of holds from both competitors as they look to wear each other down. IRS powers out of many as he realises that Bret cannot be bested. DiBiase uses his influence on the outside to distract Bret, waving the cash around and laughing manically. Eventually though it's too much and Bret slides out and decks DiBiase! Now on the comeback, Bret and IRS go toe-to-toe with brawling tactics. IRS sets up for the win and the Write-Off.. but Bret rolls through and hold IRS down for the three-count! Following the match, Bret celebrates his win until he is jumped from behind by Jerry Lawler! He bashes the "HITMAN" in the spine with his crown as Ted DiBiase joins the attack too. The crowd pops as Razor Ramon hits the ring and evens things out! He and Bret fight off Money Inc. and "THE KING" and send them into retreat up the aisle!
"MACHO MAN" Randy Savage appears in a highly-energetic Slim Jim commercial - "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM! OHHH YEAHHHHHH!!"
We hear the voice of Gorilla Monsoon as he tells us about the newest in WWF video games - King of the Ring! Available in stores now!
Harvey Wippleman leads Adam Bomb to the ring, going face-to-face with Giant Gonzalez. (WRESTLING CHALLENGE 19/09/1993)
ADAM BOMB (with HARVEY WIPPLEMAN) DEFEATS GARY JACKSON | Wippleman leads out his new client, the menacing Adam Bomb, and leads him straight into a dominating victory. Heenan questions why Bomb doesn't put away his opponent sooner as he has the opportunity.. I guess Harvey wants to prove a point! Bomb wins with the Atom Smasher.
We see Vince McMahon in the ring as he welcomes Harvey Wippleman and Adam Bomb for an exclusive interview. McMahon questions Harvey how he came to acquire the services of Bomb and whether this was the "revenge" he was talking about in regards to Giant Gonzalez. Harvey states that Adam Bomb is among the most feared competitors in the WWF, and he knew that only someone of his caliber could bring down Giant Gonzalez. So that's what he did.. he bought the contract from Johnny Polo and set his new beast on his old one. He hopes Gonzalez has learnt that Harvey always wins. Bomb chimes in that he is the "CREATION OF DEVASTATION" and if Giant Gonzalez crosses the line into Three Mile Island, he will have no problem in blowing him away.
A commercial airs hyping next week's edition of Monday Night Raw.. We'll see the return from suspension of Lex Luger! Plus..
It's building up to be biggest Monday Night Raw in history!
We're back at ringside as the McMahon and Heenan review the poll so far.. it's neck and neck between the Steel Cage Match (38%) and the Lumberjack Match (41%)!
MEN ON A MISSION (with OSCAR) DEFEAT BARRY HOROWITZ AND RENO RIGGINS | NYC is hot for Mo and Mabel! Oscar gets the crowd going from ringside and that's all these two behemoths need to ensure they're on-top throughout. M.O.M. hit a double splash against the turnbuckles on poor Horowitz to pick up the win! During the match, McMahon and Heenan talk to the incapacitated Crush over the phone. Crush informs us all that he will be back "very, very soon".
We cut backstage where a flustered Money Inc. and Jerry "THE KING" Lawler have some air-time! A challenge is made to Bret Hart and Razor Ramon to face Money Inc. this coming Wednesday in Madison Square Garden!
A graphic appears on screen hyping our next pay-per-view event - Survivor Series - with the tag-line "WHO WILL SURVIVE!?"
An ICOPRO commercial airs featuring Tatanka.. Available at all GNC General Nutrition Centers!
We see vignette featuring Jeff Jarrett, the newest WWF Superstar and self-proclaimed country music sensation, walking the streets of Memphis. That's J-E-double F.. Double J-E-double R-E-double T! Jarrett comes across a busker on the streets and asks him about his dreams. The busker replies that he dreams of being a big music star.. but Jarrett cuts him off before he finishes his story. Jarrett then places a quarter in the busker's hat on the sidewalk and explains that he has a heart, and what's in his heart is not what comes second nature to him. That's professional wrestling.. No, what's in his heart is country music, and he intends on using the World Wrestling Federation as a launching pad to becoming both the greatest professional wrestling in the world and then, inevitably, the greatest country superstar in the world too. Jarrett tells the busker to remember where that quarter came from. "It came from Jeff Jarrett! That's J-E-double F.. Double J-E-double R-E-double T!" A twinkle appears in his eye as we go back to ringside!
A graphic appears on screen as McMahon and Heenan discuss this coming Saturday's edition of Superstars. Jim Cornette, the American spokesman for WWF Champion Yokozuna, will meet The Undertaker and Paul Bearer.. Face-to-Face! Also scheduled is a big match between Irwin R. Schyster and Tatanka! We also see the latest polling results.. Steel Cage Match (34%), Falls Count Anywhere (21%), and Lumberjack Match (45%).
A message brought to you by the World Wrestling Federation.. The Undertaker appears on screen amongst the fog and gravestones of a cemetery.. "If you drink and drive, sooner or later you're going to meet The Undertaker!"
1-2-3 KID DEFEATS DOINK THE CLOWN | Doink seems more interested in "clowning around" than having a serious match. But I think we've learnt by now that you have to take the 1-2-3 Kid seriously or you pay the price. And that's exactly what happens here. Doink had previously appeared to grease the ropes to stop Kid going up top, but it failed as Kid goes up top and avoids the dispicable trick. Instead of trying to avoid the oncoming attack, Doink pulls out a pair of glasses and questions whether Kid would hit someone with glasses! Unfortunately for Doink, he would, and Kid picks up the win with a dropkick from the top turnbuckle! Following the match, Heenan cannot control his laughter! He's literally rolling around the floor! This upsets Doink, now recovered, and he pulls out a pale of water from underneath the ring! Heenan's mood soon changes.. Begging ensues as the broadcaster doesn't want to end the night drenched. The New York crowd however wants different, and Doink plays to them! Should he? Shouldn't he? Will he? Won't he? It seems he won't, and he pats a relieved Heenan on the shoulder as a gesture that the gag is over. Heenan sighs heavily and turns to return to his seat.. but Doink sneaks up behind and surprises him by dumping the water over his head! The crowd pops as Heenan near enough jumps out of his skin! Doink gets the last laugh!
A commercial aired featuring Yokozuna terrorising the citizens of Japan.. "WWF.. IT'S UNBELIEVABLE!"
Vince McMahon and a soaking-wet and miserable Bobby Heenan close the show by revealing they've received word that Bret Hart and Razor Ramon have accepted the challenge to face Money Inc. in Madison Square Garden this Wednesday live on the USA Network! We also get the result of the poll to determine the stipulation for next week's Intercontinental Championship Match between Shawn Michaels and Mr. Perfect.. Steel Cage Match (35%), Falls Count Anywhere (18%), and Lumberjack Match (47%). It'll be a Lumberjack Match! Also next week.. Lex Luger returns! Ludvig Borga is in action! And The Smoking Gunns face The Headshrinkers!

Great Card for Madison Square Garden. Savage and Yokozuna for the WWF Championship should be great. Undertaker and Adam Bomb duking it out, what a war that will be Maggle. And next Monday Night on RAW. It's the Lumberjack Match between Mr. Perfect and Shawn Michaels for the WWF Intercontinental Title. Should be a fun match to see. Will Perfect finally end the Intercontinental Championship Reign of Shawn Michaels. Or will HBK once again escape or have his little bitch boy Diesel help him, either way Perfect and Michaels for the Intercontinental Title next week in a Lumberjack Match should be a great one. Bret and Razor as a tag team against Money. Inc is kinda strange, it would be odd to see them as the WWF Tag Team Champions too. And I wonder if we're going to see a Survivor Series Main Event Elimination Style Match between Lex Luger and Yokozuna too. Loving all the work CHAZ, keep this badboy up.

WWF Wrestling Challenge: Sunday 19th September 1993...Ah, Razor Ramon beats the MVP on All-American Wrestling. Haha, I remember the MVP. Steve Lombardi was the best job guy around by far. Onto the show, Rick Martel beating Marty Jannetty sounded like it would be a great match - but this is after a few run-ins from the law for Jannetty to look on Martel's level. I do hope Martel is used accordingly in this diary. It is a shame that this doesn't seem like anything to build Martel's character, though. Giant Gonzalez...sigh. I guess he needed to keep looking strong, although I'm not really sure why he's still around. Money Inc still being around is also pretty unique since I believe Ted Dibiase left after SummerSlam - I wonder what Dibiase and Irwin R. Schyster will do now. Tatanka needed the win to remind us of his undefeated streak - let's hope Ludvig Borga doesn't shatter that. It appears that your focal point right now is building the Madison Square Garden special for this week - which I could see being good to see with the four pay-per-views a year format being frustratingly progressive when done in a diary format like this. The card looks fine, like a modern two hour edition of RAW for the time period - and I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing some signs of build for the Survivor Series in November in New York on Wednesday. The Steiner Brothers with a win was alright, and it seems like their first contenders will be the Quebecers - which should lead to some fun matches. Always was a fan of Jacques and Pierre as a team. Let's just forget about Jean-Pierre LaFitte...Bam Bam Bigelow with the win was only important for something micro like ripping up a Tatanka sign. They had some pretty good matches, so this sounds appealing to me. And lastly, Yokozuna mows through Bart Gunn - I guess the Smoking Gunns still aren't at a valued level yet, though I do hope to see Billy and Bart getting some build in the future. Here, Yokozuna needed the win after losing to Lex Luger by count-out at SummerSlam - and given his WWF Champion status, he should have won period. But our final focus is on Jeff Jarrett's debut? That would give the indication that he will make his debut sooner than later - as in, maybe this upcoming week? Not a bad edition, establishing some undercard feuds and progressing some characters through enhancing wins.
WWF Monday Night RAW: Monday 20th September 1993...Nice way to kick off with a heel like Irwin R. Schyster alongside Money Inc associate Ted Dibiase running down the crowd, and this was a fun set-up to introduce Bret Hart and introduce the opening contest. This was pretty well done, and the right man won as Bret Hart needs to regain momentum after spending so much time trying to get his hands on Jerry Lawler back going into SummerSlam. I suspect he will be re-introduced to the WWF Championship scene at some point in the foreseeable future. Razor Ramon makes the save for Bret from a Money Inc beatdown, ideally reminding us of Razor's business with Dibiase - and there's another star-studded match added to the Madison Square Garden show this Wednesday night. There's something about these graphics that I really like - I think it's the little motion blur you put on them gives it a nice, timely, authentic look. So Adam Bomb seems to want to get his hands on Giant Gonzalez? I guess it had to happen given both men were once clients of Harvey Wippleman. I just don't see what Gonzalez can do in the World Wrestling Federation other than face the Undertaker and possibly Lex Luger (neither man anymore given Gonzalez turned face at SummerSlam). That said it could make Bomb look impressive - I do think he was a very underrated athlete in this time period. Adam Bomb with an establishing win; the post-match comments added to the heat, too. Mr Perfect and Shawn Michaels next week for the WWF Intercontinental Championship sounds great, it's a stacked match at that. I just hope Michaels doesn't fail a drug test anytime soon...I will say though, I'm not too fond of the fan interaction aspect with the open poll - it just doesn't feel like something WWF would do in 1993. And I don't feel like this feud (I know they had the street brawl back after WrestleMania IX too) has the heat needed to trigger a gimmick match yet. Men on a Mission with the win was alright - more importantly, Crush's were quite ominous. Where did Crush even go anyway? Hahah, the anti-DUI commercial from the Undertaker. Very fun inclusion. And finally, the 1-2-3 Kid is still on the up-and-up, defeating Doink the Clown. Doink can take the loss because his character is solid enough that he can easily regain heat as a heel. Just like after the match, I really enjoyed that post-match. Boy, Bobby Heenan really upset Doink - quite strange given Heenan is still a heel here I believe. Nonetheless. So the stipulation for next week's battle between Michaels and Perfect is a Lumberjack match - probably the best stipulation since I have doubts that they could even fit a Steel Cage inside of the Manhatten Center (has it happened before? Cannot recall). A good card lined up for next week with Lex Luger's return, probably to set up the feud with Ludvig Borga. That Madison Square Garden show on Wednesday looks good too, a lot of happening things in this diary so far, please do keep it up.

Not my time period at all but i'll try to reply as best as possible. Love the layout and the graphic work really represents the time period perfectly. Bret and IRS was a good match to get Bret some momentum, the post match attack from Jerry Lawler interests me. Money Inc. vs. Bret/Razor should be good and i'm calling The Bad Guy and The Babyface Guy to take it. Adam Bomb vs. Giant Gonzalez? Hm, should be an interesting match up and could be a good match to make Adam look like a monster. Having Adam take a squash match was another good call. Something about this Raw i've noticed, squash match galore. Not a bad thing for this time period though as it was the days before having to put money drawing matches on Monday Nights. Love the Jeff Jarrett segment, hate Jeff Jarrett. Not going to lie, I popped hard as hell for Barry Horowitz more than Men On A Mission. #PushBarry. 1-2-3 Kid vs. Doink as the main event? Interesting, would have been a good match I suppose in real life but I don't see Doink as Main event match material, though again this really isn't my cup of tea when it comes to time periods so what do I know? Excited for HBK/Perfect and that could be Match of the Year contender. Overall, good Raw man!

I'll start off with saying... I've missed ya! Really enjoyed sinking my teeth in to this diary for the past couple of days.
First thing that's apparent is the writing style. Still the beautiful presentation of a Chaz diary from years gone, but I am in love with the phrasing. Blending commentary with the action seamlessly isn't easy to do, but you have managed to do so with making it feel genuine for the era (if that makes sense?).
It takes me a little bit to find my feet with the undercard with early '90s era booking, but everything is looking brilliant. Adam Bomb's introduction in particular a highlight for me. Also super interested to see where you take Shawn Michaels and Mabel too. Interesting times in both careers but obviously in the real world of the WWF one took a different trajectory in terms of becoming a star.
I'll be checking in with updates from here on in and leaving show-by-show feedback.

WWF: LIVE FROM MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 22 September, 1993 Before the credits roll we see various pre-taped comments from some of tonight's competitors.. MONEY INC. with JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER - "It's tax time, and Razor, Hitman, it's time to pay-up!" (IRS), "Mr. Machismo has made the Million Dollar mistake of crossing the "MILLION DOLLAR MAN". Now.. you and the Hitman.. you're both going to pay the price! HAHAHAHAHA!" (DiBiase), "Bret Hart, I hope you have Bellevue on speed-dial because when tonight's over and done with, you and that idiot Razor Ramon will be slumming it with the rest of these New York parasites!" (Lawler) ______ RAZOR RAMON - "Yo, Rich Mang, Tax Man.. you've spent most of your careers bribing and cheating your way to success. But tonight, there will be no pay-offs, only lay-offs.. chicos, the bank.. is closed!"BRET HART - "Money Inc. loves to talk about being cash-rich and throw their money and weight around. But they're just like that rotten Jerry Lawler; morally bankrupt!"______ SHAWN MICHAELS with DIESEL - "Jack Tunney thinks he has one over on me putting me against the 500lbs Mabel? Well, let me tell you something.. Mabel is not an issue, Jack Tunney is not an issue, and Mr. Perfect is not an issue! Tonight, you're all gonna see why I'm the Intercontinental Champion and why I am the star of the 90's!MABEL with MO and OSCAR- "HEART BREAK KID".. Shawn Michaels.. you may think you're above me but tonight, when you see 500lbs of positivity raining down on you, you're gonna wish you were!"______ HARVEY WIPPLEMAN with ADAM BOMB - "Get a good look Giant Gonzalez. The "CREATION OF DEVASTATION" Adam Bomb is about to go nuclear on The Undertaker, and you're in the blast zone!"THE UNDERTAKER with PAUL BEARER - "Adam Bomb, the demons have summoned me once more.. to make a statement. Not to you Adam Bomb, or to you Harvey Wippleman. It is to you, Yokozuna. The message is simple.. I cannot be destroyed. You will rest in peace!"______ JIM CORNETTE with YOKOZUNA and MR. FUJI - "Yokozuna has one eye on you Undertaker but tonight is all about settling a score with the "MACHO MAN". Savage, you've made a grave error accepting this match tonight. Lex Luger couldn't take this belt, The Undertaker won't take this belt, and you CAN'T take this belt. There is no competition!""MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE - "Oh yeah! I'm looking forward to becoming a three-time.. three-time.. three-time World Wrestling Federation Champion! The undefeatable Yokozuna, yeah! You want a challenge Yokozuna? I'm gonna test ya, yeah! I'm going for the three-peat! And as for you Jim Cornette, I'm gonna make you eat those words, yeah, and I'm gonna make sure you choke on 'em. DIG IT?!"______
Vince McMahon's bellowing voice welcomes us to tonight's special live program on the USA Network. "Welcome to Madison Square Garden! Welcome to the World Wrestling Federation!" We have a huge night ahead of us here with some big battles in the middle of the ring. The challenge was set this past week on Monday Night Raw, Money Inc. against Razor Ramon and Bret "HITMAN" Hart. Who will come out on top tonight? The reigning Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels will square off with Mabel of Men on a Mission less than one week before defending his title in a Lumberjack Match against Mr. Perfect! Harvey Wippleman's new monster, Adam Bomb, will go toe-to-toe with The Undertaker, who's still vying to face the WWF Champion.. whoever that may be after tonight.. Yokozuna, the current champion, defends against former two-time WWF Champion "MACHO MAN" Randy Savage! McMahon and Heenan talk us through stills from the matches earlier on in the evening in the untelevised portion of the event. "THE ROCKET" Owen Hart scored a big win over "THE MODEL" Rick Martel with a body press from the top rope. Kamala made his return to the World Wrestling Federation with a victory over Marty Jannetty. The 1-2-3 Kid wasn't so lucky and was mauled by the unstoppable Ludvig Borga, who had some choice words about the United States of America and it's "hero", Lex Luger. Plus, The Quebecers and Bam Bam Bigelow earned a victory over Tatanka and the WWF Tag Team Champions The Steiner Brothers! Johnny Polo assisted on the outside of the ring, holding the outstretched arms of Pierre as he rolled up Rick Steiner, giving him enough leverage to score the pinfall. YOKOZUNA (with MR. FUJI and JIM CORNETTE) DEFEATS "MACHO MAN" RANDY SAVAGE TO RETAIN THE WWF CHAMPIONSHIP | Savage turns on the charm with the Madison Square Garden crowd and leads them in a "USA" chant to start the show. He tries to take it to Yoko' to begin with but he's easily overpowered. Savage his tenacity and guts but is that enough to beat this monster? Savage ends up on the outside of the ring. Yokozuna throws him around, showing no mercy, to the delight of the onlooking Jim Cornette and Mr. Fuji. Back in the ring, the assault continues on Savage as Fuji directs the champion. A right-hand from Yoko' is blocked and Savage begins to display that fighting spirit again. He wants the title, he wants to be a three-time WWF Champion. He needs to wear down Yokozuna enough to take control. But his comeback stops there as he bounces off the ropes and may as well have ran into a bus. Yokozuna completely flattens the "MACHO MAN". Fuji calls for Yoko' to end the contest and signals to the corner. Yokozuna drags his prey over towards the turnbuckles and ascends the ropes. Savage is in deep trouble.. Vince McMahon is pleading for Savage to move and avoid serious injury! The champion takes a little too long, because as he bounces up and launches himself into attack Savage recovers just in-time and rolls out of harms way! Yoko' is left splattered on the mat! Now is the time for Savage to assume control. He goes up-top and jumps at Yokozuna, delivering a crushing blow the head. Followed by another.. and again.. and again! Yokozuna doesn't drop.. Savage goes up for the fifth time and nails another blow to Yokozuna and in that moment the entire arena appears to rumble as he hits the floor! Madison Square Garden pops big, they think this one is going Savage's way. He's going to achieve the three-peat! Mr. Fuji hops up on the apron with a hand-full of what looks like salt.. but Savage spots him and ducks the attempt. Unfortunately, the referee takes the fall instead! Mr. Fuji is levelled by Savage. Now he has his eyes on Cornette! He backs away from Savage and protests, begs, pleads with him. He doesn't want any part of the "MACHO MAN"! Tumbling to the floor, Cornette can be heard offering Savage money to leave him alone! I don't think he understands that this isn't about money for Randy, it's about being the top-dog once again. Savage drags Cornette up from the floor by the collar of his hideous tuxedo with the crowd rallying right behind him. They want to see this worm squashed for good! Wait.. what's this.. Crush! It's Crush! He blasts Savage in the back of the head with Fuji's salt bucket. He's already out-cold, but Crush applies the Kona Clutch anyway and squeezes the remaining life out of his former friend. He rolls him back into the ring and tends to Mr. Fuji. Yokozuna, now recovered, covers the remains of the "MACHO MAN" as the referee struggles to crawl over. One.. two....... three! Yokozuna retains the World Wrestling Federation title! Why has Crush done this? Why has he betrayed his friend? EMT's rush to the ring to aid Savage as Yokozuna, Crush and the rest of the entourage head to the back. A graphic appears on screen hyping our next pay-per-view event - Survivor Series - with the tag-line "WHO WILL SURVIVE!?"An ICOPRO commercial airs featuring Tatanka.. Available at all GNC General Nutrition Centers! McMahon and Heenan recap what just happened, with Heenan saying it was deserved and he knows the reasons why! He won't reveal them but next week on Monday Night Raw it's going to be very interesting! Also next week.. SHAWN MICHAELS (with DIESEL) DEFEATS MABEL (with MO and OSCAR) VIA COUNT-OUT | I genuinely don't think Shawn knows how to handle the 500lbs Mabel. It was last week on Radio WWF when President Jack Tunney made the ruling that Michaels would have to face Mabel tonight, plus defend his Intercontinental title against Mr. Perfect next week on Monday Night Raw with the WWF fans deciding on a Lumberjack Match as the stipulation! Shawn's arrogance is clear from the get-go as he actually tries to lock-up and hold Mabel, who has no trouble in tossing his opponent all the across the ring! "WHOOMP! There it is!" The crowd are behind Mabel as he looks to have Shawn in his pocket. Luckily for him he has his menacing bodyguard Diesel to push him in right direction. And it is down to Diesel that Shawn scrapes through here tonight. Mabel hits the ropes just as Diesel pulls down on the top rope, sending the larger-half of Men on a Mission to tumbling to the outside. Despite their best efforts, Mo and Oscar cannot revive Mabel and Michaels picks up the count-out victory. However, all it's not all sunsets and rainbows for the Intercontinental Champion, as his opponent next week Mr. Perfect hits the ring and starts blasting rights and lefts to Shawn! Diesel comes in and aims a boot towards Perfect's face.. he moves out of the way and Diesel gets a taste of his own medicine, flying over the top rope! Shawn is able to get away, but there is no chance of that happening in the Lumberjack Match next week on Monday Night Raw! Are his days numbered? We see a vignette featuring Jeff Jarrett, the newest WWF Superstar and self-proclaimed country music sensation, walking the streets of Memphis. Double J-E-double R-E-double T!" A twinkle appears in his eye as we go return to the action! Footage takes us back two days ago to Monday Night Raw. Bret Hart refused to take the fall before his match with Irwin R. Schyster and subsequently defeated him with a roll-up. This led to an attack by Ted DiBiase and Jerry Lawler, both of whom were at ringside. Fortunately for the "HITMAN", Razor Ramon would fend off his sworn enemies Money Inc. and help rid them of "THE KING" too! Later that evening, Money Inc. and Lawler set out the challenge for a match tonight.. gladly accepted by Bret and Razor! BRET HART AND RAZOR RAMON DEFEAT MONEY INC. (with JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER) | Bret and IRS start us off, obviously in a bit of a rematch from two days ago. It's obvious nothing has changed as Bret outwrestles his opponent once again and Money Inc. have to rethink their strategy. They know Bret won't go down easily.. so do they start a brawl? Do they start a brawl when Razor Ramon is standing on the apron on the other side of the ring? As the match goes on, DiBiase and IRS single out Razor and work on his lower back, even utilising a turnbuckle exposed by Lawler from ringside without the referee noticing. Heenan comments that they're isolating his back to stop him using the Razor's Edge. DiBiase has Razor locked in the Million Dollar Dream and the crowd explodes, willing Razor to battle out of it. Bret is stomping in the corner and slapping the turnbuckle, leading everyone in unison. A Razor chant breaks out.. and the "BAD GUY" starts to stir. He won't go down that easily! Razor snaps out of it and starts pummelling DiBiase in the jaw before both men hit a clothesline on each other at the same time. It seems like eternity as both men crawl towards their respective corners and tag team partners, the hands of Bret Hart and IRS outstretched. DiBiase tags first and IRS rushes towards Razor. He grabs hold of his ankle and tries to drag him back but Razor pushes him away! He makes the tag! Bret and IRS are back in with each other. This time, IRS bests his opponent. But just as it looks like he's in control Bret turns the tide when Razor reaches over the top rope and grabs hold of the tie around IRS' neck, dropping to the ring floor. The repertoire we're so used to seeing from Bret - diving elbow from the second rope, backbreaker, Russian leg sweep - all leave IRS down, out and prone to the Sharpshooter. Bret twists and contorts the legs of IRS and turns him over to fully apply the pressure of the hold. "THE KING" hops up on the apron just as IRS taps out... but the referee doesn't see it! Razor takes out DiBiase with a clothesline on the outside and then pulls Lawler off the apron. Lawler's head connects with apron and he's out, much to the delight of McMahon and the crowd! Heenan calls foul! Bret has already released the hold when IRS sneaks up behind and grabs him at the waist, colliding with the ropes and rolling back into a pin attempt. Two count! But wait.. Bret has the leg again! IRS writhes around and struggles to break free but it's all in vain. Bret applies the hold once again and seconds later IRS submits. The crowd explodes as Bret and Razor celebrate their victory in the middle of the ring. Money Inc. and "THE KING", beaten and humiliated, retreat back up the aisle-way. I'm sure this one isn't over! "MACHO MAN" Randy Savage appears in a highly-energetic Slim Jim commercial - "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM! OHHH YEAHHHHHH!!"We return and backstage Money Inc. and Jerry "THE KING" Lawler are trying to gather some composure as they're approached in the interview area by Todd Pettengill. Todd asks for a comment on what just happened out there and has his head bitten off as the angry trio defend their performance. Ted DiBiase and IRS warn that their differences with Razor Ramon are far from over, whilst Lawler flips and insists that HE is the undisputed king of the World Wrestling Federation! THE UNDERTAKER (with PAUL BEARER) DEFEATS ADAM BOMB (with HARVEY WIPPLEMAN) | Harvey Wippleman may have touted the monsterous Adam Bomb as the "most feared competitor in the WWF" but The Undertaker is in a league, a world of his own. As soon as those lights go out, the temperature drops and the gong tolls, you know what's about to happen. How do you stop a man like The Undertaker? Is he even a man? Adam Bomb unloads everything he has to stop him but nothing keeps him down. The clothesline from the second rope that took out Giant Gonzalez didn't keep the "GRAVE DIGGER" down for even five seconds. Paul Bearer's intrusive and ear-splitting shrills on the outside of the ring seem to empower The Undertaker as he holds the mysterious urn high in the air. The "DEADMAN" is unstoppable in his comeback, assaulting a shocked Adam Bomb into defeat, putting him away with a massive Tombstone Piledriver. The celebrations are cut short however as WWF Champion Yokozuna, Mr. Fuji and Jim Cornette appear in the entrance way. The Undertaker's eyes never leave the champion, who can't quite match the gaze of his foe. Cornette and Fuji are trying to reassure and spur on Yoko' but he seems afraid. Does he fear the dead? The dark? Or does he fear the end of his dominant WWF title reign? McMahon and Heenan sign-off, running down tonight's events as another batch of stills recap what we've seen.
